I've been wearing a brown Scapular for about 4 years. On June 11, 2022, my family and I visited Yellowstone Park for the day. It had been raining off and on throughout the day. We left the park for our homes in South Central Montana at about 5: pm, it's about 2 hour ride. We were on the road the is next Mammoth Hot Springs headed North. The rain was coming down hard. There were buffaloes running on the side of the road headed for higher ground. We eventually reached Gardiner Montana. The roads that were on collapsed and there were rock slides. We crossed the bridge over the Yellowstone River. Soon after we crossed the river took the bridge. It was devastating to watch when I reached my home. I know that God and The Blessed Mother were with us along with our Guardian Angels.

I was in Idaho near Montana when there was avalanche warnings and I was driving an icy mountains in February and I truly believe that the holy water I used and me saying the rosary in the mountains saved me when I was going through the lookout from Idaho to Montana I drove all the way to Indiana in the winter I truly believe under Mary’s protection! I’m so glad that you guys got over the bridge that’s devastating news what happened over there near Yellowstone
The scapular is a garment of Grace I too have been wearing one for many years and then in case you don't know you bury them I have a number of them buried in my backyard before I get a new one our lady is happy when we where her garment and don't forget the beautiful feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel this month
I would like to share, I always wear scapular of mount Carmel, for many years. I love them prayers, I've had 2 dreams testament to the power of the scapular. The first one I was in a old abandoned monastery, we have loads in Ireland. The dream I had, I was just in the middle of the monastery. Then as I looked to centre of the church. I saw the most hideous demon running towards me. With the most Evil look in its face I knew it wanted to devour me, with its arms outstretched as it reached me, it could not touch me, my scapular was floating around my neck. The power of our blessed mother. The 2nd dream, I was been held under water by a demon was trying to drown me. Our lady's hand came into the water and pulled me out, by my scapular. Praise God for the scapular 👏
I’m glad to find someone who had a similar experience. Many years ago I went to see a little shrine of a Virgin in Watsonville CA. A lady gave us some scapulars and kept them but never used them. Back then I was so lost and didn’t have the slightest clue about my religion. Since now I know the value of the sacramentals, medals and scapulars, I was happy to find them and put one on. That same night I was chased by this giant man, similar to the hulk except he wasn’t green and was so angry. He was destroying everything and ripping apart the doors. I remember hiding under a bed and being so scared and suddenly a calm male voice said, God is angry at you and that’s why he sent u a giant. I was conflicted for a while but some people gave me the advice to ignore it since the nightmare came from the enemy trying to discourage me wearing the scapular.
Brown cloth is a sign of Holy Mary 's great love for her Children. I refused to listen an inner nudge for many months and i kept saying to myself that I don't need to wear the brown scapular because i say a rosary daily as it was enough for me. I hanged this brown scapular on my bed for many months and i did not need to wear it... But Holy Mary had a different plan and she put it neatly on a bath mat when I was showering as i came out of the shower unit. I was stunned to see my brown scapular and it was impossible. From that experience, i decided it must be a signal grace that i should wear her brown cloth of love so i still wear it. Rosary and her brown cloth of love go together.
I was praying to St. Anthony to help me find golden earrings that my little daughter lost outside. After a week when I woke up in the morning I went down the stairs and they were neatly placed on the top of sofa in a living room - at the edge to be spotted immediately by anyone going down from upper level. I asked all family members after they woke up if they put those earrings on a sofa but they didn't!
