Hi looking to get this as my first robot vac is it still worth it?
I got this thing. LOVE it. Cleans, really well. The only issue I had was getting it set up on the app. If you're in the US, you may have to switch your location on the settings to Mainland China. Oh, and definitely change language in settings to English. Now to get it set up on Alexa

It actually *DOES* work with Alexa, but I haven't been diligent enough in trying to get it to make it work. You have to select the Mi Asia "skill" in Alexa and set the server location to Singapore or something

I have this but why it doesn't want to go to dark places like under my bed and I have to put a table lamp under there.
And it fall down the stairs. Is there a setting or a step I missed maybe?

awesome alex...now we all needd to know is it pet proof...i.e. if my rather big dog decided that she wanted to eat it because dogs like to eat vacum cleaners...will the vac survive...and also what about pet hair is this vac good enough for picking up pet hair...i suggest that you lend it to Zi and see if his dog decides it's edible or not...you can also test the pet hair pickup as well...LOL
i was actually talking to him about that when i told him that i'm getting the vacuum, and that was the first thing he said; i don't want one because they don't vacuum dog hair too good

no, it works with any phone. Just download the Mi Home app on any Android or Apple phone. You will however have to make an account.
For the cost one one robot vacuum, you can buy two of these (actually more like 3) put one upstairs and one down. Run it on a schedule whilst at work every couple of days. And you’ll reduce that weekly vacuum to a monthly one
Couple it with the air purifier and dusting would be nonexistent.
