Hey girl you don’t have to do protein shakes but you really gotta get your protein find protein sources that you like. And add some electrolytes to your water it will help so much. Good luck on your journey!!!
Hey ! Thank youuu so much for the tip - I’m definitely going to try to look into more protein sources to add into my diet . As well as electrolytes to add to my water . I truly appreciate the advice 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Do you feel irregular? As in are you slowed down? I want to start mounjaro SO BAD but I feel I need to make sure to get myself regular & keep things moving b4 I'll try either of these drugs because I'm worried about that giving me problems. Anyway good luck & no you sure AF don't look obese, so many of us dont yet we still qualify on that bmi chart!
So the best tips I have is eat your green veggies, take bioptimizers magnesium at night before bed, and a probiotic I just use the women's spring valley at Walmart. Keep stool softeners on hand sometimes I'll take one once a week. And I've had a little more now but just was bumped to 10mg this past Friday. So I just drank some sparkling celcius with some miralax lol. You gotta keep on it and don't let it get past you.
Hi 👋🏽 I haven’t felt irregular . Pretty much the same and it’s maybe because I eat a lot of veggies . I think if you do experience that - which I’ve seen some people have . I believe there’s ways to help with that . Definitely recommend just having a conversation with your doctor and expressing your main concerns with possibly taking the medicine. If you end up taking it good luck ❤ I would love to know . And thank you sooo much 🙏🏽
Great job!!! Strength training is good for the muscles and bones but cardio is excellent for cardiovascular health (heart health). I think a lot of us tend to go to extremes depending on what is trending on social media. At one point women only focused on cardio (extreme) and now a lot of us only focus on strength training another extreme. I’m not saying you are doing this sis but I just think we all need to learn a bit of balance in our health and fitness. Keep up the good job! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for the insight ❤ it’s so hard trying to find what works for you vs. what social media is saying 😩 definitely going to take your advice and try to find a balance between both .
Thank you !! I wish I would saw your comment earlier . I just picked up my second box . I stuck to doing 2.5 again because I was a little apprehensive going to 5.
I had to switch because my insurance stopped paying for it and I don’t have type 2 diabetes. Zepbound is approved for weightloss so after 3 mos, I went there! I lost 25 pds in two months on Mounjaro and didn’t gain anything back in between. Now I’m headed to 60 pounds - I’m on 7.5 of Zepbound.
Same! I struggled for 3 years never losing more than 10lbs and gaining it back. I changed my eating, excercise, my NEAT, tracked calories for years. I went threw 3 doctors and finally got my bloodwork taken. I have insulin resistance, high bp, high cholesterol, and pre diabetic my glucose was in the 200s. Ive been on MJ going on month 4. Down 25lbs. Definitely focus on the protein will help prevent muscle loss and hair loss. I take Lipo c shots with my injections weekly and that helps side effects and muscle/hair. I really focus on all proteins and veggies for preventing constipation. I put premier protein in my coffee and eat a quest smores bar before bed for extra proteins. Yes you don't really have any cravings or anything with appetite lol. I make the same things everyday. Turkey bacon, turkey burgers on a salad for lunch, I throw some protein in the crockpot add veggies and carb for the fam and I for dinners. I started strength training consistently going on 6 weeks now. I see a huge difference. I just walk and get my steps up easily with kids, chores, and teaching preschool!! 😅 Good luck on your journey!!🎉
Wow - thank you for sharing this ! My results came back and I have all of the same high BP , High cholesterol and pre- diabetes . I have never heard of the Lipo C shot but I am going to look into it . Although I don’t know you lol . I am super proud of you ! Congratulations on the weight loss and the commitment . I pray you continue to have the strength to stick it out and reach your weight goals and get everything down to a steady and healthy level . 🙏🏽♥️ rooting for you ! Thank you so much
Hi 👋🏽 I noted in my 3 week update what I’ve been able to eat . My diet consist of salmon , ground turkey, potatoes and lots of vegetables and fruit 😊. Protein intake should be high . I don’t eat red meat , but if you do - you can add that to your diet . Since being on the medicine I can’t eat dairy , chocolate or wheat products .
I’m so glad I came across this video. I’m going through the same thing. I’m about to get started on the medication
Super excited for you ! It’s definitely working for me I hope it does for you as well 🥰♥️

I’ve been doing roast bell peppers onions asparagus and add a protein roast on broil 10min
Hmm . Do you think adding beef while taking the medicine is a better source of protein than ground turkey and salmon ? I haven’t eaten beef in 1 year.
Omg PLEASE learn a little bit about carnivore. You 100% should eat beef!
