1.Hinduism have never had the Concept and process of conversion , You won't find any context of Conversion in Geeta

      Right ?
Let me remind you they are willing invited by the western people, and i'm pretty sure that western people are reasonable educated. Gurus in western countries never convince, manipulate or take advantage of their situation and try them to bribe and convert them into Hinduism. Hinduism never Values conversion or have any agenda to convert the Globe into their religion. Just for instance state of Goa went into Mass Conversion into Christianity in Year 1555. 2nd mass conversion during Portuguese rule in Goa state.

He Never intended to spread Hinduism in western countries. And Today's Sadguru is invited by UN and other western countries willingly and he does not manipulate or convince people to accept his religion. he talks about the ideas. and i"m pretty sure in Western Countries people have substantial per ca pita income and education than in India and yet they attend this old man's lecture.
      2. You might have heard of Dr J Robert Oppenheimer who invented Nuclear Bomb for US during World War, He himself stated that he use to read Bhagwat Gita during his college days, at times where no Hindu guru went there to even talk about Hinduism.
Alfred Ford Grandson of Henry Ford asked Prabhupad to tech him Bhagwat Gita. I'm sure the Utlra Richest person of USA asked him to teach Gita. I'm sure the Ford family did't had any Financial circumstances
      3. Why Hindus are not privileged today ?
Just because they believe in Law Of Karma and Peace. This principle outcome allowed Islamic invades and British to loot the Golden Bird. but it's sad for today's Indian youth they are not taught all this in school and follow so called secularism

As a goan of this Era and generation, I can't much tell about the Portuguese rule, my grandmother is only of my grand elders who is oldest among the alive ones, said this to me, when I asked her about it, she was a teenager when the Portuguese left, so couldn't tell much, only thing she expressed that, the Portuguese commander(the head goa) would never show up mostly, only would stay in his palace like place and dress up like he is big deal, she said that she hadn't been troubled in her years of Portuguese, and she said that Portuguese were mostly busy keeping their eyes on sea(due to fact Ig thy wanted to control Arabian sea),
as far as our history book(a separate history book just for Portuguese rule) are just the size of a school handbook, they just hv 20 pages, my dad once said to me that, their history book on the topic, had way more pages, when my dad compared his knowledge to the current book, he said the current book only shows, how Portuguese took over, what they acquired and some of their harsh treatments, the current bk doesn't contain references to the good reforms or the stuff introduced in goa, which is used by whole India,
Bjp has seriously altered the bks in goa, when I compared my bk to my younger siblings,it has become even more worse,it shows even more about how Hindus were tormented, and how catholics and Muslims were wrong, most of which they doesn't show that there were catholic freedom fighters in goa or the ruler before Portuguese was a sultan, it's as if they want to put dispute between religions in goa now
Only thing as a current generation goan I can say is, I care less about past, can't total hate the Portuguese as there as things which they introduced that dominates many lives in India like the food ingredients potatoes, tomatoes, cashew, Chilli pepper and guava etc and many of the dishes which I love are heavily influenced by them.

Surprisingly most Goans, Hindus and Christian are terribly nostalgic about the Portuguese. Their social laws are much praised. Any Goan for upto 3 generations can go to Portugal and live as a Portuguese citizen. Also, Goans regardless of religion are terribly nostalgic about the Portuguese is a false premise, as the Portuguese had stopped the inquisition by 18th century, so there's no alive witness today.

Sad to see this country is still (after the British left) divided by the religious leaders. Most of the comments are either from jealousy or zero mentality people. Have we ever thought about why we're like this? We say Goa is part of India "YES" but then why do we always play religion's card? We say the Portuguese came here and ruled Goa but have you ever thought about which empire allowed them to enter Goa and why they were so kind to the Portuguese?.
North East (7 sister states) is a part of India, but then why do we abuse our people? Why are we still not ready to accept them as our people?
We say J&K it's a part of India "YES" but then why do we see them in different ways?
We say we're Indian then why such a divide and rule stuff?
Everyone respects their religion and state's same as everyone. Many people are talking about the HISTORY, does anybody knows what is on 2nd October apart from Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti? (I know Google tells everything but at least don't lie).
Last, maybe I am not good at English because English is not my first language and neither I am a Britisher. We have accepted English as our language instead of our mother tongue or national language, same as this vlogger and we're talking about the BHAKT and then that.

