  • It's so encouraging to hear a good healing story - especially one that takes someone from excruciating pain for 15 years to pain-free.
Dan Hindsley was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease, Sciatica and Bulging discs. He went from barely able to walk to doing a Triathlon.
He did this by journaling, visualizing, somatic tracking and more.
Here is his blog and the amazing articles he has written. I love how he keeps it simple and breaks it down practically for all of us to understand.

One of my favorite interviews you’ve done, Jennifer! I loved when he basically said “I used the pain to get rid of the pain” in reference to the running. (Paraphrasing that, lol.) So helpful! Thank you! ❤

Great interview. I had heard of Doctor Sarno years ago and passed that on to someone who had chronic back pain. Now in my own healing journey from fibro/me/cfs. The mind body connection is real. Tension headaches are caused by stress for example. I just recently started doing CBT and other mindfulness techniques and see an improvement already.
We are told to “Take every thought captive” in the Bible.
    2 Corinthians 10:3-5
    God bless!

excellent & i have same "diagnosis/symptoms!" i know it's all mind body for me, but it was a blessing to hear his story. i live the analogy of glass being somewhat full of repressed/suppressed emotions &/or cumulative stressors and how the smallest thing can then create flare.
