I think this dude might even have me beat for the lofty goals I have for mine(fingers crossed given business stuff works out)
K48 hydra honda based v8 at like 4.2 to 4.4L low boost 700rwhp high boost 1200hp. 1200kg or less but probably closer to 1100kg. Traction control and abs. Plus really fancy mapping and a 10k rpm redline reliably in a 6 or 7 speed sequential. Built to handle endurance racing. And a like fully custom level interior of oem quality. Bunch of like aircraft and fight pilot type inspiration but also kinda throwback to analog days.
Paddleshift sequential with electronic assistance. Plus race grade standalone abs and traction control modernization of that 90s early 2000s super car feel but with hypercar levels of performance.
Vtec means I can also have a silly wide powerband. And the 10k rpm means it'll sound nuts like the best exotics as long as the exhaust is done properly. Should sound better then the beastly built honda k series 4 bangers and similar to a ferrari but more intense.
But I'm pretty sure he's still gonna have a weight advantage on me engine wise. And the k48 is only like 315lbs xD and he's deffs gonna have a weight advantage transaxle wise with that Hollinger. Well depending on the new 7 speed porsche manual and if it can be converted to sequential.
Only advantage I'll have is fuel economy and oil usage. Maybe the aero work since I live near the cheapest rental cost wind tunnel for auto usage in the world. Well at least in North america. 2k an hour. Computer simulation and maybe 3 or 4 hours of testing in 2 sessions maybe 3 and I should be able to get a good aero plan set up for improved performance even over stock.
Pretty sure we're both gonna be able to hit that 50k miles refresh on the engine cycle. Might have him beat slightly on transmission. But weight is in his favor.

Yeah the Halltech screens and other integrated screens are great especially in modern racing making things more simple...but analog or digital/analog gauges are absolutely breathtaking..just a look and feel I think a lot of car and motorcycle people love.

If I get to build mine I'm planning on having both. Some analog gauges for boost using some plane stuff. Along with some other analog gauges or at least analog looking gauges. But also have the screens and other stuff. So I can have a whole lot of info on the screen and increase the size of the text and other stuff. And able to be toggled to various things.
But also plan on doing some cool stuff. Solid state drives in a micro pc maker board set up but with some good processing power. Udoo bolt v8 if you're curious. Car computer with a diy car LTE set up with a little Sim card based set up. And ability to have downloaded maps and music. Plus in car tuning hopefully and more extensive data logging and log backups.
But also trying to keep in luxury looking but classy.
Gonna be doing custom dash mods galore. But trying to emulate a high end interior snd use it as like a skill building and design practice experience and project.
Car computer though means more screen options plus a few custom layouts and can make use of some cool button options for stuff and use analog im puts as well as touch screen. Just not sure if I'm gonna completely replace the normal central audio head unit with infotainment or just add an additional set up.
The oem type look goal makes it hard to plan out especially given I'm trying to add a bit of storage space. And a few other one off things all at once.
But the plane boost gauge should be cool. Sweeping but has dual hands so I can monitor a few things at once. And calibrate it to work for other stuff. Thinking of trying something like it for the vehicle speed one in kmH other in mph. Also trying to modify the shift lights to go around a circular rpm gauge.
But hoping I can get the analog gauges to all work well enough I can use the central digital dash for other info like a track map or like road map. And if need be switch over to full digital dash on serious track days if it does perform better or for double checking the analogs are working or better response times and like an emergency back up. But this things gonna have better power to weight a nice interior and sound like an f1 v10.

Analog gauges are also easier to read a whole row at glance. Turning them so that a normal reading points the needle to 12 o'clock, makes it super easy to see if you've got a problem somewhere. Your eye is going to gravitate to the one that isn't at noon.

I've always preferred analog over digital gauges. The visual feedback of a needle on a gauge is an instant confirmation that things are ok (or not), and you can respond much quicker to a potential disaster and maybe shut down in time to avert a disaster With digital, you first have to correspond a rapidly changing number with a function (i.e. Oil Pressure, Water Temp., RPM) and then determine if it's within limits.. (yeah I know, the newer displays turn red when something's not right, but it's still not the same). The brain processes changes in movement much quicker than changes in rows of numbers. 😉

You know, I kind of think the car you want by the chassis you've selected, is what the Furai was. The SuperLite is a fine car but it looks a little generic but if you could, perhaps something to do with 3D design and incoming production techniques, a Tribute Furai might be in consideration. Just a thought.
