Hello.... Waiting for your comment on the Senna Special by McLaren, it's no blue on the Ferrari, is it 😁
Max won the qualifying, the 24h and on top of that the race on Sunday. The man is completely dedicated to racing.
That now new
He was also sick.
And yet people love to hate him.
Just another weekend for Max, nothing new

Btw, Vettel putting together that Senna/Roland tribute shows to me how he could seriously become a leader in F1 or any of the teams. When Seb talks, the grid listens.
When he got the Austrian flag out of the cockpit, I burst into tears. I saw that race 30 years ago. Senna carried that flag that day in honour of Ratzenberger but of course, never got the opportunity to show it. Seeing Seb with both... Major kick in the chest. In a sort of good way, given the circumstances.
Or it’s the look of the man who just won the virtual 24hr Le Mans and then won a formula 1 race. The man is tired

True you're right but hey you never know if Max versteepnn has any stuff happened to his car Charles lecare and lando and Carlos could have a showdown between all four of them for the championship😊
This is another "Oscar is THIS close to being elite" weekend. He would've out qualified Max if he didn't lose the rear on the final corner, and his race pace was unreal for 30 laps.
Oh yes, lots of ifs; but Oscar definitely showed he's getting better. Yes, his tyre management wasn't as good as Lando's but it was good enough to keep Carlos ahead of him which is FAR better than last year.
What's with the "if"? Simple fact is he didn't out qualify Max.
Now that Oscar has got the hang of tires next he will have work on his overtaking skill.

Anyone who has followed formula 1 since the 1960’s remembers what Jackie Stewart used to say about winning. You only need to go quick enough to win as the record book doesn’t say win by an inch or a mile.
so true
Max, F1 is not the side quest! It's the main campaign!
“ it’s more like a hobby to me”
Max literally gives himself hurdles to make the season more challenging. Doing the virtual 24hr race right into Imola and winning both goes to show his power is over 9000.
A month ago everyone was saying that Perez' seat was safe in 2025 and that Tsunoda had zero chance of moving up to Red Bull next year. That prediction looks pretty shaky now.
Max has the spirit of Senna, reflexes of Hakkinen with Schumacher work ethics.
He even drops quotes like Senna does, "God may be with him, but he is not God" is one of the RAWEST quotes in motorsport history. I love Max. He's an absolute competitor.

To everyone saying that lando will be a championship contender this year is delusional. The biggest point deficit that has been turned over is 46 points in 2022 by max Verstappen to Charles leclerc. If anyone is going to have a chance at challenging max, it is Charles since he is only 48 points behind. Lando is 60 points behind. Charles has also been consistent so that is a maybe but it’s also not very likely. We will have to wait till next year. Additionally, Imola is a good track for McLaren and Norris and a less greater track for Ferrari. I would wait to see how to judge where Ferrari is. We will know around Barcelona and Canada. And teams will most likely be strongest at different tracks depending on weather and track characteristics. I’m not sure how great Ferrari will be in Monaco as I don’t think slow corners are their strength this year, but I might have to eat my words. We will see
Have you ever slipped off the ladder? I would build a seat just out of camera view lol

Tsunoda DESERVES that Red Bull seat, he’s been more cool headed, he’s a great marketing tactic and he’s been a top 8 driver this season based on true driving this season in my opinion, i think Checo hasn’t had the pace and I don’t see why Red Bull wouldn’t give him the seat
Agreed. There seems to be a bias against Tsunoda from the likes of Horner and Marko
Not going to happen. His race form has improved significantly over the past year, but he's not going to be in the running for that second seat at Red Bull. If there is a driver change, it will be Sainz. That said, I like Yuki, but he's not getting that seat.
I'm still in the Tsunoda joining AM camp, Honda really wants that in 2026 ^^
@@stephanetessier3378 I doubt that. He just doesn't have sturdiness for it. Plus there is probably more behind the scenes than what we see. The car may be improving because of Ric and not Tsunoda.

