    How many potential and actual natural disasters do people need to go thru before people realize government is inept, incapable of doing anything other then giving speeches? Believing that the government can make everything ok is suicidal. Evaluate the risk, plan accordingly and be willing to act independently because most likely help ain’t coming.

      Let's not be too critical, even if u weren't head over heels for ur local government, it's a very hard & heart-breaking realization to be forced to accept that these people u allowed to have authority over u under the pretense of protection for the general public are just glorified crooks that would sacrifice u & everyone u love to a volcano if it meant a little bit more pocket change or an extra seat on the get away truck. Knowing it's the vry ppl who told u ur whole life that if u just lived ur life honestly & followed the law, it was on ur side & would take care of u. Their own mayor is literally trying to take all the money that's left to cushion the consequence of his own abuse of position as well as all real-estate property owners trying to 'recoop their losses' under the guise of 'building new buildings' when it's rly just code for, 'we' re taking that money for ourselves & siphoning it to our bank accounts bcuz we know we lost all our property there after actively paying to suppress years of data of an imminent eruption, so goodluck chuck, ur on ur own.' It takes a special select breed of monster to be so willing & able to make such choices as that.

That are also imminent that they are trying hard not to get out i.e. The plan of 'make america beautiful again' act is desguised as an enviromental attempt to reclaim 30% of america's land, but it's bcuz they know food shortages are coming & want to claim as much of it for the elite and possible. They dont want to admit that a lot of it is due to u regulated plundering of nationsl parks and uranium mining, water table depletion, oil pipe and natural gas as well as the many thousands of oil wells off the coast of mexico which is home to enourmous calderas. But let us remember this is still a solemn necessity, bcuz a lot of ppl wont deserve what happens to them. Even now, i mainly look upon the main actors with much more disappointment than pure heated resentment. Bcuz more suffering is not helpful, but if u would ask that of others, then im afraid there was no way around the fact that u have to pay the same cost if not more depending on how many u consigned to this fate & how many times u chose to keep pursueing it when u could have stopped and turned around.

I continue to see tremors at both Campi Flegrei and Vesuvius, and just last week Vesuvius registered just over 7 hours of continuous tremors. I've read that the mayor appointed a commission to decide what to do and their conclusion was that they would be safe. As far as I know, no one in living memory had ever seen a pyroclastic flow since Pliny the Younger saw it at the Mt. Vesuvius eruption in 79AD. If they thought it was going to be lava like Hawaii, then they might expect to be able to avoid areas of lava flow or get on a ship and escape. And apart from his letter to Tacitus recording his observations, I don't know of any other reports describing this type of eruption.
      Except .... well, except for the Quran:
      Quran 46:24 And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment, 25 destroying everything by command of its Lord. And they became so that nothing was seen [of them] except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.
      And when you read the Islamic commentaries on this and on the destruction of other places in the Quran that occurs with a "shout", it occurs to no-one that this is connected to a volcanic eruption. Instead, a tornado or sandstorm might be invoked. Except that when you put all the verses together, it is clear that this isn't just fanciful exaggeration but something else entirely.
      Quran 29:40 Each We seized for his sin; and of them against some We loosed a squall of pebbles and some were seized by the Cry, and some We made the earth to swallow, and some We drowned; God would never wrong them, but they wronged themselves.
      [[In the Javanese Book of the Kings they say that the eruption of Krakatoa resulted in the land sinking and the formation of a passage between Java and Sumatra. In other words, this Quranic verse isn't talking about four events but one.]]
      Quran 36:29 It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished.

    In World War II children were evacuated from cities and towns to the safety of the countryside. Likewise, women, children and the elderly have been evacuated from war torn Ukraine. Why isn’t Naples evacuating their children and those who wish to leave? Everyone else who wants to stay, does so at their own risk.

    The problem with Campi Flegrei goes much beyond the bay of Naples area... to potentially all of mankind. Imagine the sun NOT shining for years, no air travel anywhere, the ability grow crops anywhere highly diminished for years, global dark winter-like temps (in summer) for a decade, and that's just the beginning. Lets hope it doesn't erupt for another 10,000 years. But it eventually will. Excellent work Silki, the world needs this kind of excellent and concerned reporting. @@juleskass5387 Yes, you got it right. But it is one of those things that no one talks about in public, howerver, if the planners don;t account for that time gap, chaos reigns. Planners, often military officers, expect to rule like dictators. But the public are panicking. So it is like trying to herd cats, all of them panicking to go home, including the police. In Victoria, BC, the master plan was to close down all the major highways and arteries to keep them clear for fire trucks. I had been giving PPT shows on the earthquake and tsunami dangers, and met one of the planners. I told him the plan forced commuters into back streets, creating chaos, with trees across roads and power lines down. The highways were empty. And the fires were in houses in residential areas, not in the highway, so the fire trucks could not get to fires. A year later, I noticed the plan had been altered to be much less restrictive.