Just to say, when Christine talks about the MAN on the ship who threw his scapula at the storm. I was told it was an Irish BOY, not an Irish man. The protestant Pastor and his family all converted to Catholicism after the miracle of the storm at sea which stopped instantly after the Scapula was thrown. Just one last wave of water came and washed the Scapula to the feet of the boy who threw it at the storm. A wonderful true story and miracle.
In 1998, a Carmelite priest prayed the investiture prayer over me and placed the Brown Scapular on me. A few months after, a priest from New York sent me a book on Consecration to Jesus through Mother Mary, free of charge. It was difficult to follow the St. Louie de Montfort formula. Yes!!! I just had an experience and having been fasting St Peter Chrysologus said you must add mercy. So I’ve been trying to practice prayer, fasting and mercy and fasting is nothing without mercy! Yes! I’ve been praying for my friend and unintentionally I when speaking to he i felt mercy. She was so receptive. It changed everything!
I had a similar experience with a ring a few years ago. My sister visited me one day and shoved me a video on youtube where someone recorded a scary like a skeleton looking creature lurking in some sewer underground tunnel here in US. As soon as that monster appeared on the screen, I felt a strong squeeze on my finger that had a silver ring wearing on. That ring suddenly changed a shape. Instead of a circle it was now a square shaped ring pressing very tightly around my finger. I had a hard time removing it. It was painful and I had to use a soap. I stopped that video and I never looked again at it or any other video with similar theme. Looks like these demons can enter our homes through screens like a portal.
I want to tell all. 2 years ago about 10pm I heard a ban on the roof followered by other small bangs inside the roof. I sat in in bed and looked out my bedroom door into the hall way. The hall light was on I thought I may have an electrical problem with yhe wires in the roof. Then a cloud of white smoke came from the ceiling into the hall way. The smoke then became pink. I stared out the bedroom door proved up in bed. I started to get out of bed. When I noticed there was standing in my doorway was a beautiful woman in a white dress with gold stars a red velvet Cape and a gold crown. She was very tall higher than my door way. She bent down took hold of her dress and long Cape and pulled it back. She said to me Would you be willing to dedicate your house to me for I will protect all the comes to it or dwells under my veil. She then showed me a what I can only describe as a mental picture of little children standing between her dress and her Cape peering out at me. I said Yes. She then said nothing and stared intensively at me. She said I came before and put beautiful flower perfume onto the air while you were swimming in your swimming pool. I came to you lounge when you were talking about my son your love for him. I come now to let you know I have heard you. I have come to show you you are much loved as I will protect you as it is also the will of my Son. She was the most beautiful woman I ever Sal her skin was flawless. Her clothes were flawless. She cam with a presence of deep love, true caring for me. I was stuned, shocked. When I think of her visits I can't help but have a cry. A person that lives in the Celestial realm deeply cares for me and comes and materialises in the flesh on earth to tell you they love you is beyond my comprehension. barbi Lorenzo, Respectfully and Lovingly, I believe The Brown Scapular is always a very important Sacramental because it was given to us by Our Blessed Mother herself with her specific awesome promise (never just a piece of cloth). Also I believe that it has provided my safety while returning to Reconciliation.
My sister had cancer and so I studied all the prayers to heal her. We had her for one extra year when she only had a few weeks. I prayed the rosary and as I was praying it my sister was filming my new fountain. In the video you can see Mother Mary praying with me as well as an angel. There’s also a male in which looks like a Saint. Just beautiful. I wear the scapula. I pray an hour a night plus the rosary. ❤️🙏 I know my sister Jina comes to pray with me now as well. God bless.
I wear my scapular but I also wear one for each of my adult children who won't believe at the moment! So I explained to Mama Mary why I was wearing them!also one for each of my grandchildren! I know it's a lot but I thought if we have baptism by desire! Why not wear a scapular by desire for each one!

