Still my favourite moment from all ten series. As a UK viewer I just hope this series grows and grows and grows. Its relatively unheard of Britain - never been on British TV, but I do sure hope it gets big here soon. The most innovative, outlandish, obscure, unique yet simple and hilarious American sitcom I have ever seen!
yes! i really want this on dvd but i'd have to buy from america, probably get charged a shit tonne in import duties and not be able to play it anyway because its region locked
Charles Price Sunny is my favorite comedy of all time. The only complaint I have with the show is that, over the seasons, the characters changed to become caricatures of themselves. In the first few seasons they felt and acted more like real people. Post season 5/6, they act and feel like characters on a TV show. It's still great, but I miss that je ne sais quois that the early seasons had.
Two guys doing that clap, shaking their hips, singing this song is honestly one of the funniest moments in tv history 😅 Also, I can tell Charlie has tripped before from listening to him talk. That's EXactly how you sound trying to write while tripping lol. "Hey... Daylight" and the gesture lol. So freaking funny
@@James-if3kc haha that's hilarious. It's funny how there's actually real people out there who are that ignorant and uninformed enough to where they'd think that doing a hallucinogen at any point in their life (which are objectively 100% non-addictive substances) qualifies as being a drug addict. 😂 That's a classic line man, those people are so stupid lol
Feels like a rare moment of Dennis not being composed or having a mask up. Sees his friend in the dark doing irreversible damage to his brain by huffing paint, doesn't understand what's up with him, probably in that moment sees how damaged Charlie is.
I've had this fucking song stuck in my head on repeat for 5 days now. I had to take a huge Calculus test with this playing in the back of my mind. It's slowly driving me insane.
It finally went away. But if you ever watch Frozen, those songs will get stuck in your head in place of this song. I've been singing "Do you want to build a snowman" for days,
1:16 and 🎵friendshiiiip🎵 gets me every time ...Glenn is a brilliant comedic actor. The whole cast of IASIP is actually. That’s what makes it such a great show. One of my favorite shows ever.
Ten years ago, a friend introduced me to the show with this clip. It was an historic and defining moment that shaped my life for the better and to him, I am truly grateful.
I swear, no version of this song sounds better than this "inspiration" sequence. People should just learn the D, C, F, and G chords and sing their own versions if they want it longer.
This song is how I met my best friend in college. I just randomly said dayman and he started Dennis’s part and then we sang the whole thing. Years later we were each the best man in each others wedding Lolol
Truly beautiful, no joke, one of the few times Dennis is sympathetic for a friend and Charlie was going through a hard time, and they knocked out a a JAM
I just can't find the words to accurately describe how fucking funny this show is, I love it to pieces, I can watch the same episodes over and over and still laugh
I love this scene so much. They way they come up with the line about Dayman being a master of karate and friendship for everyone says so much about the boys. Charlie is of course thinking like a kid, that Dayman is a master at karate! Then Dennis drops in the part about how Dayman is also a master of... friendship. Like friendship is a thing to master, a valuable skill that can be honed and put to use. Charlie is a weird little puppy and Dennis is kind of a fumbling, aspiring sociopath, a raw nerve of a person who is always desperately squashing down his feelings and thinking of himself as this ice-cold manipulator. These guys are so different, but at their lowest they come together in Charlie's hovel of an apartment and create this soaring rock opera about an absurd superhero who is the champion of the sun. It's a truly great, catchy song, too!
Jesus christ, fans of this show are so goddamn pathetic. There could be a scene of someone taking a shit and you would analyze it and talk about how brilliant it is, and ooh the subtle metaphors!
MrSwadloon for your wife’s theme you have to do the night man song. When your bride enters play this lol. Nightman, sneaky and mean Spider inside my dreams, I think I love you You make me wanna cry You make me wanna die I love you, I love you I love you, I love you I love you, Nightman Every night you come into my room And pin me down with your strong arms You pin me down and I try to fight you You come inside me, you fill me up And I become the Nightman- [Verse 2] It's just two men sharing the night It might seem wrong but it's just right! It's just two men sharing each other It's just two men like loving brothers One on top and one on bottom One inside and one is out One is screaming, he's so happy The other's screaming a passionate shout It's the Nightman The feelings so wrong and right, man They're feeling so wrong and right, man I can't fight you, man When you come inside me And pin me down with your strong hands And I become The Night... The passionly passionate Nightman

its great how dennis sings "and friendship" in a different way than how it is in the actual song really makes this scene feel like a real life scenario.

