OK! Those were Masterclass lessons. I so appreciate her authenticity and her boldness - her courage. And yeah, she really does embody the best parts of what her character, Shug brought to the table. She is the older and wiser Shug having seen the world and learned the lessons. I’m so glad she is having this moment and season in her career. Now I can’t wait for her next performance / lesson :)

Wow, it's crazy that I read the color purple years ago, and I was confused about reading it mainly because of the format. I've seen the first movie and was like I get it more now. But seeing these interviews makes me understand more, and I can't wait to see it. Proud of these women, I love seeing them on screens.

These beautiful black women are all phenomenal and their words of wisdom are priceless. Collectively, they demonstrate how Queens operate with beauty and grace while supporting one another. Individually, they reveal themselves as the beautiful souls that each of them are. Danielle spoke spiritual truth. We must learn to “trust the process.” Taraji is the GOAT and we LOVE you, T, and all of your edginess 😂. Taraji’s reflection on Sug’s story was on point; there is always a root cause underneath the surface of every story. Fantasia is such an inspiration. I’m glad she is so open and willing to share her testimony to bless others. This is why God is elevating her even higher. May God continue to bless each of throughout your journey. 🙏🏾❤️
