wahoo thanks dude.worked within first couple of plunger pulls. to think I was about to muck around pulling the interior panels off and try to push it out from inside. this was sooo easy.brilliant.
i have tried the hot water toilet plunger on my '97 toyota sprinter on my front (drivers seat) right side door with just 2-3 times i tried instantly the whole dent popped out. the sound of it popping was so satisfying. Fixed it with just $2. If i took it to a garage they'd take whole day dent and paint and bill me $50. This was done in just 2 minutes. Instant fix. Thank you so much man, you're a life saver. I was bummed the whole day because of that dent.
I don't think people really understand how much it costs to get a simple dent like this professionally fixed. I have a dent a lot like this, and a few scratches. The man gave me a quote of 5k to fix that -_- I don't want to pay that! So if this makes it at least 80% better then what it is that's good enough for me!
I just tried this on a huge dent in the back panel of my Hyundai i40. It totally worked. Doesn't quite look good as new but definitely looks about 1000 times better and cost nothing. I also used a broom handle to push the panel out from behind once the plunger had pulled out the worst of the dent. Pretty good going seeing as a replacement panel is at least £600 inc labour.
thank you for taking the time and trouble to post this guide. Seeing it actually working will give many people the solution to their dent problems and most importantly the confidence to do it. Well done
Wish I'd took a video or before/after photos; tried this on my girlfriends Clio. It had a medium-large dent in the middle of the drivers door. A full kettle and a cheap plunger means it now only has a VERY minor dent along that shaped line Clio's have parallel to the plastic trim. Both really pleased and it only cost the price of boiling a kettle!
this does work. The idea is to get the area hot. He should have used more water for an area that big. You only have a few seconds to pull the dent out while its hot. After the dent is pulled out you need to let it cool. if you keep playing with it after the area has cooled it will keep popping back in. Especially big ones like this.
Funciona!!!! Choqué el auto de mi hijo y abollé justo al lado del faro. Recordé un video como éste y lo puse en práctica, empujé con las manos. Quedó una rayita Fue genial contarle a mi hijo que le abollé el auto y mostrarle dónde había estado el bollo
That is the appropriate video for anyone who needs to find out about this topic. You understand so much its nearly arduous to argue with you (not that I truly would needHaHa). You positively put a new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Nice stuff, just nice!
Would it work on a BMW e46 shape where the metal is much more solid than newer cars. My droves side door has 2 large dents in it. A car reversed into it.
super, very good ideas. at least you show us something here, all the haters with blablabla have no video to prove they're knowledge. i think they learn something here. thanks
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover car paint spraying courses try Alkarno Spray Paint Alchemist (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my colleague got great results with it.
I dont know what some of you are talking about. It worked...He did not make it worse. Look at the angle right before video ends...This big dent is gone.
Cool! I have seen other tutorials with the hot water or the blow drier and then cold water, but I think this one looks easier. The passenger's side of my car was all dented from the middle to the back because the car leaned on a post, and there were just too ways out, both denting the car, so I just pulled forward.
It realy worked. I had a dent in the back of my toyota for almost 22 years and even without using the hot water its now good for 85 to 90%. A pitty that I didn't know this must sooner.😢
He put another dent in the vehicle. I would recommend you take off the inside door cover, get a small pillow or blanket and push out on it instead of using the plunger. The pillow will spread out the pressure when you push out so you won't put too much pressure on one spot. If the steel door guard is in the way you still might be able to do this.
to my previus car it happened like this. i had a car accident. my right door get hit by another car. i did not intend to repair it but what happened is just weird. the summer started at the time and it was warmer and warmer everyday. i opened the door when i went shoping or i drove someone else. then one day i went home from the store and closed the door. i heard a loud boom. i turned and the door was almost like before it got crashed. with my new car i had an accident too. i will try to do it like this guy tomorrow
Did the same to my car and it looked brand new! Came out of the shop the next day to the carpark and someone had re-dinted it, this time with some nice chunks of paint taken off with it 👌 fml
Thank you for your Nice Tip! how about, if the Car Paint got Scrath? What is your best Suggestion or tips. to make it the Paint smooth again? thank you, from Marikina City, Phillipines
I can imagine how better this fix would be if he had smaller plungers/industrial suction-cups to use for the smaller dents, after this plunger had undone the larger dents.
I've been repairing dents for nearly 30 years. if you don't mind a 60% fix, do it with the hot water and plunger but it's a bodge. I wouldn't do or expect to be paid for a 60% fix.
Thank you really I made a dent on my side panel I have a two door car and I thought I was going to have to drive around with it like that bc I definitely don’t want to spend hundreds at a regular shop thank you 😹I’m much relieved
Might work but the whole skin looks bent to pieces now. Is there a second part to this or what cause it sure looks like a mess to me...I hope both parties had insurance to fix this mess properly

Never be afraid to try. Good stuff thanks for taking the time to teach us

is it just me who sees this as an extremely satisfying to watch?
It's extremely satisfying to know that I ain't gotta pay $$$$ to fix a dent that a plunger, hot water & I could fix ourselves 🤣😅
Thank you for your video and demonstration. I've tried it on my car and it work. Thank you again. I recommend it to everyone.