I remind him to take it out of the drawer where he keeps it and to say the prayer on it at least once in a while. Meanwhile I say the prayer on it each day on his behalf until Our Lady has caused him to come back to the full faith.
My dad loved brown scapular. He died of Parkinson's last Aug. In hospice not able to wear it. I buried him with one of his many scapulars. I took one and it's mine now. But, what of the promise for him? In his near coma by morphine, he tried to say Hail Mary's with me right by his face. Mary has to know.
What do you mean by 'the promise for him", Jean? Do you mean was he protected without a scapular on? I don't have the official answer, but I'm sure he was well protected by our Blessed Mother at the time of his death. He was faithful to her and God. Someone like your father is not going to be abandoned and I'm sure that's when our Blessed Mother is even more protective. God love your Father. My suggestion is this: Each and every time you start obsessing about your neighbor (or anyone else) start blessing that person immediately. It doesn't matter that you don't mean the blessing right now, at this minute.. That will come. What matters is you are doing what Jesus told us to do, which is to bless our enemies and pray for those who treat you badly. By blessing whomever you are obsessing over, YOU will change little by little. The only person you have any control over is yourself (and let's be honest, even controlling ourselves can be difficult at times) so I urge you to bless your neighbor, pray for her and pray for peace in your heart which only comes from God. Please help me pray for my three daughters who despise me despite all the love, understanding and endless forgiveness I have been giving them. They also don't come to church anymore.
Each piece is a specified size, a total of 4 woolen pieces make up each scapular and each piece has a cross sewn onto it, then covered with another cloth. It is not just a piece of wool.
I have recently bought 3 St Benedict medals exorcised and blessed. Also a brown scapular. Immediately both times I put them down and they disappeared! Couldn’t find them. The first one disappeared completely but I actually did find the second and third together eventually after a lot of searching. I’m convinced the dark fella is hiding them. Scapular has gone too, immediately gone! It’s like they need a special locked box!
I've had quite a few sacramentals break and/or disappear recently. The cross on the Rosary blessed by Pope Francis fell off; An amethyst cross from Medjugorje that I was wearing broke in half; several crosses on other Rosaries have disappeared - on some it is just the body of Jesus that has fallen off; The cross and some beads from my Stanhope Rosary have disappeared and are nowhere to be found. I wore a blessed bracelet with Our Lady and the infant Jesus encased in 14k gold and that has disappeared from my wrist. My scapulars kept breaking, so I now have a couple in reserve. I'm not sure what to think other than it's the work of satan.
Years ago when I was visiting home mom says oh Pam you need to wear a scapular to my shame I'm like what is a scapular mom she tells me anyone that wears it will not go to hell I have always hated fire sense of very young child like four or five it scares me so much even till today but I'm not as bad as I used to be thank you Jesus ❤️ Well I put that scapular on so quick and I haven't taken it off since but the point is not to put it on because you're afraid of fire I put it on for fear of loosing home and my fear of losing Jesus and that's the most important thing you don't want to lose your faith it's such a precious gift God bless you all

Ask your church for when the Scapular mass blessing will be, do not miss it. I attach the Miraculous Medal and the St. Benedict - Medal with my brown Scapular. Do you have access to a sewing machine?. Get some heavy-duty brown broadcloth, double and hem it for each panel (they no longer has to be wool) and make your own "industrial strength" brown scapular which is easily washed by hand. It will last many years. I got two sets of shoestrings, one blue, one black, and made two heavy-duty scapulars with the small embroidered shields of the St Michael's scapular, which I sewed on each panel (~3" x4") of the brown scapulars. Then I used one blue and one black shoestring for the strings of the brown scapular, (I sandwiched each end of the shoelace between the two layers of cloth on each panel, then stitched the peremeter.) now combined with the scapular of St Michael. (St Michael is our family patron) I kept one and gave one to my mother. ✝