*****
Peep Show is exactly what you want. Please do yourself a favour! im sure its on US netflix too!
Skulltea
its all on netflix!
Swindel i love Peep Show! One of my favorites!
WITNESS ME! SO SHINY, SO CHROME!
Nightman confirmed for first War Boy.
Derek Brazzell The Nightman will be greeted in Valhalla by Immorten Joe himself.
I LIVE! I DIE! I LIVE AGAIN!
MrSwadloon You only live twice
Derek Brazzell Oh, what a dayman! WHAT A LOVELY DAYMAN!!!
+Derek Brazzell WITNESS!!!
Best part of this scene that goes overlooked is when Dennis walks in Charlie: hello come right in
Dennis: I will
This got me through guard duty while serving in the army, it was night, it was cold and raining, then i came across this episode. Lit up my soul :)
My favourite scene from any comedy ever. Pure genius.
"Hello come right in" in a gruff voice from huffing lmfaooooooo
"I will." Is the best part of that bit.
Lmfao
Two guys doing that clap, shaking their hips, singing this song is honestly one of the funniest moments in tv history 😅
Also, I can tell Charlie has tripped before from listening to him talk. That's EXactly how you sound trying to write while tripping lol. "Hey... Daylight" and the gesture lol. So freaking funny
How proud you must be to be a drug addict who recognizes other drug addicts on tv.
This never gets old.
I've had this fucking song stuck in my head on repeat for 5 days now. I had to take a huge Calculus test with this playing in the back of my mind. It's slowly driving me insane.
ME TOOOO.
It finally went away. But if you ever watch Frozen, those songs will get stuck in your head in place of this song. I've been singing "Do you want to build a snowman" for days,
Jeff Wentz I know you wrote this forever ago, but NOW THAT SONG'S BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR DAYS
They took you, nightman
And you don't belong to them
They left me in a world of darkness
without your sexy hands and i miss you, nightman
So bad,,,,,,
grunts...
Who are they?
He jus needed a little light in his life ... he was living in a world of darkness
Uncle Jack
@@killerseddie8295
Remember how Uncle Jack is obsessed with his hands?
"Your sexy hands"
The first 18 seconds of the video is me on the weekends
TheMrSwampert The next ten seconds is me before work in the mornings.
I'm living in a world of darkness.
TheMrSwampert careful not to cut yourself on all that edge
I'll never be able to get this music out of my head. I always start humming it and "aaaaaAAAAA"ing whenever I'm alone.
I’ve been listening to this since yesterday and I’m obsessed
I would love to have someone go on American Idol and sing this song!
Dang it! Something else in the bucket list. Now I just need someone who can sing, and silver spray paint.
My favorite scene in the entire show.
I literally watch this everyday
This was in my youtube wrapped as one of the most played tracks. That's just so sick lmao
"They left me in a world of darkness without your sexy hands and i miss you....sooo baaaaaaaddd"
I swear, no version of this song sounds better than this "inspiration" sequence.
People should just learn the D, C, F, and G chords and sing their own versions if they want it longer.
You're right, it really is the best version of the song.
This song is how I met my best friend in college. I just randomly said dayman and he started Dennis’s part and then we sang the whole thing. Years later we were each the best man in each others wedding Lolol
I'm guessing they weren't Lethal Weapon style. Amright?
That is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard.
Apparently they just made up the melody right on the spot when filming. Absolute geniuses.
The most pure and good moment not only of this series, but of all tv shows everywhere
jolly cooperation
+Zeronite Dayman is Solaire!
*Opens pack of Sunny D*
UnBR0k3enAngel *pours OJ on bullet wound from robbing convenience store for OJ*
Zeronite wouldn't have those if you just got giant dad armor...
*well, what is it*
+Zeronite praise it
This is one of the best scenes in this show!
Truly beautiful, no joke, one of the few times Dennis is sympathetic for a friend and Charlie was going through a hard time, and they knocked out a a JAM
The subtle little ordeal with the spraypaint during the song is what makes this scene, hilarious
I just can't find the words to accurately describe how fucking funny this show is, I love it to pieces, I can watch the same episodes over and over and still laugh
1:03 there you go the masterpiece awaits...
Years later and Dayman is still stuck in my head
This song is better than every song that was nominated for a Grammy
Very Bowie-inspired lol.
RIP
more like Tenacious D
I was thinking Flash Gordon, but Bowies a good one as well
Tenacious D wishes
It's so simple, yet so brilliant
Still come back to listen to it once in a while after all these years
I can't wait for this song to play at my wedding
Lmfaaao why?
MrSwadloon for your wife’s theme you have to do the night man song. When your bride enters play this lol. Nightman, sneaky and mean
Spider inside my dreams, I think I love you
You make me wanna cry
You make me wanna die
I love you, I love you
I love you, I love you
I love you, Nightman
Every night you come into my room
And pin me down with your strong arms
You pin me down and I try to fight you
You come inside me, you fill me up
And I become the Nightman-
[Verse 2]
It's just two men sharing the night
It might seem wrong but it's just right!
It's just two men sharing each other
It's just two men like loving brothers
One on top and one on bottom
One inside and one is out
One is screaming, he's so happy
The other's screaming a passionate shout
It's the Nightman
The feelings so wrong and right, man
They're feeling so wrong and right, man I can't fight you, man
When you come inside me
And pin me down with your strong hands
And I become The Night...
The passionly passionate Nightman
I live in South Korea and taught my students "The Nightmans Cometh a.k.a Dayman". Have a search for it. If there's one internet video you watch today, let this be it! You won't be disappointed. Thanks and long live the Dayman!!!!!!!!!!
Classic Matty Cole.
I will never forget my roommate in college seeing this for the first time. Dude was choking up, teary eyed, had to go to the restroom
The beginning with Charlie lamenting in a dank room and huffing paint is literally my entire artistic process to a T... always watch this when I'm feeling bad to laugh at myself
As the crowd is booing them off stage, they try to shout "but it's good!"
No sir, they're saying Boo-urns
Jason Twister Boo, Burns.
Jason Twister I came here to watch videos and have a chuckle or two, not laugh myself into cardiac arrest
I love the one guy in the background who encourages them and says "yay!"
Quicksilver1111
thought he said gay

+Jeesaf Oceanleft ur comment twas redundant
.
This is epic. I watched it many many years ago when it first came out and years later I think it is still one of the most iconic and funny scenes in comedy
its great how dennis sings "and friendship" in a different way than how it is in the actual song really makes this scene feel like a real life scenario.
