EA only allows positive comments about their betas though, similar positive things were said about F122 and we all know how that turned out...

The engine sounds in F1 23 are the worst as possible, the F1 2014's one are more realistic than F1 23.

So far so good.
The Throttle Application is quite like F1 2020 and the Handling is a bit like F1 2021. I love that the throttle applications is more realistic to real life F1 Cars. You can have proper throttle inputs on starts and low - medium speed corners without getting weird wheelspins or snap oversteer. You can have a low drag setup and it actually works around Silverstone. The brakes are better as well and slipstream is more realistic and efficient.

@@PultsMoizer f1 2020 was that good. if f1 23 ends up to be bad at launch then f1 2020 will still be the best f1 game to date 3 years afters its release and will probably be tied for best f1 game since release if f1 23 is actually good on launch
@@godzvnm7315 f1 2020 has classic cars as well which gets a bonus point for me. really unfortunate that they removed them, they were so fun to drive with.
@@Bearical may have just lost the liscenses for them as codies need to have the liscenses approved by FOM, thats also why we dont have tracks like hockenheim, malaysia and so on aswell.

honestly imo they just have made the pitch of the engine higher which doesn't sound good nor realistic at all, the best onboard sounds were from F1 2020
The way Piastri was fighting you at the start!! That was excellent racing from the AI, no stupid bumping or overly dangerous dives, actually clever pressure - that's exciting to see. Also amazing seeing how much traction you have, almost full throttle in 3rd gear while cornering on cold tyres... couldn't even do that in 5th on F122 😂

I was being optimistic about this year's game, but now I'm really digging what I'm seeing so far, so stoked for the improved handling!
Also, the changes they did to the setups is amazing. Having even more control in the suspension is awesome.

cant wait to race on this game, i needed this grip so much, i was so struggling with tyre grip every league race, i lost so many positions every time. Thanks Jarno for showcasingg F1 23 for us!
The changes in the brake bias and tyre temperatures seem subtle, but definitely are going to be a good improvement in comparison!
Other major changes seem promising as well, bring it on!

even just from his driving Jarno looks more confident in this game, great to see changes in the handling and even the ai and tracks seem slightly better but that was expected, looking forward to this one.

I love that option for collisions to be off for the first lap. Awesome to not get absolutely punted in a social race and have to pit after lap 1, but also to try and keep a full lobby so a third of the cars don't DNF so early in the race.

This isn’t a shit solution and kills the immersion. They needed ghosting at the level of GT7 ranked lobbies if they want this game to sell.

After your comments about F1 2020, I bought a copy just to see what all the fuss was about. I think the main thing I could distinguish was the predictability of the traction. Because of this, there was a noticeable reward for hitting the correct line, certainly for a driver of my "quality", I could gain chunks of time in one corner, several tenths, compared to F1 22, where I was so tentative at all times on exit that I couldn't optimise the gain.
I really think that this could make a major difference to eSports reducing the influence on qualifying and allowing drivers with superior race craft to shine through.
I think we know who I am talking about here. I am looking forward to less drs trains.

So basically, the free patch that should have been released to fix, in particular, the traction, steering and braking problems of F1 22 is instead being released as F1 23 and going to cost me £50! I don't think so. More than happy to get my F1 23 fix by watching you and playing AMS2 instead.

This looks like a huge improvement over 22. I had to actually turn traction control on to medium for 22 or I would just end up spinning constantly, had never needed assists in any driving game before in over 20 years...

Hey mate. I've have watched the Austrian GP. Our car has improved it's smoothness in driving. You got to continue the last lap attack as long it is secure. Conserve tires and attack on last laps.

Idk, there have been 35% race options in preview builds before and then we didn't get it. Specifically for ranked this is a must.
