“What do you mean by ‘unfindable’?”
“I couldn’t find him.”
🤣🤣🤣
You can tell he cares about relationships more than money. Clark gets respect
This dude throw around legendary names like he talking about ordinary folks. He was on the ground level. No record company would be shit without people like him.
Because they are ordinary, eat, sleep and sh!t like everybody else.
Literally record companies are a bunch of talentless ppl making bank off talented ppl with their shady yet somehow legal paperwork.
Math is killing this shit...You never know who gonna popped up in the barbershop...Math is a fan still while being in the industry..Shout out to the whole crew holding it down...Shout out to Clark Kent for bringing all the legends in the game, and still rocking Forces!
"hip hop, it started out in the park, I used to do it to avoid the narcs, I used to do it so the homeboy Clark would get the f*ck off my back while knocked off these packs. I used to rap to impress my friends, to the time when I was getting it in. Just so happened I was so illegal with the pen, they ain't want me doing anything illegal again "
Which Hov song is this ?
Jay verse on Ludacris - I do it for HipHop
🔥🔥🔥
Damn, these Clark Kent interviews have been fire🔥🔥🔥
No doubt... he's mad entertaining... like he might be a little off, but still cool.
@@KtotheG a little off how?
@@gdc6153 Like his body language and movements are a little jerky... I'm not sure if it's a physical condition or something emotional like social anxiety... Jay Z is similar in that it always looks like he's about to cry any minute... even Jay's voice quivers and quakes a bit when he talks. Being that Jay and Clark are life long friends, they probably picked up on each others mannerisms... it's just a thing I've noticed... it's probably nothing serious or big. He still seems cool and he has a lot of intelligent things to say.
Hold up! Why doesn't Clark Kent have a podcast already?🤔 This man has stage presence, charisma and stories for days!
My team and I have interviewed Jaz O a few months ago. He was so humble, enlightening, informative, and was open to answer any questions. Hoffa it’s only right to get him on the show too
Every listener should feel very privileged to be listening to legendary kōrero (talk/discussion). 💯💯
Thank you Sirs!
“ Clark sought me out, Dame believed.” Blueprint (momma loves me)
Clark Kent did it all for Brooklyn. Jay, Foxy, Shyne. Damn even Jay shouted him out in the black album.
And the blueprint
This might be the best Hip-Hop podcast of all time.

“You know how much money I make” Now look at em!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Thanks Clark
The way clark Kent described his stories it reminds me of my childhood hood in Brooklyn
i love these Gems from hip hop's past from the Men and Woman who lived it 🔥🔥
That's CRAZY Nas blew up like that overnight but had no demo.
He had a gift bro
WOW INTERNET KIDS HE WAS ON A SONG AND VIDEO. PAY ATTENTION
He does have a demo, type in pre illmatic. One of the songs has his verse from verbal intercourse.
No disrespect to math but that intro song ain't it !
🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Facts son 😂😂
You a lame
my fav stories is when people talk about Jay. it be like the greatest stories ever lol
Me is birdman N jay this two mfs got storys frfr no one did like them i swea
Clark is speaking about Tami, managing Hav&P lol. Clark is bringing up a lot of history! I'm loving it, great job guys
Jay z was calling rappers corny before this man pushed Jay to rap and become a billionaire. God bless this dude. Sidenote, I used to hear Math say hes a student of Clark Kent all the time.
WRONG JAY WAS A CORNY RAPPER IN 88 WITH JAZ
Clark Kent is fuckin groupie
JayZ's from 1996 to 2003 was top 5 mainstream & underground, no debate
He wasn't corny.If you listen to lyrics?He was a dude with potential.Searching for a style.Every MC has early work.lol
@@jamalvines2133 lmao df are you talking about 😂😂😂 the likes of Big daddy Kane a legend thought Jay was dope even with Jaz 🤦🏿♂️😂😂😂
These episodes keep getting better and better 🔥
Yeah math getting gold in these interviews, respect.
Clark got an eye for talent which goes without said
Another banger of an interview Hoffa ! Peace and blessings . Salute !
Clark a real good dude. Refreshing to see 100% people out here impacting futures.
I swear I love this podcast show .it's kinda better than drink champs .it's so real .like you in the real hood corner barbershop conversating like the camera ain't there to hear real legendary stories from guys / great legends who were actually there in real time on albums we grew up and did dirt to while listening the mid nineties 1994 to 2000 era those were best iconic times I grew up to in Lagos city nigeria listening to mostly newyork rappers the prime biggie/ nas and jay-z generation and mixtape time era 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🔥🔥🔥👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
No need to downgrade Drink Champs. Nore has turned his life around. Lets celebrate both without condescending.