The reason for hate among religions is that Religions like Christianity and Islam seek to get converts by unethical means, though there are some places where it happens in a proper and good way. Hindus, ignore their culture and History books distort history by making Hinduism look bad and lame and hence that adds to fuelling of unethical conversion practices. If you want, just go ask a random Hindu to recite a shloka and explain the meaning. I bet 75% of them would either give wrong meaning or won't know. Most of them don't have a reason to follow Hinduism. If you ask them why they do what they do, most of can't give an answer because they've just been following their parents blindly, and Hindu scriptures don't recommend blind faith. Plus, Religions like Christianity and Islam keep condemning followers of others religions to hell and portray each other as bad people and thus fuel hate. It happens even among the many divisions of these religions. Because of what these two religions have been doing, Hindus have felt insecure in the modern day and are reacting to it. They are trying to understand their culture and stop unethical conversions. Some uninformed Hindus resort to violence, which is bad, which is seen as oppression of minorities. As according to me, even Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism are facing a similar situation but they don't have any people turning violent and committing such acts as they don't feel such insecurity as they know their faith really well. I support these religions as they don't spread hate at all, like Hinduism. You will notice that the tensions are between Islam, Christianity and its branches and Hinduism, and Hinduism is like a huge and easy target for these foreign religions which seek to erase Indian culture. No spreading hate, but I once sought to find a solution and found out that Christianity and Islam have a goal to eradicate all other religions and make their religion the sole religion on earth. That has been embedded in the definition of their faith and so inter-faith peace is not possible as long this exists. Even the so called secularism you see in the followers of these religions is fake. Outside, they be like all religions are equal, but in their churches and mosques, they'll fund illegal activities to get converts. I've seen it myself, no allegation here. I'm not in favour of people hating people of other religions, I'm just presenting reality.

@Crusader Vlogs - ⚔ കുരിശ് പോരാളി ⚔ My ancestors were converted to Catholic Christianity by Portuguese missionaries. They welcomed christrianity with open arms and practiced christrianity with a lot of Hindu customs. Later came the Portuguese colonialists with the command from the Portuguese crown to discipline these wayward Christians. They introduced the Inquisition for these Christians which later also took in Hindus. My ancestors, allegedly fled from Goa to somewhere in South Canara ruled by bednore Dynasty where the religious restrictions weren't so tight. Later came Haider Ali, whose rule was fair enough. After the death of Haider Ali and loosing Mysore to the British came Tipu Sultan who retook Mysore and blamed the loss all on Hindus and Christians and blamed them to be helping the British. As a form of punishment, he captured all Christians and Hindus from different places under him, and tortured the people who weren't ready to convert to Islam. Some did, some didn't. And those who didn't were sent to Seringapatanam, bare foot, marching from his palace in Mysore to be tortured further, the Christians there were kept for 20 years and later freed after the death of Tipu Sultan.
I'm not mad at appreciators of Tipu Sultan or traumatised about my past. I'm just saying that it shouldn't be repeated to anyone not only to us.

You know, you really shouldn't say that the locals didn't like Christianity. They were probably forcefully converted, but they didn't reconvert to Hinduism, when Marathas invaded of even Goa was liberated. Sadly, the Goan culture is being greatly diluted and destroyed by BJP government. When I went to fontainhas street in Goa, I saw an OM sign on an old heritage building. I am not against OM sign, put you could have put on a newer building, not a heritage building. Ironically, Goa is being destroyed by India, not liberated. The Goa Inquisition killed 100 people in 300 years, according to Wikipedia. Does not seem like a very oppressive thing.
Also, in the conquest of Goa wikipedia file: "people of different religious communities were allowed to live by their laws under representatives of their respective communities. Exception was made to the practice of sati [Widow sacrifice] however, which was promptly abolished. Certain taxes due to the Adil Shah of Bijapur were also abolished."
"At Goa, Albuquerque instituted an orphan's fund and opened a hospital, the Hospital Real de Goa, modelled after the grand Hospital Real de Todos os Santos in Lisbon.[62] Also at Goa were built smaller hospitals run by the city's charity, the Misericórdia, dedicated to serving the poor and the natives."
"Arguably, what became Albuquerque's most iconic policy was that of encouraging his men to take local wives and settle in the city, granting them land confiscated from the evicted Muslims and a dowry provided by the state.[63] Native women were legally allowed property rights for the first time.[64] Albuquerque's generous policy was, however, not without controversy among high-ranking Portuguese officials and clergy. Nonetheless[...]"
"As a whole, Albuquerque's policies proved immensely popular amongst his soldiers as well as the local population, especially his characteristically strict observance of justice.[65] When Albuquerque died in sight of Goa in 1515, even the Hindu natives of Goa mourned his passing alongside the Portuguese."
"In 1526 King John III granted the city of Goa and its town hall the same legal status as Lisbon, in a foral in which the general laws and privileges of the city, its town hall, and the local Hindu community were detailed - especially important since at the time the native laws of Goa were still not written, instead being handled by councils of elders or religious judges and passed down orally (thus prone to abuses)."
Not so strict, huh? Also, show sources for that supposed attack of Portuguese to Indian sailors, please...