    Not to be alarming, i just wish to inform , the primary cause for mortality due to volcanic eruption is suffocation. The earthquake and magma and lava and the potential for the tsunami is the least of the worries, those things are for people outside the danger zone. The sulfer and or the vapors alone within the radius are reason enough to argue that no one should live there, to explain, the earthquake and volcanic eruption is not the issue , the ash and vapor will make it so the population cannot either breathe or see. It is not a fire, it is not just ash, the vapor removes the ability to inhale any oxygen , even if you are the biggest smoker. This is why unexpected volcanic eruptions that are serious are unpredictable and not taken seriously because for a short while it is very beautiful and a very keen environment to live. If the ground is bubbling up and then down and back up, you guys shouldn't give "experts" the time of day, you shouldn't expect the worst either but you certainly should not NOT (DOUBLE NEGATIVE)expect the worst. You are def not getting out by car in this situation , and also not rely on your government. It's one of those damned if you do or don't situations. to give a visualization, campi flegri erupting properly would be like a burnt pizza or pie , where the center is bubbling , but everything surrounding is a crisp

    • @jake6262
      @jake6262 3 месяца назад +3

      Sulfer and ash are horrible, but you can make it if you are lucky. However, vapor from the volcano will steal the air that belongs to you without any mercy and virtually no one has any equipment freely available to overcome that situation.

      There is also a potential concern, regarding tsunamis with campi flegri, depending on the where the seismic activity is and what depth it is, a different county besides Italy could be affected , or a different government rather not to be specific , but this would mean from France to Northeast Africa

    • @jake6262
      @jake6262 3 месяца назад +2

      What is understand about volcanic tsunamis is not well understood , but I have this belief the volcanic tsunamis can have an outward reaction instead of inwards , depending on depth and velocity of the seismic activity and the amount of magma and whatever coinciding magma chambers are present and are currently unknown, as well as known and unknown precursor events that were influenced by the sun and tectonic issues that are impossible to record and observe since we literally cannot predict vapors even if we could know

    • @jake6262
      @jake6262 3 месяца назад +1

      I have literally no expertise, everything I said is an opinion , and I'm pretty confident someone who is an expert will agree with me with particular exceptions . I'm not an expert , on anything, but history shows, time and time again, when people in any type of government , whether it be USA or Italy, are withholding key data for monotonously boring subjects like volcanos, and their movements are influenced by those events, you don't need to panic but you need to pay attention , because people like that are shady and exploit events instead of inform people because self interest outweighs public good. But yeah, if the ground is bubbling up and down, and you have to ask that is normal, no, it's not normal, and no , it's not okay, yes, it happens, you don't need to panic , but please don't listen to anyone that says it's okay. It's not. Your ground should be level, or round and bumpy as usual. You shouldnt have to worry about the ground protruding like some type of terrestrial acne on the face of the earth. You deserve Answers , action and don't settle for anyone saying it's normal but also don't panic. But realize , no one really knows anything in this world and we only do the best with what we can ascertain even if we don't understand, no one actually understands volcanos even if they have all the degrees in volcanic and seismic studies. On timeline of human events, understanding volcanos and seismic activity is fairly new, so please forgive people when they Are wrong and most of all when they are correct.

    At the end of the day, you need huge resources to evacuate that many people but time will not be on their side if they leave it too late to give proper warnings. Also, where would you take that many people after they are evacuated? Especially if vesuvius goes up with campi flegrei. You will have residents of Herculaneum and pompeii. If the eruption is huge, loads of ash, gas, even pyroclastic flows, there will ve no time to get anyone far enough away.

    Governments manage business flow.
    That is their ONLY mandate.
    Real, living, feeling human beings have to get that into their heads.
    The people in the area are not "feeling, living people" with experiences and stories but "human resources" like "mineral resources" or "petroleum resources"; to be managed and allocated for maximum but then culled and sacrificed when it's time to "pull the plug on the project"--like an old mining rig in a tapped out field.
    It's hard for most people to think of self-preservation without the permission and "guidence" of some form of over-lord--especially in areas where there are long-help traditions of top-down rule vs. independent self-determination.
    What is happening is exactly the same "civic-planning" scheme that was used when Pompeii and Herculaneum were lost 2000 years ago.
    Exactly the same.
    I'm not thinking that's such a good plan.

