I’ve started following you since i just turned 23. And to anyone reading this comment. He’s right!! I’ve been grinding for about two months now. And if you put the work in now it pays off. I traded going out for going to the gym. I gave up the temporary fun for long nights in front of my laptop. I left fancy dinners for cheap dinners at home. It wont sound great but the benefits will come back for you.

Thanks for this. I'm a little over 40 and can promise there will be more than one period of down. Imagine life as peaks and valleys. Often the valleys get even harder as we age, because they are multi-layered. So important to prepare when young for good health, including mental health, so those valleys can be tackled when older. And NEVER claim victory over something like sobriety, etc. The universe could have a surprise in store if you claim victory. Peaks and valleys.

@@averagekxd-_-6218 I mean don't ever let yourself think you can't fall back down again if you're sober. Stay humble. One day at a time. Never claim that you "beat" it because there is no beating it.

I hear you. So many times I claimed victory over a couple of addictions and I have fallen too many times to the same pits(valleys) but one thing I have started doing now is to have accountability partners for my addictions and goals…
They help me stay focus but most importantly having a relationship with Jesus Christ has been the best decision I could have made to walk without condemnation even when I stumble or even fall because His grace is sufficient.

Today has shown me so many confirmation that I’m on the right track and it’s only the morning, I’ve been working on my business heavy for the past couple days and I see my friends on boats during the weekend and instead of having fomo I continue to stay focused. In this generation people always say “Spend the money, you’ll make it back” or “Treat yourself” when in reality no one can really afford anything they are doing, it’s a trap and that’s how most people stay broke. I sometimes don’t even wanna talk be around anyone I don’t have friends I go to work go to school even though I’m doing poorly at the time the semester is ending soon .. it’s crazy I’m in college but still don’t know what I wanna go in for and I have side things I’ve thought about doing real estate for example .. it’s like I’m stuck trying to find the path 😩🥲 I let 5 years go past like nothing …

Man that line hit me hard. “If you want long term success, be a loser for a little while.” I immediately had tears of pain but also of realization come out. Being 23 years old and going through a long bout of depression and bad habits I’ve been feeling like all I do is lose. My financials is all over the place, I’m behind in college, work, and I’m not mentally present in my personal life. I’m currently living my parents and I’m thankful that they’re understanding and allowing me to stay while I get on my feet. But I constantly feel ashamed for repeating my bad habits and remaining
comfortable in justifying my bad habits.
Your video hit me hard but I needed to hear this. I can’t be the change when I’m constantly choosing to remain the same. It’s hard to block out the noise (the partying and other instant gratification but if that what it takes then I’m willing to make the sacrifice and live the in the light that’s at the end of the tunnel.

I love the message because people don't understand how much going out and partying every weekend is really eating up the time they can be used to accomplish something. Keep doing your thing, your story is inspiring, we all need something to humble us.

This video just motivates me man! Life is to short to do something you hate! Why do something you hate when you can become the best at what you love!
And you may wonder, what do i really love?
You will find it time will tell🙏🏽

I needed that! It was God Sent! I am college athlete at Central State, and choosing to make that temporary sacrifice for the long term success can be lonely at times. I really needed this, I appreciate your content. Keep sharing these testimonies and blessings it is very impactful. 🖤🖤💪🏾

Proud of you bro and not surprised by your success. When you got called up to Varsity I could see you had a fire inside you and refusal to be average in not just football but anything you did. Not sure what led to your depression at UNT but job well done of being resilient to be the man The Most High created you to be 💪🏾✊🏾

Thank you for being authentic and sharing this. We all hit a wall in life sometimes and it’s natural to go into a dark place and give up, but that’s when you need to lift yourself and understand there’s more to life and structure/environment is fundamental.

Great video, I’m 24 & the past 5 years I’ve been miserable with not succeeding. That being said, I stuck with the good habits, exercising, reading, listening to the right people, etc & finally I’m in a great spot. Not getting comfortable though - must stay on the path!

Love for this - thank you for being vulnerable, open, and educational. It's through these life stories that many men, and people in general, can combat the external factors that change who we are, and takes us away from our goals. For men especially, it's easy to not be open, and real - thank you again!
