This guy must have a few different channels. I've seen this same watch restored, about 5 times already. Fix it, toss it back in the dump. Come back in a year, & "find" it again. Lather, rinse, repeat!!
OMG! This is more fake than the ones where they restore Nintendo Gameboys, that coincidentally are also found in a dump. It's even the same formula, some dude wanders around a dump with a stick poking at things, finds an object to restore, takes said object back to their work area where they proceed to use medieval torture devices to disassemble and clean said object and restore it to something like pristine condition. If it were true, it would be truly amazing, but if one looks at the videos, including this one, it looks like that final assembly was actually filmed by disassembling the object, re-assembling it, and then causing the damage seen at the beginning of the video. The video sequences are then just swapped around to put the re-assembly at the end instead of the beginning. Nothing was actually fixed, it's just a trick of sequencing the video clips in the right order. I do actual watch restorations, and not only does this dude have terrible tools, he's not even working on a real Rolex. For that matter, it's not even a "super clone", it's just a cheap copy The giveaway to this part is the plastic movement retention ring. The day Rolex puts a part like that in the cheapest model they make will be the day that earth comes to an end. As for the video re-sequencing, look at the dial. The unspeakable things done to the dial during "cleaning" left marks that are suspiciously absent in the final shots of the "re-assembled" watch. Radial sunburst fume dials shouldn't be touched, let alone scrubbed. Restoring one is a nearly surgical procedure that takes ages and isn't carried out in a discarded tin can with a bit of water and a paint brush. Let's not even talk about the snap-on case back, Rolex case backs screw down, and require a special tool to loosen. Lastly, there is the matter of the bracelet. The least expensive authentic Rolex bracelets I can think of are generally valued at several thousand dollars. Even one with extensive damage would be taken apart and cleaned painstakingly. The bracelet and the case, being solid bits of metal can be buffed and re-surfaced by skilled technicians. If a link was damaged beyond repair it would be replaced. The pins and screws would just be replaced as a matter of course, they're essentially disposable. But the links would be treated like gold, if for no other reason than their salability to other restoration specialists in need of replacements. Parted out the bracelet might well be worth more than it's value whole. No one in their right mind would just bin an authentic Rolex bracelet like that. This is just a sham and a hoax. If you want to see what real watch restoration looks like there are numerous reputable creators on this and other platforms who do amazing work, go find one of them
Take a fake Rolex for a couple bucks. Make a clip of it as "restored". Destroy it, rub it in the mud and toss it in the dump. Take it apart on camera and edit the clip. Sounds about right.
I mean I was just frolicking through the forrest and came across an abandon 1955 corvette. the police said, the corvette wasn't abandoned, and I was actually at the corvette museum.
I love watching these just for the laugh! Snap back Rolex with a plastic movement holder. Hmmmm I love his MULTI tool aka his hammer for inserting the crystal and putting on the case back! This guy has precision tools!
Didn’t know stainless steel could rust like that, I like the way he used that specialised tapometer tool to press the caseback in, true professional, must get his details so he can service my Patek Phillipe 😂
That's nothing, every time I go to the dump. I always leave with 4 or 5 pounds of pure gold bars, platinum bars and silver bars. I don't even bother picking up the old Rolex I see laying around, the gold bars are much easier to process and then to fix an old Rolex.
@@-DarkFox- Well then he is an expert at aging watches. It's a 30 minute video and he's showing quite a lot of steps . Maybe he should get some kind of award for creating a realistic watch prop stunt-double.
It's filmed out of order. The finished watch clip is filmed first. Then it's dirtied up and he's shown cleaning it. Not even a real Rolex. These knock off copies cost about £10
in first 3 minutes I was like "ohh really?" then in 27 minutes he puts plastic thing in the movement.... HELL NO HAHAHA!! but this video worth 400k views! nice one.
I didn't know Rolex made open heart wrist watches and see trough backs. Also, the casings are screw backs not clasps types. Must be a Chinese knock-off.
its cool to see him transform these watches back to beautiful condition, but pretty sure that its a fake watch lol just the fact that he can take it apart with all those tiny little pieces means he does have some knowledge...but it cant be real
Wrong they have a screw on back you remove to begin the process of removing the movement. Having sold and serviced them for many years I’m sure I’m correct.
Apparently watch repairers say these videos are filmed backwards so basically they take a new obviously fake watch take it apart and then edit and run video so it appears they have restored it .which is certainly more believable considering the way the do I half assed hack job
The Cellini is the only division of Rolex that makes Quartz watches. Also the one that's seen in this video is a fake as well. Rolex doesn't make anything like this model where you can see the mechanism through the dial. There's no way that these pieces of trash can come close to $20.00 let alone $1,000,000.00
This was $ 25 from a guy on the street that sold them inside his over coat, "Pssst, hey buddy wanna buy a watch?" No plastic in a Rolex, it's may a grade 4 Chinese Folex knock off.
Where do I begin? Already mentioned: no ultrasound cleaner unless off screen. No oil, grease, or new stuff. Never been able to restore dial with a brush. Never used a hand held power rotary tool on case. Or hammer a Rolex case together. Glass back, don’t think so. And one last thing, how many balance wheels and hair springs can survive brushing with a brush like that. Find a staff that is hard enough to withstand that abuse. It was entertaining and sowed or demonstrated how not to store one and have it work.
This is most probably one of those almost identically looking “Lollex products” from China. To be able to make such fake products requires a quite sophisticated production even though it is not the real thing. What lacks is Precision. The Chinese can definitely reach the highest level of precision and quality given time.
This guy must be shearing sheep in the summer and painting sun clocks the rest of the year! Sandpapers, bristle brushes and rotary tools on a delicate presicion watch? A sonic cleaner is the only aparatus this should be handled with yet it would still not work right with all the crud etching their prınt on the bearings, shafts and springs. Total waste of time. Timex is the way to go.
I love how he walked a few random places real quick before returning to exactly where he planted the watches. Too funny 😂😂😂
If that's a million pound Rolex watch I'm James bond 😮😮😮😮
i am double oh eight swiftty sword james bond is so yesterday i am the flash pow hear and now💂♂💂♀💂
mishhh moneypenny??
One million dollars for a Rolex???? Such an animal does not exist.
Paul Newman's Rolex Daytona went for over $17 million.

