I find it rather interesting how in Undertale, you could perform "betrayal" kills where you killed enemies after ACTing with them, while Deltarune does the exact opposite: Spade King lowers the fun gang's guard, tricks Ralsei into healing him, and then HE'S the one who stabs everyone in the back. Toby truly gave US the pointy end of the knife this time.
It's kinda weird how this song is called "Gallery"... maybe it's meant to convey that Chaos King is showing off his "gallery" of defeated enemies to show you that victory is impossible?
Or maybe just the fact that you're in a sort of tunnel when you fight the King. Just a "gallery" away from the fountain. Either way, it's quite intimidating.
