    I like it...it's lovely and anyone that has a negative comment can go scratch. Lol I'll say it for you. I have used makartt nail covers to do exactly this. I purchased them on Amazon for under $20. Only thing is they are flat looking. C curved yes, but not a arch in apex. Also FYI Amazon has the just the Apres nail covers. For like just under $40. Make sure you select sculpted, s there are 2 types. The sculpted one have a arch at the apex. Hope this helps.

    Hi, I just found this channel & subscribed. Rules are made to be broken! I always say. Like you, I like to push the boundaries. I love this idea, at the moment moment, I've done my nails with Gelish polygels. I applied them with the dual forms. I did my non dominant hand first, they came out thinner than the other hand done with my dominant hand. Up to now, they've been on a month. It's been good going. I'm really pleased with them. 😊💖💅

      @@azulbonito8014 you have to soak off, sadly they popped off on me in 24 hours so depends on body chemistry too.

    I think it looks great. I was actually thinking about exactly the same. Already bought builder gel in opal colour and now just waiting for tips to be delivered. I will do it your way and put some builder gel on nails, as originally I was only planning to put the coat of base only. I also think that other systems are too expensive. Again, great job.

    Curiosity got the better of you 😉 if you don’t try then you wont know, I would of dehydrated my nails first then apply Bonder just to help with adhesion. Love that Beige colour xx

    Hi hun have you tried this with the nail dual form that would be interesting to find out if that's works because you can get some dual forms with really good c curve hun🙂

    • @karizmacharles4510
      @karizmacharles4510 5 лет назад +1

      Naomi Coleman Yes, I agree. The dual forms/Pop its are an amazing way to get *PERFECT* shape and perfectly long lasting nails! The c curves and Everything is done for you! You can use Poly gel, gel, and acrylic in them! I use poly gel and they last a long time, and then I fill them in when needed, usually about 2/3 weeks and they keep going! I only completely redo them after about every six weeks because they last so well!

    So you left the false nail on or did u take it off? I've seen other videos where the false nail is taken off after curing and leaves the gel underneath.

    Tfs. It's great to break the rules. I like all ideas and alternative ideas to acrylic and gel. Yes, this is definitely something that can be inappropriated in a salon service menu (yes, I'm a licensed nail tech and esthetician) for customers/clients who don't like acrylics, or if you have a salon in an area that is green alternative, etc. I like it cause, with my early stage of arthritis, I can successfully do my own set of nails without relying on other technicians that I'm not familiar with their technics and style.

    Can u do a fill on a nail like this? Just fill in the new frowth like you would fo for a acrylic fill?

  • @madisonbrannon8490
    @madisonbrannon8490 3 года назад

    When using a full coverage nail dont you risk air bubbles and lifting which can cause discoloration of the nail? I just got my license in Oct - Nov and started working in a salon in late June. Also does this method hold up well with messibg with acetone?

    ty so much for sharing this! im trying to grow my nails and i want to do my own but as my nails are so thin and brittle i didnt want to use acrylic until they are a bit stronger so this will be perfect! How long did they stay on your nails for?

      @@jackiewyn2009 when I did my nails hun they stayed on for at least four to six weeks but they could stay on even longer just file around your cuticle when they are lifting then just add abit more product on top .and even better they are so good at soaking them off with nail polish remover aswell hun . Another good product is good as well if your nails are so thin and brittle the dip powder is also really good hope this helps hun🙂

    So you mean 1 coat of base coat on nail and tip under UV lamp separately and then 1 coat of builder gel on both again and stuck together before popping in under UV lamp As I could not understand since I could not see the lamp.
