Well deserved Andy. I enjoyed the story behind the image, the thought process and the field craft and technical aspects too. For me it adds a lot of extra interest and expands my knowledge base. Thank you!
Fair play to you Andy. You have been consistently successful over the years. I have had a few images that made it to the final judging in the BWPA but never got into the winners... Yet! I'm going to keep trying. 😊
Loving the Mayfly image and what wildlife photographer doesn't love a Dipper! The Roe deer portrait is sublime! At some point folk will realise that just owning the latest and greatest gear is no guarantee of amazing images, a fundamental understanding of all the basics of photography is key to success and field craft for nature images is worth all the gear in the world, lol. Great stuff Andy! Ps don't mean to bang on about how vital the basics are, though you know more than most that learning the fundamentals is the only guarantee to success !
Great achievement, Andy. Good tip to take a camera with you wherever you go as you never know where the next award winner will come from. Well deserved 👏

Absolutely you keep trying and keep going. Pick images that age different but that you are proud of. Keep entering!
Lovely images Andy , especially love the dipper and slow shutter use
Thanks Roy
60mm f2.8 is one awesome lens. 90mm is the go to for stacking on my OM1.
