Thanks Steve. I've been to La Coruña a half dozen times (the two marinas near the Hercules lighthouse). I'll be sure to give the Sada marina a try the next time. Looks very good. Thanks for the tip. Fair winds.

hello your stigginess, here's a thought couldn't you use your slightly tainted but safe water to flush the toilet system??, lmao@ tropical storm Ophelia, it could only happen to you mate!! you should change your name to captain calamity lol, keep safe buddy
Ffs Steve stop pacing around when you're doing those "selfie"shots ! We love sharing your experiences but can do without the motion sickness.
Fair winds . ( Top marks for your swearing btw- The Malcolm Tucker of the seas! )
Steve, you're becoming cult viewing. I'm wondering about your take on safety, you're wearing a lifejacket with a hoodie, if you should fall off the boat then what? Just asking'.......
Hmmm....I try and remember to put the life jacket on when entering the cockpit on longer passages! It is also the connection point for the lifeline which is more use full i think! I have a PLB attached to the life jacket as well!
Not sure about the chances of survival if you go overboard and are not attached to the boat however! When a long way from land or away from normal shipping lanes help could be a very long time coming. Even if you are attached to the boat and wearing a life jacket it would be a hell of a job to get back on board as the boat would still be moving at possibly 5 or 6 knots. Many people i have spoken too think it would be impossible.
Probably the only way would be to make your way aft and broach the boat so it stops by influencing the wind vane rudder! so you could climb back on board!
