Consistency I think is still one of the biggest challenges in AI tools today. You can try describing the characters as much as possible to get as close a consistency in Pika e.g. like orange hair girl, with a ponytail etc. Or another way I would like to do is to generate scenes in Midjourney and make the characters consistent before I animate. But scenes and character generation especially text to video is way better now!

No. It’s actually horrible. I use Midjourney, Dalle or SDXL for consistency. Pika labs just caused on uproar on discord. They released their subscription plan. 300 credits $0, 1000 credits $10, unlimited credits $60. 5 credits - 1 second it's pretty expensive. So if you want to try 3-4x per prompt its max 1 min video for 1000 credits 🚬💀
From what I know, it should still be free for now with the watermarks on the generation. They are giving out access at the moment so you can sign up at their webpage 👍🏻
We put control of movies and Music in control of corporations and government. Its soulless. At least with AI, the control is back in the hands of the individual who may disrupt the entertainment and possibly propaganda industry for it all to become a level playing field.
@@DevelopmentRobco What do you say about the many indie animations on RUclips that were made by at least 1 human or a group of friends who did the actual drawing and animation or modeled 3D characters, rigged them, make them move, and rendered. Stuff like "The Amazing Digital Circus (Glitch Studios + Gooseworks)", "Gwain Saga (GeoEXE)" "Spongebob Anime (Narmak Animations)", and smaller sketches like ASDF movies and reanimates of stuff like AzuManga Daioh, Shrek, and stuff like that? Those weren't AI Generated. What are you going to say about indie animators like JaidenAnimations and Sr.Pelo? Those were made by people who want to use their talents to make something good and with heart and soul. Not machine code that spits out something without heart and soul based on what a user types out.
Haha of course we still gotta put in the work, but it helps to cut down the time and resources required and will only continue to become better as time passes :)
Yeah we wouldn't be replaced, it's going to just be a tool to help us make be able to achieve more. Human creativity and direction will always still be needed :)

AI wouldn't replace animators, it would help to make the process easier for us to create more and focus on the things that matters :)

Rather have human made animations with heart and soul than binary machine code spit out a soul-less "animation".
Everything still requires human, AI just helped to make the technical process easier for everyone :)