    When Etna and Vesuvius go off simultaneously the plates will move (worldwide).

Unfortunately areas like Graham and even Tacoma are at risk , I don't remember precisely as it is a few years ago that I looked it up. How ridiculous to tell authorities that you don't want to move away from your home that is sitting in an active volcano, because it is your home, but you want someone else make your home "safe" enough to withstand an earthquake and or an eruption. Why, why, why do people feel the right to make someone else responsible for their safety and well being!? It is the responsibility of each individual to insure their own safety and well being. If you want to remain where you are, and feel your home is not safe, then it is up to YOU to make it stronger or make repairs. If my roof to my home needs to be repaired because it started to leak, I would have no right to go to my government and say you need to fix this problem for me! If I lived in the path of a hurricane, it would be ridiculous for me to tell the authorities that it is their responsibility to insure that it misses my home because I refuse to leave it!

      @@silki24 Ciao Siki, sorry but i don’t speak english
      1) In Italia ad occuparsi della sicurezza in caso di terremoti, frane e disastri causati dalla natura è la Protezione Civile (con a Capo il Ministro Musumeci), i sindaci hanno ruoli solo di supporto alla protezione civile, in quanto hanno pochi uomini sotto al loro comando (i vigili urbani - che si occupano soprattutto della viabilità della città), ma sicuramente devono informare la popolazione e garantire l’accesso alle vie di fuga;
      2) Il Prefetto (che rappresenta il Governo) potrebbe intervenire quando ad esempio in un Comune qualche strada (per la fuga) è inaccessibile ed operare per renderla libera, superando il potere del Sindaco inadempiente;
      3) Attualmente il livello di allerta dei Campi Flegrei è GIALLO (fase di Attenzione, ma NON di Pericolo imminente) - vengono studiati e analizzati i gas che fuoriescono;
      4) In caso di Eruzione Esplosiva si conterebbero milioni di vittime (io sarei tra queste, pur abitando a 25Km da Pozzuoli) ma per gli scienziati questo pericolo, ad oggi, non c è;
      5) In caso di Eruzione Effusiva e terremoti, si conterebbero migliaia di vittime, perché la gente non è ancora informata e formata, per mancanza di strade per le vie di fuga, - ad esempio una strada prevista per la fuga è la Tangenziale di Napoli, ma è una strada che percorre i Campi Flegrei, chi ci assicura che non sia colpita dalla lava? - le altre strade sono strette e rurali e si creerebbero intasamenti e blocchi
      6) Il bradisismo attuale “è nato nel 2015-2016” quando ci sono state le prime scosse di terremoto,
      si spera che abbia raggiunto il punto massimo e che la terra inizi presto a scendere (non avvengono terremoti quando il suolo scende) come avvenne dopo il 1984,
      TANTI SALUTI.
      Hi Siki, sorry but I don't speak English
      1) In Italy, the Civil Protection (headed by Minister Musumeci) is responsible for safety in the event of earthquakes, landslides and disasters caused by nature; the mayors only have roles to support civil protection, as they have few men under their command. their command (the traffic police - who mainly deal with the city's traffic), but they must certainly inform the population and guarantee access to escape routes;
      2) The Prefect (who represents the Government) could intervene when for example in a Municipality some road (for escape) is inaccessible and work to make it free, overcoming the power of the defaulting Mayor;
      3) Currently the alert level of the Campi Flegrei is YELLOW (Attention phase, but NOT imminent danger) - the gases that escape are studied and analysed;
      4) In the event of an Explosive Eruption there would be millions of victims (I would be among these, despite living 25km from Pozzuoli) but for scientists this danger, to date, does not exist;
      5) In the event of an Effusive Eruption and earthquakes, there would be thousands of victims, because people are not yet informed and trained, due to the lack of escape routes - for example, a planned escape route is the Naples ring road , but it is a road that runs through the Campi Flegrei, who can assure us that it is not hit by lava? - the other roads are narrow and rural and would create congestion and blockages
      6) Current bradyseism "was born in 2015-2016" when there were the first earthquakes,
      it is hoped that it has reached the maximum point and that the earth will soon begin to descend (earthquakes do not occur when the earth descends) as it did after 1984,

St. Helens in scale.and it may kill hundreds of thousands, as it will blow quicker without the months long bulging inside a huge mountain, but from a weakend porous volcanic crust of a former caldera , also the shallow depth of magma chamber may facilitate multiple even simultaneous eruptions and liquifaction over a wider area excavating a new huge caldera where Campi Flegrei exists today.
