Egyptian Bird Trap
This is a small scale trap model that could be scaled up to make a very deadly and effective trap. These traps have a very historical background. It is a fun "bushcraft" project to make and makes for some great knife skills practice.

I agree 100%. I do need to scale it up a bit and use some more stout materials to make a killing trap. This was more of a model than anything just to play with. My daughter has enjoyed fiddling with it 😊

However, I am not deploying the trap, just made it as a project to explore what is possible with a knife and a little cordage. No birds harmed 🙂
