Beautiful guide. Thorough, yet to the point and unnecessarily prolonged. There aren't almost any good schema tutorials for some reason, yet it's such a useful thing for search engines. Good job!
I've watched quite a few videos about schema markup, mainly because I want to get started using it on my sites, and by far this video has been the clearest and most easily understandable explanation of them all.
Thank you. Will search your channel for more vids. Have a great day and Happy New Year! 😎😎

Thanks for the helpful tips to implement schema markup! I’ll let you know how the results go
you're welcome. Hope you see good results.
Will schema automatically generated by Yoast SEO plugin interere with the more precise method you're showing, or will one override the other?
Also, if I have more than 2 service locations (for which i also have seperate landing pages), can I do service markups for both locations? Will Google see this as some "interference" or "irregularity"?
And thank you for the great info, sir!
bravo
If we are using wordpress cms
So which plugin we need to use to ad code on schema

Hi Phil, your video is really helpful. I learnt many things after watching your video. One thing i would like to highlight is that your voice & accent is so consistent that I really had to focus to understand what you are talking. Do something here. You rocks Sir.
Glad you found it helpful. I'll keep your suggestions in mind. thanks.
Hi, is there a guide of how to implement data schema for a table of data? I believe its called data-set schema. Still there are so many fields that I dont understand even their meaning.
Can you explain how to generate dataset schema? Thanks!
Awesome🔥
thanks
so so appreciated !!! Please updating news from SEO on ur channel! I subscribed
thanks. I'll be working on some new content this week for future videos.
It takes weeks for Google to pick it up . How will that work when you change product prices daily?
Hi Phil, great video, easy to understand and short, which I appreciate. I have a question, you mention high-quality plugin. We have a Wordpress site and there are several schema plugins. Is there a specific plugin you recommend?
One that I've used and that consistently has good reviews is the Yoast plugin. They have a paid and free version. For most sites the free versions might be sufficient.
yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/
Thanks for the share. I'm still doubtful that if we need to include schema only on the index page or all the pages?
For the organization markup, I would recommend either the home page or contact us page, but not all pages. For markup such as FAQ, it should go only on the page it applies to, the FAQ page. Here's an article that talks about it: www.searchenginejournal.com/google-do-not-put-organization-schema-markup-on-every-page/289981/#close
Is there a way to implement schema bulk product to an online store (ex: Walmart), or do you have to do it one by one?
The product schema needs to be applied to each page separately. I'm not aware of any bulk import for schema specifically. However, depending on what platform you are using, some platforms provide ways to upload product data in bulk via an import. For example, Shopify allows you to import product data via a CSV file and then Shopify automatically will apply the appropriate product schema for each product.
Great video. Please build more videos how to add or modify schema markup with WordPress. Yoast.
Thanks. I'll add that to the list.
If I test code . Then its showing page is not eligible for rich results
Thank you for the video! It is really great. Is there another showing how FAQ schema can be added directly in the body of a page? I am building a site on Perch and the head is reused sweepingly across the entire site, not allowing me to add head content to specific pages. Putting it directly in the body would be really great. Thanks!
Yes. You can use the microdata format instead of JSON-LD. This page gives an example of the markup in microdata:
developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/faqpage
@@GuidingDigital thank you!
Hi thanks for this awesome video. I have a question: can schema be applied to a site that is not a Wordpress site? Thanks
Yes. Schema markup applies to all websites. It's hard to give advice on how to add it without knowing what platform you are using, but the concept is the same. Somehow you need to place the schema markup in the head section of the html.
Bit late here but I have a question noone seems to be able to answer - you added the FAQ schema to the FAQ page in the header - but surely this will then be present on every page of your site won't it? Google recently stated that schemas should only be on the dedicated pages that are relevant to that schema. So why does all this code always go in the header? Shouldn't it be inserted into the body? Thanks
You are correct. The schema markup should just be on the page that it applies to. It still needs to go in the header section of the html code, and so if you are using a template for your header, you are correct you can't just put it in that template that would apply to the whole site. Depending on what you are using to build your site, you'll either need to parameterize your header template and then pass in the schema markup from the FAQ page or find a way on your FAQ page to inject it into the head section of the html on just that page. Here's a video that I created that illustrated injecting the markup into a single page. I am using the Gatsby framework in this video.
Which Wordpress plug-ins are advisable for schema posts
Two that I've worked with that I've been pleased with are the Yoast plugin (wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/) and the WP SEM plugin (wpsemplugins.com/)
He is reading . . . And giving explanation
Hvala
You're welcome
Sir I am unable to see preview result button in rich result test.
One thing to keep in mind is that the preview results link only shows up if markup is found and my assumption also is that it only shows for markup that would produce rich results in Google's search results.
How many days will the schemas usually show up in Google search results?
From my experience it depends on how how established your site is. For newer sites that don't get a ton of traffic, it has taken 2 - 3 weeks for a FAQ schema item to appear.
Can't i just use a plugin like 'easy accordion'?
I am using it for a FAQ Schema by the way. Will it still reflect on the Google serp?
I'm not familiar with that plugin. I'm not seeing schema markup in the list of features. Try scanning the page with a schema testing tool to see if it detects the FAQ schema: search.google.com/test/rich-results
Recommend just drop in the music everything else is good man.