I'm very surprised you are not wearing your Scapular. You seem to be so about this and when you thought about taking yours out, it was obvious you didn't have one.
I wore a brown scapular for many years and I discerned a securlar Carmelite vocation. Although at the time I was learning about it, I remember being impressed by the many faith stories associated with it, I couldn't help but have some mixed feelings about it. I think many people wear it thinking of it as an amulet and that is incorrect. The power of the scapular is that we daily should be trying to put on the mind of Christ when we wear it and that throughout the day when you feel it, you lift your heart up to God. As physical beings, the physical reminder of the scapular helps. I sincerely, dislike the notion of doing any devotional with the thought that the heavenly court is making us promises. The heavenly court owes us nothing. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ; period. I love our Lady. She is our mother, but I dislike superstition.
Is wearing the Miraculous Medal the same as wearing the Brown Scapular? I was told years ago that it is. I need an answer. I have had the blessing years ago, I always wore it but after them all falling apart, I just started wearing the Medal.
William Cabell, They are two different beautiful Sacramentals. Put together you will have some very powerful protection. The brown scapular comes with a specific promise from Our Blessed Mother. Just buy like 10 at a time. When they break or you share one from time to time you still have some for when YOU need to replace the one you're wearing. Do not be without the brown scapular💞. My 36 year old daughter did die wearing The Brown Scapular, a medal of St Frances, and a medal of St Anthony of Padua.... This gives me great comfort daily.
I’ve made a tiny cotton pouch in which I insert one half of the brown scapular and it stays clean. The other half of the scapular stays hanging at my back. Every so often I swop them round so the one hanging at my back goes into the little drawstring pouch. It makes them last much longer.

@@isabellagallardo4415 The Carmelite Order (both branches) have given permission that it can simply be brown cloth. You have to be invested in it by a priest; but after the first one, you don't have to have successive ones blessed; you carry the blessing on you once invested, if you are wearing the cloth scapular (scapular medal)
May I ask whoever can help....I had my scapular blessed by the priest after mass...but he didn't mention anything about the confraternity, so the only 'procedure' I followed was having it blessed. So is my scapular still 'valid'? And second, is this confraternity something can join online?

There were buffaloes running on the side of the road headed for higher ground. We eventually reached Gardiner Montana. The roads that were on collapsed and there were rock slides. We crossed the bridge over the Yellowstone River. Soon after we crossed the river took the bridge. It was devastating to watch when I reached my home. I know that God and The Blessed Mother were with us along with our Guardian Angels.

I was in Idaho near Montana when there was avalanche warnings and I was driving an icy mountains in February and I truly believe that the holy water I used and me saying the rosary in the mountains saved me when I was going through the lookout from Idaho to Montana I drove all the way to Indiana in the winter I truly believe under Mary’s protection! I would like to share, I always wear scapular of mount Carmel, for many years. I love them prayers, I've had 2 dreams testament to the power of the scapular. The first one I was in a old abandoned monastery, we have loads in Ireland. The dream I had, I was just in the middle of the monastery. Then as I looked to centre of the church. I saw the most hideous demon running towards me. With the most Evil look in its face I knew it wanted to devour me, with its arms outstretched as it reached me, it could not touch me, my scapular was floating around my neck. The power of our blessed mother. The 2nd dream, I was been held under water by a demon was trying to drown me. Our lady's hand came into the water and pulled me out, by my scapular. Praise God for the scapular 👏

I’m glad to find someone who had a similar experience. Many years ago I went to see a little shrine of a Virgin in Watsonville CA. A lady gave us some scapulars and kept them but never used them. Back then I was so lost and didn’t have the slightest clue about my religion. Since now I know the value of the sacramentals, medals and scapulars, I was happy to find them and put one on. That same night I was chased by this giant man, similar to the hulk except he wasn’t green and was so angry. He was destroying everything and ripping apart the doors. I remember hiding under a bed and being so scared and suddenly a calm male voice said, God is angry at you and that’s why he sent u a giant. I was conflicted for a while but some people gave me the advice to ignore it since the nightmare came from the enemy trying to discourage me wearing the scapular.
I wish our priests would preach more about this.

I refused to listen an inner nudge for many months and i kept saying to myself that I don't need to wear the brown scapular because i say a rosary daily as it was enough for me.

But Holy Mary had a different plan and she put it neatly on a bath mat when I was showering as i came out of the shower unit.

I was praying to St. Anthony to help me find golden earrings that my little daughter lost outside. After a week when I woke up in the morning I went down the stairs and they were neatly placed on the top of sofa in a living room - at the edge to be spotted immediately by anyone going down from upper level. Yes!!! I just had an experience and having been fasting St Peter Chrysologus said you must add mercy. So I’ve been trying to practice prayer, fasting and mercy and fasting is nothing without mercy! Yes! I’ve been praying for my friend and unintentionally I when speaking to he i felt mercy. She was so receptive. It changed everything!

