How To Control Anger!
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
““Who is strong? He who controls himself when angry.”
[Muslim]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) advises us:
“When one of you is angry while standing, let him sit down and if his anger goes away that is good; otherwise let him lie down.”
(Abu Dawud)
Bukhari in his Sahih relates to us that the Prophet was present when a man became angry to the point that his jugular vein was swelled. He told this man, I know a word the saying of which relaxes he who says it, “Seek refuge in Allah from Shaitan.”
رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ
"My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils,
And I seek refuge in You, my Lord , lest they be present with me."
Surah Al Muminun 97-98
وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا إِذَا مَسَّهُمْ طَائِفٌ مِّنَ الشَّيْطَانِ تَذَكَّرُوا فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْصِرُونَ
And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah . Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing. Indeed, those who fear Allah - when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight.

Im just tired of things and it makes me angry , tonight I’ve even come to ask Allah to take my soul . But I know it’s the shaytan putting these thoughts in my head . I'm not okay 😔 my mother is partial to me , anything bad happens she blames me , If me and my brother fights even if the fault of my brother, she scolds me :( I don't know that it's me or my surroundings that had made me aggressive :((( I have asked allah many times that change my nature but.... :(

Nothing much, it’s just something that is emotionally bothering me, and currently it’s Ramadan so being angry is not a good idea. So I needed a dua to extinguish it before i explode 🤲

I actaully got so angry because the shaytan thoughts or waswasa, and then I obeyed my brain it said to calm down and take a deep breath and I controlled myself and removed the anger, the waswasahs were insulting angels, I didn't like these thoughts because many times I said that I respect all angels, but the shaytan tries to blame me, in truth I respect angels,

Islam is calling for you, brother. This religion is the religion of pure Tawhid. The same message as told by all the Prophets and Messengers (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon them all). Please brother ask your sound heart, is it really befitting for God to have been born and died? Is it really befitting for God to establish a sacrificial scapegoat (Himself) for anyone's sins? Please ask God to guide you to the faith and creed that He is pleased with. We only want the best of you, and Hell is not a place anyone of us would want to be.

salam brothers and sisters! my younger sister bugged me so much that i couldn’t hold no patience and yelled at her. i know it was wrong, i just don’t know why i yelled at her, i also raised my voice while praying. i feel really guilty and i’m trying to be the best muslim as possible. i will read this dua every time i get angry.

@@houdasvideos6332 Anger is a bad thing. Its from shaytan its not from Almighty God. Have you ever heard any of our Prophets got angry? So its a bad thing and it must be stopped. I have a lot of anger. I always keep on shouting at my parents and I really don't know why. And sometimes I feel that I am talking with them normally when actually I m talking with them in angry voice. In otherwords the angry voice became normal and became a habit for me. I m really a practicing muslim and always thinking about going to Jannatul Firdaus someday but if my anger continues then it may lead me to hellfire. So please pray for me .

Today I got into a argument with My bestfriends sister that made me act out of character. I was not nessarilly hurt by what the sister had to say but more so the fact on how she spoke to me in such a belittling way. the argument was before asr and after we finnished arguing I was just wating for asr to come so I could cleasnse my soul from feeling so uneasy and ask for reptenece. I felt so much peace in knowing that I took my problems to Allah. I decided to read the Quran, and every day inshaAllah I try my best to read two pages of the Quran. On this day I realized I had finally reached the final chapter of the Quran An-Nas.
Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind,
"The King of mankind,
"The Ilah (God) of mankind,
"From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah) ,
"Who whispers in the breasts of mankind,
"Of jinns and men."
I felt so peace and so reasusred becuase it felt as if Allah planned me to reaach this final chapter after such a argument and it truley spoke to me. I felt so much better after Alhamdullilah.

My heart is beating… my dad couldn’t stop his anger on my brother. I was so scared but I was laughing but now I feel bad for my brother… I was waiting for hours, I started to get more worried. I waited for 7 minutes, still didn’t stop, and still didn’t stop. Now he did, thank you brother. He made it hard for my brother😢

I've been not doing great with my life and I can't put my decisions infront of my family without hesitation (be it any matter). I was also unable to express the burning of my heart (helplessness) coz of this. So, i just wanted to increase the anger so that I don't care who's infront of me and let this anguish go out. But it didn't happen.
