OK I just finished the video and I am going to make both of these the bigger one and a smaller one they’re going to be such a cute little set side-by-side together with some other farmhouse Decour that I either have or will buy thank you for this wow it is amazing and those things if you buy them their way more expensive I love it I love it I love it I love it I can’t say enough how much I love this you have done it again friend that is awesome sauce!!!!! WOW❤️❤️❤️ and for those of us on a budget I saw another video one time where you can stain wood with shoe polish from the Dollar Tree. And that’s what I’m gonna do! I think they have a very similar dark brown Color.

So crazy. About 5 years ago a friend bought a storage unit. She have me the 10 sets of Jenga that was in there.. I had to think of something to make with them...I made these exact lanterns only bigger for porch entry way...the wood glue I used was stainable wood glue so it was not a problem. This is still one of my favorite crafts!!!!

This video helped me out soooo much. I've seen many videos and tried (today) to do one of the "picture frame" lanterns. Same picture frame material (small and large), same type of paint, same amount of coats and for some reason, the larger frames came out drying PINK when it should be white. I was devastated!!!! I went on RUclips Academy (lololol) and your video was the first to pop up - never seen before! I ran out to the dollar tree and to make this short - I've made 1 lantern thus far and I'm excited and please and can't wait to make more.... I'm decorating a wedding in 2 weeks and rustic LANTERNS were the one of the requested decor and it wasn't in their budget but I still wanted to give them a few just because! THANK YOU! You've made this simple, clear, and beautiful! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!!!

Yes, i use popsicle stick to get glue out also cause i hate when the nozzle gets clogged up!
Those jenga pieces are not all equal so you really have to go through them. Some are thicker than others.

Nice! I'd like to make them for Christmas. I made one last year with pictures frames but I don't know if I like it enough 😅 Are they sturdy? Is there a specific reason why you used wood glue instead of E6000? I'm guessing the time it takes to dry, maybe?

Thanks Liz ❤️ I did one of my Jenga projects with e6000 and I had to apply twice since it wasn’t holding right. I think the wood maybe absorbed the first layer? Either way, this glue works better and is less messy for these types of projects 😊

I really like this project. My dollar tree is only selling the blocks with plain and dark tiles. I going to have to paint it black because if I stained it would look funky. Keep up the great tutorials

They didn't have the jenga game at my dollar tree but I did find jumbo popscicle sticks! They worked just as good. I stained mine grey so pretty 😍
Hi Jay wanted to share my lantern that I made. I used the Dollar Tree Jenga but combined the pieces from Dollar General Tumbling Tower pieces for the base and the top and used the Dollar Tree Jenga pieces for the columns. I’m making these as center pieces for my daughter’s rustic theme Sweet 16❤️.. Thank you so much for your wonderful video, it gave me the ideas I needed, I love your creativity, if you have any Sweet 16 Rustic ideas with Dollar Tree items please share..
