Absolutely amazing talent. If you've never seen Randy do Zeppelin you will not believe how talented he is. He can do Robert Plant & Jimmy Page rolled up into one! I grew up on Long Island (WBAB/WRCN) and had no idea he was not a native Islander. He would set up and play solos at Gosman's Dock and other venues and rock out all alone! Funny to see Guy with so much hair! Love FELIX! Guy & Randy!
Yeah! Zeppelin they played that really Good. .. Texas Club in Louisiana. .. They still pay from coast to coast but Now No live in Arizona so I am not able to see them anymore hell, I'm old now 55 ...I saw them for the first time when I was 16 years old i........ concert
I have to say the drummer is very talented, probably more so than 3/4 of all rock drummers. I think because the other 2 in the band are stand out musicians, that he gets overlook most of the time. I catch myself watching the drums the more i listen to them. I haven't got into them since my high school days. I graduated in 84. I'm glad i found them again. The mtv video of who's behind the door really grab my attention when i was smoking weed back then. It really blew my mind, LOL. Those high pitched vocals, loved them. Who cares if they sound like robert plant. They have their own songs. greta van susteran, I mean fleet, blatently make themselves like zeppelin, zebra started out as a zeppelin cover band and slowly moved away towards there own songs. g.v.fleece seem to move towards sounding like zep. Anyways g.v.f are still better than most of the crappy music force feed to the masses.
I remember, as a kid, finally learning the guitar part and being so excited. When high school came around and got together with a couple guys and we would jam this song. We only needed a singer and that never worked out. Randy Jackson is such a rare talent
What a underrated band. Love Zebra n the talent. Any newbie can come along n thrash a guitar n people think there great. To bring out so many different notes takes a master. Great music
Está Rolota de Zebra te prende de principio a Fin la Función del Rock con la Música Progresiva Osea Rock Progresivo que manera de tocar los tres que Voz la del Vocalista,El Baterista espectacular y esos teclados 💯%idea Musical.
Dream Theater did Zebra a huge favor covering this song. Zebra's second album is a little hard to love (outside of a few great songs), but I'd recommend their other 3 albums without reservation.
FROM WHAT I SEEN , FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN, JACK DOUGLAS MADE QUICK MONEY FROM ZEBRA, AND IF HE AND ATLANTIC WOULD HAVE PLAYED IT R9IGHT ZEBRAWOULD BE AT LEAST 10 TIMES BIGGER.
They were great and he had a good voice. I can't believe they are still.out there. And a more unbelievable thing is people pay to see them now. He has no power in his highs. It's a weak falsetto now
If you keep falsely acusing me of things that I am not guilty of, then I can arrange it to be true. I think that you are attempting to make me feel guilty, just to alleviate your own guilt.
No one and I mean no one can sing lead and play lead like Rik Emmett and Randy Jackson..... Go on think real hard of another musician ... You cant.....
well. the live show was boring. they shoulld of need couple more guys there to do whatever. audiences were like "?meh?, this one guy here? what is this early karaoke??".. they could of been huge with more people. Trio stuff was back in 60's, these guys missed it
Absolutely underrated band
AGREED !! GREAT Vocals form Randy !!
Love these guys... grew up with their music. 🤟🏻😎🤟🏻
I’ve been going to see them since they first got together & played the circuit in New Orleans! Glad they “made it big!” They’re in NY now!!
Not to me! I cut my rock & roll teeth on Zebra Sundays at the Mad Hatter .... what a time to be alive
Saw them live opening for REO... I was impressed, to say the least.
I was glad I got to see them play back in the 80s at Magic Mountain . Calif . ❤
The most underrated band of all time.
You can do better than this.
That would be Riot or Manilla Road. But Zebra are good.
Zebra was and will always be my favorite Band had some Really Great times at all there concerts...🎉
Damn, this takes me back. ❤🤘🤘🤘
Randy Jackson is a Jimmy Page and Robert Plant all rolled into one really amazing

I'm 55 and first saw Zebra live when they open up for the Kiss' Creatures of the Night tour in '82 or '83.

I love that song so much.
I dont have another lover, but I do have a fantasy lover.
I can imagine all kinds of things.
Its safer that way.
I still have their album! One of my favs! Yes, very underrated.