You are trying to to create a divide amongs the Catholic Portuguese people here in Goa even though you are trying to convey something. In the later 250 years they were a more better colonised government that that of the British in India. My grandfather told me the great stories about how all Hindus and Christians lived in the harmony during his time. You guys from other parts of India should be happy that get to see such such culture in Goa that the Portuguese have left. Goa is known for its religious tolerence amongst its communities. You spreading hate is the same example how the present nationalist goverment is trying to create divide between religion. We Goans are and will be proud of our heritage. Even the original Hindus mostly Dessai and Naik from Goa can apply for Portuguese passport like how we Christians do and you are trying to talk ancient facts to create hatred. I'm really disappointed to find this video, which is yet again dividing the country by religion. I have unsubed because of this comment section and this video causing this hate. Breaks my heart to see religion trumps humanity and decency. A lot of people here are overlooking the fact that we are all Indians at the end of the day and we can have diverse cultures and respect every religion. Secularism is only for the books. It's saddening! Every colony suffered initially. The British were the worst throughout. Im glad Goa was colonized by the Portuguese instead, not being rude here I only mean we suffered less. Also, people in Goa never starved once it all settled down. I never heard anything negative from my grandparents when they lived under Portugese rule. Instead when it became a part of India, the Indian government did everything to destroy the Portuguese influence by banning the Portuguese language. Isn't that destroying a culture that people enjoyed for hundreds of years. Hypocrisy! They didn't rob us off of everything like the British and act like they did nothing wrong. The Portuguese actually left behind great architectures and cuisine.
    Please, STOP the hate.
    Live and let Live!
    Jai hind.

Hate? Or you hate this video because Abhimanyu introduced the fact to you? Which is not even bit of what Portuguese did with native Hindus of Goa.
Your grandfather didn't told you about the torture Portuguese did on his ancestors because he might be ashamed of telling the truth. For reference go and ask Portuguese about inquisition, they have documented each and every deed in Portuguese archives. Even they have registered the first Hindu who was forcefully converted to Christianity. I can give you prime example here in goa. Just ask any of your padri from Aldona st. Thomas church about cuncolim revolt. They have kept that incident alive in form of painting.
Really, secularism is only in books? Where was it during Portuguese era? 😂😂😂
Portuguese architecture 😆 you must be joking, compare 15th century architecture of Goa with 15th century monuments of Portugal You will Definetly come across the truth. Portuguese looted goa completely drained it's prosperity.
I pity your ignorance, very few goans still learn the Portuguese language in goan high schools. There is no ban on any language in India. Even urdu is been taught in indian schools which is official language of Pakistan And my question is that why we Indians need to learn invaders language? Do Portuguese speak konkani in Portugal, or you find any konkani scriptures left behind by Portuguese? Portuguese influenced our language and specific comunity speak the filthy version of konkani. leave, no use of digging graves as our constitution given us freedom of speech.
Enjoyed the culture? Or imposed the culture? please do some research, God has given us one life so don't die ignorant.

Im just saying yes what happened is unforgivable and they were dictators but what is happening in the comments is truly heartless. I was born a Christian and I am content with my life. The Kadamba king Sahasthadeva built a magnificent temple devoted to thier clan deity Kalkai, which is believed to be destroyed by the Portuguese, even 4 of the 12 Shiva temples built by the Shilahara king Jhanka I were located in Chandore, his capital in Goa along with several other Jain and Buddhist monasteries built by the Shilaharas, are missing, probably destroyed with the onset of Portuguese and Muslim rule.
