- A Florida jury recommended Wednesday afternoon that the former prison guard trainee who shot and killed five women inside a Sebring bank in 2019 be sentenced to death.
After a weeklong hearing, the jury voted 9-3 in favor of the death penalty for 27-year-old Zephen Xaver. The jury deliberated less than three hours before reaching its verdict.

He will still live 25 years longer then his victims! Maybe if the court room would experience the terrifying horror these woman went through, he would have been executed in 7 days ? Our judicial system is one major problem with our country !

It's wild GOP made it where a jury doesn't have to be unanimous yet GOP whined and whined that Merchan was inventing that.

Tragic, the pain never goes away. The law needs to be changed so that the sentence is carried out within 6 months, not 20 years.

5 lives lost..these women were loved and valued.. These families need that verdict to go through. What other justice should there be?That judge had better go with that recommendation for the families' sake.
