Total BS But the part that touched me was how rich girls threw away what they have and poor girls are ready to sacrifice their 'freedom' their identity for a chance to live rich people's lives. We see even a chance is enough in reality shows where extreme insults and eating most repulsive things are order of the day.

IDK, this film feels like it copies Alex Rider: Point Blank, which is about a school for rebellious super-wealthy teens that "reforms" them by replacing them in a way very similar to this movie. The TV adaptation of this book came out in 2020.

Main problem i see with the replicas is them not being clones, but unrelated people with different DNA, effectively ending the family’s bloodline. Plastic surgery can fake the person, but the offspring would still look different, not to mention DNA tests, changes in appearance when aging and whatever else. So basically, they‘d have to replace the majority of the replica‘s stem cells with those from the original human until the replica eventually genetically matches. Gonna assume that‘s what they wanted from Yu‘s body, if they only wanted to kill her they sure wouldn‘t have needed the science team and an operating table for it. Still, they're literally being replaced for not fitting the model of society, and the lower class are desperate and lost enough to erases their own life for another.
