    My dear just came across your channel. When using these products you need to properly dry. Using tension with a round brush I’m sure would’ve made a world of difference

    You have beautiful textured hair. Use the creams or leave in conditioner & mousse or gel and scrunch it in, use a diffuser or air dry and you’ll spend way less time on your hair. If you get that crunchy cast from the stylers, you just use a little hair oil and scrunch out the crunch. I struggled with poofy, frizzy hair for many many years. Spent years straightening my hair.I didn’t know how to style my hair, but once I embraced it and got the right products, it was a game changer.

    I've used Mane & Tail for decades, my hair is thick & frizzy by nature but M&T has tamed it down over the years. I quit using the overly hot hair dryer, that helped too. It also helps to rinse with cold water to smooth the hair shaft.

    You have curly hair, you shouldn’t brush it dry else you will defo get a lot of frizz. Buy a diffuser for your hairdryer and get a cut that will embrace your curls. Will be much less maintenance in the end.

    You put waaayyyyy toooo much of the leave in spray you only needs a couple sprays otherwise it will leave a film on your hair and that goes for any leave in. You hair seems thinner so I wouldn’t put too much of any leave in conditioner if I were you! Also adding a oil to your ends will help alot but still leave your hair shiny and soft. I think your natural texture was so pretty! If you found products to help you embrace it I think your life would be way easier

      Shelby - doing my hair is not my strong suit...as you can tell. Any tips and tricks you have for me will be greatly appreciated. I tried doing my natural curls...but I just can't get into it. Straight hair is more my jam. I did just have my son give me a little trim...so the ends do look way healthier. Do you have any products you can suggest?

    I like your hair down and curly just use some mouse ,argan oil after you shampoo and condition. Use an old t shirt to dry hair dont rub your hair to dry just squeeze lightly.

      Smile forev - Quite a few of you guys are saying that I should just try rocking the curly hair...I'm not sure I can do that. I just really like stick straight hair. But now that I think about it...I did have a perm when I was in my late teens and It wasn't al bad. So maybe I'll give curly hair a shot...maybe :)

    It looks good...I use just regular shampoo/conditioner... But, before drying I use Morrocan Oil... brown bottle with blue label... you put on when it's wet... It's been the best for the wild freezy hair... I've tried their shampoo/conditioner... but just stick with the oil.... My hair completely changed after I had a hysterectomy... from straight to wild frizzy curly hair. Hormones make a BIG difference in your hair, or lack of... give it a try... you use to have to have a license to buy it, but now you don't.. will cost a little more unless you have a friend that can go to Cosmopro, etc... Let us know!..I don't think anything is going to give us that just left the salon look..

    I haven’t even watched the whole video yet, you have beautiful hair and you haven’t even washed yet, been watching you a while now and didn’t know you had that type of curly hair. Get a good diffuser, if you can swing it, the dyson is the best out there, low heat/ fast dry. As we age we have to change our hair care just like skin care 😀unless you’re a lucky girl, we are not those girls, lol. I stopped coloring mine too, all gray now, cheaper and no frizz

    • @ThisisRealLifeWithSheri
      @ThisisRealLifeWithSheri  2 года назад

      Laurie Marniella - You are sweet...but I think this hair is fooling you just a little bit. These curls came from having wet hair, wrapping it out in a bun and letting it dry while I slept...plus it was super dirty. When my hair is freshly washed, the curls never look like this. A Lot of people have been telling me to get a diffuser...so maybe I'll give that a shot. I just don't know how I feel about wearing curly hair...I've always been a straight girl. Could take some time to get used to.

      This is your next Real Life challenge!!!!! If you want straight hair you can have it. From watching you blow dry without the correct brush that’s why it’s frizzy, I have super fine hair and definitely not as much as I had when I was young . If I blow dried my hair like that I’d have the same frizzy hair. The temperature on that blow dryer & the brush is a bigger issue than all the products you are buying. No product will give us straight hair 😂The direction you blow dry is a factor too. Unless you have thick straight hair never point that blow dryer up, always follow the hair down. Go to Sally’s and get a tight bristle round brush ( avoid metal teeth…it’ll rip the shit out of your hair. The brush should be about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, it’s less than 15 bucks, or a round boar brush with teeth that are close together, do not put a ton of slimy oil on before you blow it dry, shit is like crisco. Blow dry your hair in sections starting at the nape and work your way up in sections using the round brush. Make sure you follow the hair pointing down with the air, use medium heat only. Definitely use a heat protector, I swear you will have smooth hair and you will do a lot less damage because you really don’t have to use that flat iron as much or at a high temperature. I want to see a video of you doing this technique. And yes it may take time and practice getting used to doing it, but you will like the results, I swear….Good Luck Sheri