I had a similar experience with a ring a few years ago. My sister visited me one day and shoved me a video on youtube where someone recorded a scary like a skeleton looking creature lurking in some sewer underground tunnel here in US. As soon as that monster appeared on the screen, I felt a strong squeeze on my finger that had a silver ring wearing on. That ring suddenly changed a shape. Instead of a circle it was now a square shaped ring pressing very tightly around my finger. I had a hard time removing it. It was painful and I had to use a soap. I stopped that video and I never looked again at it or any other video with similar theme. Looks like these demons can enter our homes through screens like a portal.

I want to tell all. 2 years ago about 10pm I heard a ban on the roof followered by other small bangs inside the roof. I sat in in bed and looked out my bedroom door into the hall way. When I noticed there was standing in my doorway was a beautiful woman in a white dress with gold stars a red velvet Cape and a gold crown. She was very tall higher than my door way. She bent down took hold of her dress and long Cape and pulled it back. She said to me Would you be willing to dedicate your house to me for I will protect all the comes to it or dwells under my veil. She then showed me a what I can only describe as a mental picture of little children standing between her dress and her Cape peering out at me. I said Yes. She then said nothing and stared intensively at me. She said I came before and put beautiful flower perfume onto the air while you were swimming in your swimming pool. I came to you lounge when you were talking about my son your love for him. I come now to let you know I have heard you. I have come to show you you are much loved as I will protect you as it is also the will of my Son. She was the most beautiful woman I ever Sal her skin was flawless. Her clothes were flawless. She cam with a presence of deep love, true caring for me. I was stuned, shocked. When I think of her visits I can't help but have a cry. A person that lives in the Celestial realm deeply cares for me and comes and materialises in the flesh on earth to tell you they love you is beyond my comprehension. I believe The Brown Scapular is always a very important Sacramental because it was given to us by Our Blessed Mother herself with her specific awesome promise (never just a piece of cloth).
Also I believe that it has provided my safety while returning to Reconciliation.

My sister had cancer and so I studied all the prayers to heal her. We had her for one extra year when she only had a few weeks.
I prayed the rosary and as I was praying it my sister was filming my new fountain. In the video you can see Mother Mary praying with me as well as an angel. There’s also a male in which looks like a Saint. Just beautiful. I wear the scapula. I pray an hour a night plus the rosary. ❤️🙏 I know my sister Jina comes to pray with me now as well. God bless.

I remind him to take it out of the drawer where he keeps it and to say the prayer on it at least once in a while. My dad loved brown scapular. He died of Parkinson's last Aug. In hospice not able to wear it. I buried him with one of his many scapulars. I took one and it's mine now.
But, what of the promise for him?
In his near coma by morphine, he tried to say Hail Mary's with me right by his face.

What do you mean by 'the promise for him", Jean? Do you mean was he protected without a scapular on?
I don't have the official answer, but I'm sure he was well protected by our Blessed Mother at the time of his death. He was faithful to her and God. Someone like your father is not going to be abandoned and I'm sure that's when our Blessed Mother is even more protective.

I'm not Christine, but I read your comment and I hope to offer you a suggestion, if I may.
My suggestion is this:
Each and every time you start obsessing about your neighbor (or anyone else) start blessing that person immediately.
It doesn't matter that you don't mean the blessing right now, at this minute.. That will come. What matters is you are doing what Jesus told us to do, which is to bless our enemies and pray for those who treat you badly.
By blessing whomever you are obsessing over, YOU will change little by little. The only person you have any control over is yourself (and let's be honest, even controlling ourselves can be difficult at times) so I urge you to bless your neighbor, pray for her and pray for peace in your heart which only comes from God.
I also suggest you start praying the St Michael Prayer, if you aren't already.

