When we use manual mode downshifting not required,,,automatically it will become down according to the rpm,,,,,But upshifting we have to do manually......Am I right madam???
I'm a doctor from tiruvalla, been using autimatic cars for past 10 yrs both diesel & petrol low and high end, If u are waiting in a signal OR traffic jam for more than a minute always put the gear from D mode to N and either press the brake OR pull the hand brake, don't keep applying the brake to prevent the car from going forward, u will save the brake pads especially front one's from getting worn out, no one tells u this but that is the truth, I've personal experience, One thing i forgot to mention is clutch wear out which is for sure, iam a person who doesnt clip and suddenly brakes sorry no clipping
How the brake pads worn out while you apply break on stops? It's just biting the rotors. You might have break often or hard , that made your pads easily worn out.
Normally We suggest to shift the Lever to Park, as in Neutral the vehicle may move, if the terrain is slope. and we may need to apply hand brake. Other than Brake Usage in Traffic - We should also focus on Acceleration, - always prefer to accelerate slowly, depending on the speed requirement, this will help in fuel efficiency. smooth gear shifts.

I own 2017 suzkuki ignis AMT pertrol model. Just done 32000 km.I faced alot of problems in this car and I replaced alot of electonic and mech parts like sensors and wheel bearing. Last 2 months before my car warrenty expired. Now i am facing some new issues related to transmission. These are the serious issues because vechicle shifting to neutral automatically and sometimes vechicle stops in gear and not moving. I enquired about this issues and get to know some of the new cars also have the same issues. I have to spend alot of money to rectify this nearly 15k.

@@nandukumar6224 Yes there is problem.. You will be confused and there will be a chance that u will mistakenly accelerate while braking with left leg...So not using left leg is better
But wouldn't using 2 legs be more useful in a slow moving traffic in upward slope instead of shifting right leg from brake to accelerator which might cause the car to move a bit backward?
@@tsnisanth if we use left leg to apply brake and right leg to apply accelerator, accidently we may apply both at the same time and the automatic system will get confused whether we would like to move the vehicle or stop it. Hence always use your right leg to apply brake and accelarator as we won't be able to apply both at the same time.

Hi Athira, oru correction. Vandi off cheyyumbo brake chavitti. Drivil allenkil reverse il ittu, parking brake pull cheythu off cheyyanam. Refer owners manual page num 3-25. Neutral il ittu off cheythu drive il idunnathu nallathalla. Anyways, Nalla video aayirunnu.

I own 2017 suzkuki ignis AMT pertrol model. Just done 32000 km.I faced alot of problems in this car and I replaced alot of electonic and mech parts like sensors and wheel bearing. Last 2 months before my car warrenty expired. Now i am facing some new issues related to transmission. These are the serious issues because vechicle shifting to neutral automatically and sometimes vechicle stops in gear and not moving. I enquired about this issues and get to know some of the new cars also have the same issues. I have to spend alot of money to rectify this nearly 15k.

@@nandukumar6224 Yes there is problem.. You will be confused and there will be a chance that u will mistakenly accelerate while braking with left leg...So not using left leg is better
But wouldn't using 2 legs be more useful in a slow moving traffic in upward slope instead of shifting right leg from brake to accelerator which might cause the car to move a bit backward?
@@tsnisanth if we use left leg to apply brake and right leg to apply accelerator, accidently we may apply both at the same time and the automatic system will get confused whether we would like to move the vehicle or stop it. Hence always use your right leg to apply brake and accelarator as we won't be able to apply both at the same time.
