It's because the catholic church is the only true body of christ. Jesus started this church with hia apostles. Everything was handed down its all on the bible that happens in the mass. All other churches are man made in 1530s or later by people who didnt understand something or agree cuz they don't understand so they branch off and start another denomination another church .
This epiphany blessing story brought tears to my eyes when I saw the image of his house surrounded by destruction.
There is a God, he loves us and sends us signs.
This reminds me of a Church in Malta, that still stands, that had a German Bomb dropped on it , during Sunday Mass WW2 , the Bomb went through the ceiling into the church full of Worshippers and hit the alter ( or very very near) and did Not go off!!! The bomb is still there in the church as a reminder of the Miracle that day!! ❤

Many years ago I went to Lourdes and brought water. One relative asked for some, which I mailed to her, she lives far away. I was taken back when she informed me she splashed the water in her house. I guess it CAN be used anyway people want, but I wouldn't ask for it to splash it on walls and floors

They told us the items we bring in our house we must blessed.I had once left a candle burning for 3 days in a candle holder in the shape of a house.i forgit it and went on a trip.I cry for days when i discover it.Joshua told the Israelites "As for me and my house i will serve the LORD GOD .I anointed my doors and windows.I have 3 crosses on my front door where i go in and out. In every room i have a cross.When people come to work in my house, i pray GOD send a Holy angels before them to inspect the road they shall travel to work ,or when i have an item to delivered to my home..Also my mailbox i anointed. Is inspiring. I did see a video of a traditional catholic young woman who was teaching on the brown scapular. Someone commented that her parents had a purple scapular and that their house had burned down. The lady who made the video admitted the same thing happened to her family but that God's Providence is mysterious. I was a bit taken aback. We have the purple scapular prominately displayed but I don't see it a talisman or bulletproof assurance. God's Will be done.
Not that you or anyone but them know, but was the scapular properly blessed by a priest? Without that, and without faith, it is little more than a pretty decoration. And yes, I know that is harsh, but it s what it is.

I lost my house to the fire on January 7 in the Palisades .I had a purple scapular hanging in my cross. House had the Divine Mercy, Blessed Mother in every room. As the fire continued we had to evacuate. My Mom is 101 and bedridden. I needed help . I went outside and everyone was gone. I then called my fire Department and they had nobody to help. I went back outside and saw two workmen across the street. I asked them to help and they said absolutely. I told them you are my Angels...That night the house burned down . I came back to the house this week and my friend found on what was our patio Two ceramic Angeles hiding in the flower bed. That was God giving me a wink I was there to help you with these two men. It was no coincidence finding the two Angels perfectly intact. I feel God wanted us out of there even though it was my home for 62 years. I miss it and the beautiful religious pictures , fresco of Blessed Mither and my Flora the Angel in the living room. God wanted something else for me and going forward 🙏

Ladies, you don’t need any other object to get protection. Prayers and the name of Jesus are our protection. I am a Catholic and I love The Almighty Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who are always here for me because I am a child of God. God is love and Jesus loves us because the Bible told us so ❤️
This is true but these are outward signs to increase faith for us who struggle to believe. It is a grace and not a necessity.

Ultimately, however, it is the faith of the individual and, of course, the will of God that truly protect us. Many homes belonging to faithful Catholics were burned down, and the same happened with other Catholic churches. Does this mean that they lacked faith, or that their blessed objects did not work? No-God allows these events to remind us of very important aspects of our faith that we may be forgetting, such as Jesus’ sacrifice as depicted in the Stations of the Cross, the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and the role of Mother Mary in our salvation. All this show the signs of the true religion. We also have to consider that It is through tragedies like these that people remember that all we have is unimportant if we do not have God. We have to pray for people to open their hearts and come back to the faith.
Revelations 18:19 "Alas the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth. In one hour she has been laid to waste." I believe we witnessed the fall of Babylon. There are consequences for all of our sins but God is always with us to rescue us and save us. With faith there is no explanation needed. Without faith there is no explanation possible. God brings us so many miracles in the midst of great suffering.

Yes I have that blessing written on both of my front and back doors ! And I have the benedictine Cross on both doors and the divine Mercy ! God told us he would protect us and our homes that did this ! I don’t live in California but have lived thru so many bad hurricanes for many years in Florida. And this last two were all around me and we have been spared.
In Ezekiel 40, the tabernacle is the holy of holies in God's temple in the new city where God will come to dwell with his beloved after a time, once the right sacrifices are done by the priests of Zadok's line. This is God affirming his present judgment and pointing to ultimate salvation if we turn to him and away from belief in our own strength.
God’s wrath is evident.

God allows things to happen. There's 100% of God there's no question I never ask that question bad things happen. It's written all through the Bible It's written through our history books It's written through the scrolls. It's written throughout our own lives. It's never about what happens to us It's what we do when things happen that matter It's always our next moves next decisions that matter most. We're allowed to have sorrows and to know where to take our sorrows at the foot of the cross where to rest are wearing hearts and minds in times of trouble. We individually look for God for the signs of what he would will for us to do and be in each of our situations. The Saints have given us guidelines but it is our own personal journey with the Holy Spirit and Jesus and Mother Mary Saints and angels.
The key is to ask and pray. I asked for God to be in my prayers so that I will know what it is I'm supposed to pray for.
Haven't listened yet, but believe in some of the miracles amidst the fires. I also believe God is speaking!

The trees that would and should have crushed and killed all of us… All of these Giant Trees looked like The hand of God gently laid them down sideways!!