Great story to hear on the 49th birthday of HIP HOP! Props Hoffa
Wow! You're paying attention! August 11th 1973 - DJ Kool Herc! Props!
I would love to see clark kent do a whole documentary on biggie and Jay Z He's very intelligent and a very good story teller
I like the clarification questions "what do you mean unfindable?" you can't just glaze over these details lol
Imagine how differently Jay-Z's life would have turned out if he hadn't received that call.
Dead, jail, or a lucky reformed business owner. More importantly, what would the rap game be if he'd missed that call?
He would still be who is today, When God has plans for you They Will Deliver one way are another. Gods plan
@@gitworldyoungworld1127 💯💯💯 FACTS!
Jay would’ve done 15 years easy with what he was doing. Meeting dame was the best thing to happen to him.
@@MinyaBihness exactly. And where did that get meech?
I'm glad Clark said that when he said dat nft bs . Everything isn't always about a dollar man we have to stop being like this. 🤦🏽♂️
Jay got an NFT
Thank you
@@Bigbizzle maybe u don't understand my comment. Because it's not about not having nft or having one
@@august_3rd you called NFT bs
facts, not everything revolves around money, there are real people involved with real relationships, money shouldn't be the end all be all and you shouldn't develop and maintain relationships only for the sake of financial gain
Proud of you Math!!! You really doing yo thing in this realm king keep going forever!!
Build, grow and enjoy the success Math. Well deserved. Another great guest for a great podcast. Salute!!!

This gonna be a GREAT ASS INTERVIEW, i was waiting for the Clark to come up there HOFFA DONE IT AGAIN!!!!🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Hearing Phade name from Clark Kent mouth is powerful wow
Respect only bro. #1 hip hop pod hands down.
Y’all should interview each other. People have become fans of the show for one reason or another but may not necessarily know your individual stories. But to be sitting in that chair you’ve gotta have a tale to tell. Put work in. You deserve to smell your flowers as well. Salute
I’m have to wait for this whole thing to drop to watch this…its to good 👍🏾
Love how passionate Clark gets
Needa take a trip to tha East since I never been n how does 1 jus be able to sit n drink watchin these legends??? Lemme knoe Math!!! Major love frm Northern Cali family 🙏🏼👌🏼🔥🔥🔥
This lil clip was lit 🔥 I need the whole interview 👂
Respect for this interview.
Episode so good I forget to hit the like button.
Honestly it worked out for Kent because jay z shouted Kent out a lot , and plus through both jay and nas career, I’m glad he got a hold of jay because nas was good but he did not have that flow and flash like jay had. And u bet anything when he said jay was at a girls house talking about him coming to Ny I bet he was in Maryland .
I'd take Nas flow over Jay's
Nahhh correction jay had the swag but nas was flowing better!!
I don’t know if he is still cool with jay z cos it’s like he was with jay z from day one
@@janeyme7070 He actually did say he is still cool with him he said when he sees him and talks to him .

Clark is a hip-hop historian. I'm surprised he doesn't have his own podcast. Whatever he's featured on I'm stopping and listening.

SALUTE.. These shits be Thourough!!🔥🔥🔥💯
Not saying that Clark made Jay more money in the long run for convincing Jay to switch up his game plan, but got damn it the irony of all of this is that JAY BECAME A BILLIONAIRE by making that life switch instead of ending up DEAD of the inevitable end game of the drug game. Clark should at least get some credit for what Jay became. What a defining moment !
I'm positive Clark wasn't the only person telling him to stop. I'm sure Jay ultimately sees it as his decision.
@@bern9642Of course, it was literally his own decision. That’s what free will means. We make our own decisions.
