I'm currently installing one of these and had a quick question. The sealant that you used for the waste and water connections, is that just plumbers grease to help the connections fit nicely?
Just plumbers grease. Coat the seal and the toilet outlet
isn't it a little low? i've used wall hung toilets that were too low and they hurt cause your legs can't rest on the lid to spread the weight.
it's always good to measure your knee height to make it aligns for max comfort.
It's 2 inches taller than a standard floor standing toilet.
So I'm installing this toilet and the rods are loose where the toilet mounts on. Is this normal
A little bit of wiggle is ok. They will firm up when you tighten the toilet against the wall. 👍

Have you had an difficulty with leaking from the base pipe?
No. I used lots of silicon grease on the seal and the toilet outlet

It came with the toilet. First time I had seen one come with a gasket. I still siliconed across the top
It’s there for multiple reasons.
1. Not break the pot
2. Stop the pot from scratching the wall and stopping squeaking noises
3. Give some flexibility for the nuts so if you tighten them too tight, the pot doesn’t crack in half.
You should go for the cistern plate first
What size was the connector seal for the inlet
4 inch I believe. It's been a while since I installed one of those and it comes with a trap and seal.
