Some cook Dinuguan using only pork meat - no intestines, or liver especially for those who doesn't like taste or texture of liver and intestines'. But overall it is an acquired taste. Kudos though for Woo for trying it out even though it didn't sit well with his taste buds.
Dinuguan can vary from which province or city you are in Philippines, they have different styles in cooking it, some tastes sour and some put lots of coco milk and others don't put intestines or liver, just pork meat. There are many variants and some eat it with rice cake or puto and not with plain rice
I agree, with one of the comments. That this recipe (Dinuguan) have a very authentic distinctive taste so it depends on how good the chef is. But this really taste best when the chef added enough amount of chilli pepper to it,coz it really ups the taste of this delicacy. You can't get enough of it. It would be a rice killer!😁
I like it that he's honest and didn't fake it. Thank you for understanding and for granting your subscribers wish tho it's hard on your part. Salute! :)
Dinuguan is my first ever favorite dish.. I really love it especially when it's my father who cooked it. The dinuguan is much better with a little aroma and taste of vinegar.
Thats fine Woo. I’m a Filipino and Dinuguan doesn’t suit my taste too. Haha It is definitely an acquired taste. Good job for both facing your fears! 👏🏼
amazing how the groceries are inside glass cabinets...but for some time that is also how korean goods are displayed in the Philippines before, now, there are always korean products in groceries, there is always kimchi in the frozen food section....
Wow I watch this at 2am and it make me hungry.....nice one hooney you loved it...that's okay woo...dinuguan has a unique taste😊💕....dodo is present too❤
I really miss KOREA. Been there 3 yrs ago, wanna come back once we back to normal. Filipinos loved Korean food so much. We have lots of korean store here. Thank you for embracing our culture. We love you guys, im now supporting your channel ☺🇵🇭❤🇰🇷
That's alright Woo. Not all Filipino are fond of eating dinuguan. I did like it when I was young but since i got older i didnt like it anymore. At least you've tried so good job.! 👏 More power to both of you..🌹
I am a Filipino and I agree it does not taste as delicious as other Filipino delicacies but if you pair it with certain Filipino foods the dinuguan taste will become rich and tasty.
I admire your audacity and open-mindedness. Your culinary curiosity is quite interesting and refreshing and speaks volumes of your adventurous nature. You're quite honestly a delight to watch. A non-Filipino may need to have some guts to eat dinuguan.
This looks so weird for me.. as a Filipino working in Hong Kong I always used to stopover in Korean shops for pack noodles, kimchis, or whatever items that I could taste about Korea... but watching these two doing the same thing I did with the products from my country gives a sense of proud and appreciation.
Salivating me!! Love to see you eat Dinuguan... I certainly agree with some of the posts here that the taste and method of cooking varies from places to places. I come from the South (Mindanao) I remember by mom would add wine, lots of ginger and bay leaves to offset the bloody smell and she'll only use pork belly, no intestines! So happy to see you both try this rather peculiar dish which to this day I still have yet to convince my American husband and my daughter.
wow! so grateful that my request has been granted! i feel you woo ssi since i can't eat kimchi because of the smell and spiciness. at least you have tried 대박! 👏👏👍👍
Wow Hooney lee your the one who always making me hungry. because of the way you eat so yummmy...mmmm😋😋 thanks for loving our food..im not skipping ads to this video
Dinuguan is one best FILIPINO dish to me! sadly nowadays the price of Pork is getting increase so i skip this dish but yeah is sad i miss this to make my ulam in dinner while a rice
It's okay, Woo...not all Filipinos like or eat Dinuguan :-) It's a good thing Hooney liked it or else it would have gone to waste, and that would be so sad... good luck on your next vlogs! 💜u!!!
For French it's boudin noir ( it's like sausage) and eat it with mashed potato hehe We make dinuguan by using it , we just removed if from it's packaging and add vinegar then cook. So not only Pinoy eat blood. Haha
This was my childhood favorite dish. I liked it so much I ate almost everyday until I could no longer bear its taste. It took me more than ten or twenty years before I began eating it again.
Pls try TINOLA too. It's very good. It's chicken broth with ginger, green papaya and chili leaves. You will love the soup. It's best eaten while hot and with steamed rice. Pls use fish sauce (patis in Filipino) instead of salt for better taste. You may also put green pepper for added spice.
In korea their is a soup also that has blood in it , its a bit spicy but i like it much , thesame thing we used to create barbecue from blood here in philippines.
I'm very picky when it comes to dinuguan. There was an eatery who cooked it really deliciously and whenever my mom buys it, I eat tons of rice and it has only been the dinuguan that I liked. You have to try 'betamax', it's a blood bbq. I wouldn't even think of buying it before but I tried it once and men I tell you it is one of my favorite bbq now. It has to be well done, you know almost burnt and then dip it in vinegar or whatever sauce they have, oh my just thinking of it makes me salivate. See you on your next mukbang 😀
My pomeranian and I are watching your pom and you guys enjoy the dinuguan. Everyone seems to make variations of this dish. I don't add intestine or liver to my dinuguan. I usually make with lean pork and thin tripe. It's also better the 2nd day(leftovers) and great with kimchi and chili pepper as a side.
I don’t like liver taste too, but we have different dinuguan recipe in every region here in the Philippines. Woo should try it again when you go visit here.
dinuguan is very nice when we add young tamarind leaves.. we called that tinumis.. dinuguan also but a bit sour because of the tamarind.. u can enjoy that easily than the one u ate at the restaurant..
wow that is nice dinuguan is very delicious because of vinegar ingredient added , my nieces who grew up in california calls it pork chocolate.. the food is high in cholesterol bec of other ingredients. you are both amusing to taste our filipino food. suggestion next video how to learn english or filpino language , stay safe 🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏thank u guys !
You guys are brave to try it. I only eat the dinuguan that my dad makes. It's the Ilocano style, not soupy and he uses crispy pork belly and tamarind soup mix instead of vinegar.
Some cook Dinuguan using only pork meat - no intestines, or liver especially for those who doesn't like taste or texture of liver and intestines'. But overall it is an acquired taste. Kudos though for Woo for trying it out even though it didn't sit well with his taste buds.
Understandable!!! Even I only eat pure meat dinuguan.
I like it with pork meat n liver only😋
Dinuguan can vary from which province or city you are in Philippines, they have different styles in cooking it, some tastes sour and some put lots of coco milk and others don't put intestines or liver, just pork meat. There are many variants and some eat it with rice cake or puto and not with plain rice
Crispy dinuguan . Here in Isabela. . 💪💪
Yesss you got it right. ✔
Kinda surpised Hooney liked it, because the taste varies depending on how good the chef is. Ahh Woo 괜찮아, 괜찮아 😅
I agree!
😂
All food varies actually 🤣🤣🤣
They eat blood so they like it
This is so true. Not all Dinuguans are created (cooked) equal 😂

I’m Filipino yet it took me a while to get used to dinuguan growing up. Definitely an acquired taste.
You’re both brave enough to try Dinuguan. 👏👏👏👏👏
In Cebu we eat dinuguan with puso rice..or just regular rice..
Dinuguan is my first ever favorite dish.. I really love it especially when it's my father who cooked it. The dinuguan is much better with a little aroma and taste of vinegar.
i like the dry crispy dinuguan (ilocano style)
ilocano delicacy is good
I like it too. But it's okay if it's not that dry but the meat is crispy.
Yeah agbiag tayo
Thats fine Woo. I’m a Filipino and Dinuguan doesn’t suit my taste too. Haha It is definitely an acquired taste. Good job for both facing your fears! 👏🏼

It must be good to have a taste of home for the Filipinos there.
