Right! To beat all those top players in a row is crazy! I knew she was gonna win it after Sabalenka played her friend Badosa in an easier match for Saba. Keys was almost prepared so well with her matches, especially grinding out 3 set matches. She had the extra edge for sure playing that final.

The way she was able to stand tall when it was so easy to crumble match after match - especially considering how things have gone in slams past. This lady and her team deserve all the credit and praise. Truly one of the greatest runs in sports. Well done. I will talk about this for a very long time.
Madison literally resurrected her game like Lazarus. I thought Swiatek had toasted her, stopped watching the match in the 3rd set, just to wake up in the morning to find out she won. I'm soooooo happy for her like I won the tournament. Thanks Madison for being a major inspiration in my life right now.

Delighted for Madison, I always felt that she has the game to win slams if she can keep injuries and inconsistencies at bay, and in this tournament she faced the toughest opponents and just never gave up even if there were ups and downs in the match. Her experiences and her journey made her steadfast and it’s clear how much she’s worked on her game. She also showed great physical conditioning through the close matches, she’s had to work hard after her injuries to be prepared for this one. Awesome result.

She is a serious contender for the Wimbledon title also if she stays fit and healthy. She was beating Paolini last year until she got injured.
