i watched it live and i've never seen Jarno so disappointed. the silence was louder than a V10.
This trailer gave me the chills, but it doesn't change the fact that I still have my expectations in the Earth's Core at this point.

So they added a fun story mode. Well, people expected them to add nothing but different couch designs so I'm pleasantly surprised all things considered.

As for the trailer, EA likes their smoke and mirrors, so tread with care. If the beta sucks, jump ship and dont buy unless there is a hypermassive discount.

On a more serieus note, I do hope that the game is going to be good. But I have my doubts.

tbh the graphics look very pre 2017
So, the only thing I can gander from that trailer is that they took what DTS does and made it into a story mode. That means it's gonna be as unrealistic as possible. Maybe they'll even fabricate facts that don't exist or put them in the wrong place just like Netflix does!
The car model seem to all look the same. The cars are still very different one from another so I think they should do some minor changes to reflect the look of thar cars (sidepods, nose)
This trailer had the FOM model used for My Team etc. Screenshots show this car too. Reveal trailers and stuff always come before the final car models
It's actually a good idea to add more dramatic story and shmmacting to make up for the mediocre driving experience and graphics, which doesn't seem to be capable of getting better.

EA will never be able to produce such realism. Their target audience is the 80% of people who buy the game just because they watch F1 and want to try it out for a month then quit, not the 20% who actually want to build up on their skills on the game. Laser scanned tracks and realistic performance of aerodynamics and tyre models would ruin such expierence for casual players not looking to get into any competitive scene, because the game would quite literally be too hard. Its one of the reasons I am making the switch to ACC and Iracing, this game was fun for me to league race on, but I realised I could never take it seriously as a sim since nothing about it WAS a sim, and probably never will be.
