- I just met Dave, in fact we started talking with the camera on! It was very brave of him to be willing to share such a vulnerable and encouraging testimony! Talking with him reminded me of the excitement and joy of first discovering the beauty of the cross!
I'm glad to hear you got saved and rid of your addictions. I'm sure it was hard. I will be praying for you.
The 'toddler walk' analogy makes a lot of sense.
Praise the Lord. It warms my heart to see testimonies like this. I grew up in Old Colony as well. It's been 3 years since we left.
Love seeing my good friend and brother in Christ on here! I have been blessed by this testimony, and I know many others will be too. God's ways of bringing people to the truth are truly amazing!

Thank you, God bless
Thank you for sharing what God has done in your life amazing to see you free of your sins and living in a new life with Christ as the center. Praise God
All glory to God! Just rejoicing with you Dave! Even though I don’t know you, but welcome to the family of God!
@@Truthsetsusfree446 Amen!
Very encouraging to see how Gods grace is still reaching young people from a background of religion. I came from the same background and know quite well how ignorant people are about Jesus. Knowing “of“ him, but not knowing him personally as Lord and Saviour. Praise the Lord!
@@Truthsetsusfree446 Amen! It's very exciting... Gives us plenty of reason to keep sharing!
So encouraged to hear my good Buddy Dave on here! Praise God!!
Thanks Brothers.
@@forHISGlori thanks for listening and the comment!
Amen brother 🙏
Does a christian ever experience being stuck at a place barely being able to read the bible and just feeling so stuck at a place don't know what to do next. I remember being so hungry for God's word in the beginning when i was saved like he says in the video. But all of a sudden it's like life got so busy and just feel overwhelmingly stuck at a place and annoying addictions that take time away that i could use for God and his word and i just can't seem to get out. Prayed about it so much and the next thing I know doing the same things again.
Yes, I was going through that just a bit ago, and still have struggles like that, but that's where the faith kicks in. Hold yourself on Christ. In times like that Satan can make you doubt your salvation, can make you doubt your faith. But don't hold yourself to your feelings, hold onto faith. Jesus doesn't love you any less when you fail, or fall, His grace extends every day. So get up, and keep swimming. There's better times ahead, Jesus will make you stronger, and that drive for His word will return.
@davidfriesen8283 that exactly what I've been through where I start doubting if I'm really saved. Thanks for your encouragement