Thank you for showing this, I was just going to the garage this has saved me lots of cash
Thank you! This was very helpful and saved me a lot of money.
Would it work on a BMW e46 shape where the metal is much more solid than newer cars. My droves side door has 2 large dents in it. A car reversed into it.
No, I have not tried that
this actually worked I poured the boiling water while my son plunged out the dent.... thank you
More hot water and pulling coupd have got that perfect by the looks of it. Great tip . Thanks.
super, very good ideas. at least you show us something here, all the haters with blablabla have no video to prove they're knowledge. i think they learn something here. thanks
Normally with a dent like that the metal is stretched so the dent will pop back in with the slightest of vibration or heat/cold variation.
This is the best thing I've seen on youtube!
What I saw was one dent became smaller but there was a second one added.
.
.
So they're was another one added but at the end they're was 0 dents it's worth making on other dent

You don’t get it, it buckles the body panel and bends others once it cools.
Great video and helping us all out, saving $$$, thanks brother!
That was EPIC! I hope you know a good body shop to repair the other dents you made look like the first one!!
Cool! I have seen other tutorials with the hot water or the blow drier and then cold water, but I think this one looks easier. call me crazy but it looked like the affected area spread out to other areas of the door.
Weww
U are crazy
Yea it does
At first it did, but he kept pushing and pulling and got it. Good effort.
@@taylorcasey6406 Bull. He didnt leave it like that.
Does this work only on fibre body of the car ?
What did you spend the insurance money on?
Lol omg
It's funny because i'm a claims adjuster.... lmfao
My college textbooks. That's why I'm here...
a plunger
Diesel

oh nice! I believe you
Can a doctor do that in a dent skull caused by elbow?
can I use the plunger in my toilet after?
No. It can only be used on car dents after that.
LML!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deborah Downer That was funny. The comment of the day 😄
yes but be careful getting the dents out of your toilet boiling water can burn your sensitive regions
molto bello
You came up with a great idea never seen that before that is so cool I give you a thumbs up on that one.
Doesnt the hot water affect the paint?
Hi! Would it work on a ford focus ? I see a lot of comments saying the results depend of the material of the car. Thanks!
Thanks for this, can't wait to try it on my old truck!
Funkar det för dörrskada också? nämligen har fått litet buckla på dörrarna när folk bryr sig inte att skada bilen bredvid när de öppnar dörren.
Would this also work with older cars that have steel doors?
Take door panel off first. Then hot water the area. Push from inside. This prevents putting more dents into door as this person demonstrated
Did the same to my car and it looked brand new! Came out of the shop the next day to the carpark and someone had re-dinted it, this time with some nice chunks of paint taken off with it 👌 fml

Where can I get plunger and name for this
I have a $4500 repair bill. I'll let you know if your technique works on my car. Thanks for sharing!
So da pra fazer con carro de plásticos? Ou lataria tambem da?
The finish was very good but the light reflection makes it look spread around!
Kaha milega ye plagar
An improvement soo many more little dents still.
is it ok to use a used toilet plunger..?
It’s a sink plunger 😁
How's the paint looking now?
it can be removed on metal also or not
The only issue with this is that you have to work fast because the fibre glass won’t get stay hot for very long. Other then that it’s pretty cool!
what is the hot water for please
Holy shit i tried this on my honda and it worked..thanks
It worked. Turned an unsightly dent into a mindor dent.
Nice. Will try it out on my car tomorrow
Does the hot water help if my dent is not flat?
Will this mess up your paint??
GREAT IDEA !!
THANKS !!
boiling water or hairdryer is safer to the paint?
Ooooooh! I wonder if that would work on surfboard?!!
Can this be done on a refrigerator
I don't know thanks
i dont know what was the cleanest the kettle or the toilet plunger
how hot does the water have to be?
boiling or what?
Well, it's a kettle. So boiling

Can I use boiling water and compressed air?

what a music on this video?
Will this work on a '98 Chevy Cavalier that isn't the plastic of today' cars, but of actual metal? Thanks
Please asked any expat
Thanks
Where do you get a toilet plunger like that who's handle does not pull out.
so a plunger and hot water???omfg im excited
Surely the hot water will damage the clearcoat? How hot is it?
Great idea bro.what a creative mindset
Wah great technique
Wont the colour come off?
I've been repairing dents for nearly 30 years. if you don't mind a 60% fix, do it with the hot water and plunger but it's a bodge. I wouldn't do or expect to be paid for a 60% fix.
nice have same dent on mine but little deeper. if it moves even a little I'll be happy had for few months now
Good job.
Looks better than b4.
Well, he did fix a bit the actual dent but he also destroid the rest of the door by doing it.
Finally a person who knows what damage it’s doing!
Why? Explain me please
The way you spelled “destroid” made me think about the dent being caused by an asteroid.
It’s destroyed* bud ✌🏻
No meu caso o meu não deu certo!
Hello, my friend~~~ I had a car accident last week, so my car is being repaired.
That was satisfying AF
Now do the "lean" test ;), many of times I've seen repairs like this which last until a feather lands on it or a bird shits on it and it pops back in.
That is why u can't just hear it up and pop it out
bird shits on it? lmao
gizzymoee works at an auto body shop.
Show, very good!
Thanks
Thank you really
I made a dent on my side panel I have a two door car and I thought I was going to have to drive around with it like that bc I definitely don’t want to spend hundreds at a regular shop thank you 😹I’m much relieved
You Welcome

I'm more concern on where did you get that toilet plunger.
what about dent at bottom after using it
can't use a the car key in the electric door locks
Does that really works?
I thought the whole door frame was going to come off there for a second...:-) Great vid.
Wow!! That is so cool!
Shohag, Thank you so much for this tutorial, I'm going to try it!
Might work but the whole skin looks bent to pieces now. Is there a second part to this or what cause it sure looks like a mess to me...I hope both parties had insurance to fix this mess properly
Thank you so much it's very helpful
Great job now the automakers will send a hit man to your house you saved to many people money.
