the entire philippines river sides should be free from all obstructions: housing "extensions"'; businesses warehouses; squatters...etc..etc. ..its shameful because foreigners comes in to this country for we Filipinos are the most hospitable in the whole world. foreign tourists are all coming in.. these riversides should be turned into linear parks for people, cyclists, joggers, lamp posts, refuge for birds, trees and wild animals sanctuaries not dumping ground for trash, animal manure; human sewages and processing plants polluted trash and sewages. where are the local government units, are they all sleeping in their jobs? people please be wiseful in the next coming elections. philippines cannot be a first world country with these types of corrupt behaviors. we have to wake up...we had become a laughing stock from the whole world. I really like the enthusiasm and effort to beautify Manila.
Pero napansin ko parang walang concrete general plan. Parang kahit ano nalang maisip. Pa-ibaiba at halo halo ang ichura. Mga lamp posts na ginamit pagkarami-rami na mukhang baduy overdone, yung design naman para kang nasa funeral ng Beauty and the Beast, yang arch Bridge tabinge, iba iba mga lamp posts.
KUNG BA GINAWA NILANG REFERENCE ANG MGA LUMANG PRE-WAR PICTURES NG MAYNILA EDI MAAYOS AT HINDI NA PAHULA-hula kung ano gagawin.
EWAN, Manila is turning into a Frankenstein. If you don’t know what I am talking about, it’s a story of how a robot was created from different parts and it came to life living aimlessly without an identity.

You keep mentioning water hyacinth that’s not too much of a problem, #1 problematic are the garbages plastic and such hence those stupid uneducated people. Another thing and I hope they should give colors on tiles, not just monotone (no life), Filipino are colorful nation and it’s people , as I can see on their fiestas, parade and so on. So why not give more colors on the esplanades, Pasig River will look more fascinating and beautiful. Thanks
It will be a regular route for people once it is connected to the bridges and pedestrian walkways.Brick stones,brick pavers,vigan tiles, terracotta tiles and red potted plants can be used for accent.