Each piece is a specified size, a total of 4 woolen pieces make up each scapular and each piece has a cross sewn onto it, then covered with another cloth. It is not just a piece of wool.

I have recently bought 3 St Benedict medals exorcised and blessed. Also a brown scapular. Immediately both times I put them down and they disappeared! Couldn’t find them. The first one disappeared completely but I actually did find the second and third together eventually after a lot of searching. I’m convinced the dark fella is hiding them. Scapular has gone too, immediately gone! It’s like they need a special locked box!
I've had quite a few sacramentals break and/or disappear recently. The cross on the Rosary blessed by Pope Francis fell off; An amethyst cross from Medjugorje that I was wearing broke in half; several crosses on other Rosaries have disappeared - on some it is just the body of Jesus that has fallen off; The cross and some beads from my Stanhope Rosary have disappeared and are nowhere to be found. I wore a blessed bracelet with Our Lady and the infant Jesus encased in 14k gold and that has disappeared from my wrist. My scapulars kept breaking, so I now have a couple in reserve. I'm not sure what to think other than it's the work of satan.

Ask your church for when the Scapular mass blessing will be, do not miss it. I attach the Miraculous Medal and the St. Benedict - Medal with my brown Scapular. Do you have access to a sewing machine?. Get some heavy-duty brown broadcloth, double and hem it for each panel (they no longer has to be wool) and make your own "industrial strength" brown scapular which is easily washed by hand. It will last many years.
I got two sets of shoestrings, one blue, one black, and made two heavy-duty scapulars with the small embroidered shields of the St Michael's scapular, which I sewed on each panel (~3" x4") of the brown scapulars.
Then I used one blue and one black shoestring for the strings of the brown scapular, (I sandwiched each end of the shoelace between the two layers of cloth on each panel, then stitched the peremeter.) now combined with the scapular of St Michael. (St Michael is our family patron) I kept one and gave one to my mother. ✝

I'm very surprised you are not wearing your Scapular. You seem to be so about this and when you thought about taking yours out, it was obvious you didn't have one.
I wore a brown scapular for many years and I discerned a securlar Carmelite vocation. Although at the time I was learning about it, I remember being impressed by the many faith stories associated with it, I couldn't help but have some mixed feelings about it. I think many people wear it thinking of it as an amulet and that is incorrect. The power of the scapular is that we daily should be trying to put on the mind of Christ when we wear it and that throughout the day when you feel it, you lift your heart up to God. As physical beings, the physical reminder of the scapular helps. I sincerely, dislike the notion of doing any devotional with the thought that the heavenly court is making us promises. The heavenly court owes us nothing. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ; period. I love our Lady. She is our mother, but I dislike superstition.
Is wearing the Miraculous Medal the same as wearing the Brown Scapular? I was told years ago that it is. I need an answer. I have had the blessing years ago, I always wore it but after them all falling apart, I just started wearing the Medal.

They are two different beautiful Sacramentals. Put together you will have some very powerful protection. The brown scapular comes with a specific promise from Our Blessed Mother. Just buy like 10 at a time. When they break or you share one from time to time you still have some for when YOU need to replace the one you're wearing. Do not be without the brown scapular💞.

I’ve made a tiny cotton pouch in which I insert one half of the brown scapular and it stays clean. The other half of the scapular stays hanging at my back. Every so often I swop them round so the one hanging at my back goes into the little drawstring pouch. It makes them last much longer.

@@isabellagallardo4415 The Carmelite Order (both branches) have given permission that it can simply be brown cloth. You have to be invested in it by a priest; but after the first one, you don't have to have successive ones blessed; you carry the blessing on you once invested, if you are wearing the cloth scapular (scapular medal)
May I ask whoever can help....I had my scapular blessed by the priest after mass...but he didn't mention anything about the confraternity, so the only 'procedure' I followed was having it blessed. So is my scapular still 'valid'?
And second, is this confraternity something can join online?