AGREED !!!!!
Actually the latest from GVF is molding into their own style, they are going the right way too. zebra is just amazing.
Guy Gelso is an outstanding drummer !!!
I remember watching this broadcast on Rock and Roll Tonite in '83.
Listen to Randy's talent..Amazing Guitarist!!!!!
I remember, as a kid, finally learning the guitar part and being so excited. When high school came around and got together with a couple guys and we would jam this song. We only needed a singer and that never worked out. Randy Jackson is such a rare talent
Best version of this song⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
7:20 such a cool lick and the fact he doesn't repeat it makes you want it more
Absolutely killer lick sounds kinda like a Randy Rhoads lick.
It represents Climax is reached, in the tune. Exquisite.
Cobra Kai will never die !!
What a underrated band. Love Zebra n the talent. Any newbie can come along n thrash a guitar n people think there great. To bring out so many different notes takes a master. Great music
Randy Jackson in his prime was like Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in one person. Amazing.
I love ZEBRA!
Está Rolota de Zebra te prende de principio a Fin la Función del Rock con la Música Progresiva Osea Rock Progresivo que manera de tocar los tres que Voz la del Vocalista,El Baterista espectacular y esos teclados 💯%idea Musical.
A great rock group thank you for sharing 😎💨😎😊😎💨❤️
Awesome piece of heavy progressive rock mastery!
What a voice! Splendid
Bat shit crazy how just three dudes create that tune
Masters! what an amazing voice
Thanks Dream Theater for getting me here
Amazing, love you, Zebra!
Louisiana boy with a range !!!
Randy Jackson is an amazing musician!
Thank God for the 1980s, and for Zebra!!! I don't remember if they toured much.,they would have been AWESOME to see in concert!!
In the 80s they played mostly on Long Island. We used to see them all the time at Sundance in bayshore
They also played live the gulf coast area where they were from(New Orleans, Houston) My husband bought their cassette and I was hooked!
I saw them all the time at Rockaway Club in Rockaway n. Y.
Randy just killing it ❤
wow just awesome!so glad you posted!hailing from chalmette,la-I'm metal Brian!zebra fan from "da parish"
What up Brian
What's up metal mike!?lol
Rockin out 🤘
I wonder if these guys realize their music changes lives for the better?
Fantastic!
F**ing AMAZING !!!
Most subdued crowd I've ever seen. Did they hand out Xanax at the door?
It's a TV studio crowd - not Zebra paying fans, but still, you're right lol
Shooting a video to a sublime song. Crowd was told to be quiet before video shoot began.
Well, to be fair it's not exactly dance/groove material. More chill-out than anything. And that ain't a bad thing at all.
Future Yelp critics. They were just mesmerized by the mastery.
Dream Theater got me here.
Dream Theater did Zebra a huge favor covering this song. Zebra's second album is a little hard to love (outside of a few great songs), but I'd recommend their other 3 albums without reservation.
The dream theater cover was amazing musically. But the vocals sucked compared to Randy
My God !!!!!! LOVE - LOVE - LOVE !!!!
Love this! 😍
Randy Jackson was/is an insane talent. Zebra could have been bigger, but Randy should have been huge somewhere.
FROM WHAT I SEEN , FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN, JACK DOUGLAS MADE QUICK MONEY FROM ZEBRA, AND IF HE AND ATLANTIC WOULD HAVE PLAYED IT R9IGHT ZEBRAWOULD BE AT LEAST 10 TIMES BIGGER.
Totally......seeing them in the N.Y clubs, back then ,was mind-blowing.
The righteous are bigger than this world. There is no greater achievement.
Totally. Seeing them growing up in L.I, I could nt believe how amazing Zebra performed. Huge .
Awesome!!!
guys.. love the band bt pls fix the audio... my left ear is lonely..
Who's playing bass?? Felix's left hand??
can't believe all this sound and 1 guitarist... oh wait...
Classic
TRES Cool
No left channel?
😊
Where is this From?
Reminds me of Al Stewart.
They were great and he had a good voice. I can't believe they are still.out there. And a more unbelievable thing is people pay to see them now. He has no power in his highs. It's a weak falsetto now
It's too bad the audio is garbage because the video rocks. I think I still prefer the Houston Summit 83' video.
They're like rush and triumph, but from the bestbank
Who came here from Dream Theater?
You have to admit DT’s version of this is awfully good.
I can appreciate how you feel.
But I never cheated on you.
I think I would know, if I had actually been with another man.
If you keep falsely acusing me of things that I am not guilty of, then I can arrange it to be true.
I think that you are attempting to make me feel guilty, just to alleviate your own guilt.
You are the one who's guilty of cheating, not me.
No one and I mean no one can sing lead and play lead like Rik Emmett and Randy Jackson..... Go on think real hard of another musician ... You cant.....
