it’s because some gel polish have like a sticky layer even if you cure them on the lamp, so there are some topcoats which come out completely dry, they are called no wipe ☺️
Can you do a video with designs for short nails please I haven acrylic paint and brushes but can you do a video on nail designs for short nails thank you I love you
Dee Tru I don’t know if your supposed to with base coat but the finishing product you should wipe them with an alcohol pad that’s 99% alcohol to get rid of the sticky layer

I do not use primer before the base but I kind of want to start....can you use mia secret primer or does it have to be a certain type for gel polish?

Unless the topcoat is a non wipe then there is no need to wipe