Every time I go to dumpsite. I always found few kilo's of Uranium 235 & sometimes even Plutonium
I once found the remains of Jimmy Hoffa,
😂😂😂😂👍
😂😂😂😂😂
😂
First give away that this is bullshit: You can't open an oyster rolex with a case knife. The back is screwed on.
This is true. A tool is required to properly remove the back by unscrewing
@@tommydaniels4711 was definetely a tool that planted the fake crap :) :)
You mean he might not get $1 million for it?
His tools are rusty
First hint is that you don't find a million dollar Rolex on a garbage place, especially when you look for one ...

If that crap Is a Rolex, my car Is a Lambo
It's a Rorex
...and my car Is effecly a Lambo
That's not a normal rolex. It's a $1 million Rolex. So it's a little bit different I think.
FAKE ROLEX, WITH A PLASTIC SECURITY RING!!
Right! Lol
😝
Yup very true.. and the other rusted watch fake allso..as rolex never did a see through back
You all watched and commented anyway. Lots of views, lots of dollars: no fake
Absolutely fake one and really bad quality one ! 20€ in Turquie! 🇹🇷
Take a fake Rolex for a couple bucks. Make a clip of it as "restored". Destroy it, rub it in the mud and toss it in the dump. Take it apart on camera and edit the clip. Sounds about right.
Wow what a great job repairing👍🏻⌚️
There's not ONE THING "Rolex" about either of those watches. Million dollar my ASS
🤣 - Exactly right!
What’s next? Finding a watch on the Moon?
Hey! I've got a moonwatch! What gives??
In what currency should the 1 dollar scrap be worth 1 million?
Well, thats 12 minutes i can never get back..
🤣
🤣
I'd like to know how a stainless steel watch and band rust?
Beautiful work done
I mean I was just frolicking through the forrest and came across an abandon 1955 corvette. the police said, the corvette wasn't abandoned, and I was actually at the corvette museum.
This guy is really lucky, he manages to find a priceless Role every week.
yeah right like someone is going to chuck away a 1 million rolex
🤣 - Exactly!
Congratulations, you did $1000 worth of work on a $25 fake Rolex. Brilliant!
this time he found 2! I absolutely have to find that landfill!
not a Rolex and not a million .... great job cleaning up that junk though ... very impressive!
價值一百萬的勞力士,機心還有塑膠外圈?
Amazing job! Real or not who cares! How on earth did you know how to put that back together!
Rolex with a front face complication?
I love watching these just for the laugh! Snap back Rolex with a plastic movement holder. Hmmmm
I love his MULTI tool aka his hammer for inserting the crystal and putting on the case back! This guy has precision tools!
I can’t do $1M but would you consider $500K?
Nice job, but i preferred it before, never take the patina away 😉

That movement even has invisible jewels in addition to being installed upside-down.
May be million Lira or Peso?
I’m going to walk through the garbage tip to see if I can find a Rolex. Oh great I found several.
This is an egg roll X?
Get the proper tools.

Not even a real Rolex. These knock off copies cost about £10
Did you get it from Mike the Pillow guy?
From the initial scene in the dumpster you can already say that this is 100% legit
Slippin Jimmy and Marco dropped that one.
bravissimo, ottimo restauro

nice, he found those fake watches exactly where he left them before starting to film. That proves that he has good memory...
Каким образом дорогие часы могут попасть на свалку, в нищей деревне ? ( подсказка : никаким )😁
Significantly different than "Wristwatch Revival".
I wonder what Marshall would say about this?
What was the name of the channel again? Fake restorations?
This is when a $100 Rolex is refurbished for $200.
Trokexs don't cost a million unless it's diamond encrusted
I have found loads on dump jewelery, silver, but it's good how he cleans it even if it is fake

One million Zimbabwe dollars?
Your bangin that million Dollar Rolex like it’s a fake one lol
cavolo, devo farmi una passeggiata in quella discarica... 🙂

Great «Rolex»!!
Sowas aber auch. Auf unserer Müllkippe liegen immer nur Breitlings und Glashütte herum. Da bücke ich mich ja nicht mal.

He should have looked more closely in the rubbish. I saw a fake box and papers for the fake watch he had previously put there.
Amazing to see
Rolex watch can not open on back size of watch need to open from front with special tools
Wrong they have a screw on back you remove to begin the process of removing the movement. Having sold and serviced them for many years I’m sure I’m correct.
Screw back. I have one.
HI Guys , Nobody will find 1 one millionDollar rolex in the bush. But of course, this a nice restauration of a dirty rusty watch

Where is this guy's shop?? Sounds like he's working on the street. Dogs, traffic noise, etc.
A million dollar Rolex doesn’t rust. 😂
1 million dollars and you hit it with a hammer, i dropped the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and its dented, can you fix it?

I reckon that was a setup? Why are you using a rusty file. I thought you were a watch restorer. I would not use a rusty anything on a valuable watch.