01:10 Peter Windsor said in his Imola race analysis (starting around 14:50 in his video) how he was astonished about how everyone's conclusion was that it was Hulk's tow that got Max the pole, while according to him if you look at all the mini sectors, he would've had it anyway, yes the tow helped but not by that much. Thank you SO MUCH for waiting 24 hours. I had other channels spoil the race for me just because I missed it by three hours. Love your channel and thanks again for being a gentleman about your upload times
Thank you. I also like to wait as more information comes out which could be a talking point.
So, a confession, especially as a McLaren fan:
I was more worried that Norris would make a mistake and bin it than I was expectant that he'd pass Verstappen. So honestly, the finish wasn't that tense for me.
1) I felt that Max just about had it in hand even through his struggles, especially when Norris made those tiny mistakes and therefore didn't gain as much time as he had been. I thought he'd run out of laps, which is what happened.
2) Imola's tough to pass at at the best of times, and the shortened DRS zone didn't help, yes there were some moves but others (e.g. Ricciardo and Sargeant, Piastri and Sainz) got stuck. You had to be about half a second behind the driver in front to even have a chance of making a move towards Tamburello. We saw that in F2 and it carried over to F1.
Still, really happy with P2, and it looks like McLaren are becoming more of a threat at this point, though whether they can be a consistent thorn in Red Bull's side is another matter. I do think Lando can get more wins though if the opportunity comes, and hopefully Oscar can break his duck as well.
I sensed a tone in his voice where he sounded more focused and confident. That win made a difference.
@@LawVS It probably has, yes. Now he's broken his duck and the pressure's off, it's game on. There's potentially a monster making itself known at McLaren.

I’d say Magnussen was a winner this weekend:
1. Was quicker than Hulkenberg in the first Q1 runs.
2. Did a great race, 34 laps on the mediums.
3. Made up the most positions.
4. Did this despite missing FP1.
Something I recommend looking into is Carlos Sainz Sr departure from Audi to Ford in Dakar as that possibly could be why Sainz isn’t as optimistic about Audi as he once was
My favorite thing about time zone differences is I always get to listen to your videos on my drive back from the gym to the office!
I'm always looking forward to your race reviews, they're hands down my favourite part of the post-weekend shenanigans^^
I'm also getting more and more excited about this season, Monaco quali can't come early enough!
It was awesome fight there at the end
So much for the much-hyped upgrades by Ferrari. Yes, Max was challenged but still came ahead. Checo could've done much better during Quali if he hadn't hit the kerb and screwed up his final Quali run in Q2. Also, his little 5-second excursion into the gravel trap didn't help at all. Still, not bad for starting P11 and moving up to P8. It was a bad strategy to start off on Hard compounds instead of Mediums. Here’s hoping he gets it together and improves in Monaco.
So Max wins his 59th while holding off Lando from getting his 2nd. This is why all the talk earlier this year about Max possibly leaving Red Bull was overhyped artificial drama. As long as Red Bull has the best car, Max ain’t leaving…
Oh true. That or he stops caring in general.
This week Red Bull didn't have the best car 🤔
@@LawVS Thanks, I almost mentioned that myself!
Cmon Oscar... Little more tyre management and we will get a podium and victory soon 🎉🎉🎉
It's already loads better than just a few races ago. The car is coming toward Oscar and if he can just get some little more luck he will be up there.
we may be enjoying a McLaren fight more than a just a Lando-Max fight.... although I'll enjoy both.
I'm glad Max and Lando are battling, it is incredible for us seeing 2 greats chase each other on the final lap.
Yeah, it’s great seeing someone finally challenging Max for once. Let’s hope McLaren can keep this pace going for the rest of the year.
I agree. The value of a win is higher when the winner has to fight for it harder.
Sorry “2 greats”? Verstappen is currently on the way to the GOAT conversation and the bottler on the other hand is only getting started like ocon, gasly. So please do us a favour and stop spreading bs

Another great race analysis …your driver reviews make a ton of sense. 👍
I think the Bottas to Williams move really makes sense. I forgot that Vowels had worked for years with Bottas at MB, and that it would be a comfortable play for them vs getting another rookie.
Alex has done well, as George did there, because they were aggressively whipping a sub standard car to perform better than it should have. Logan doesn’t have the years of experience to do that, and with the Williams still a work in progress, you need that vast experience Bottas has to make something work when it isn’t readily achievable.👌
So I hope that does happen…he would also push Alex a bit too, which wouldn’t be a bad thing either…and James could spend his time fixing the car vs worrying about the drivers….😁👍
LANDO PRIME ACHIEVED!
its so amazing to see what hunger it unleashed in him. but he has to now train to handle the car on the edge better.
As a Max fan, I want him to win the championship, but I also want other drivers to win some races, especially Piastri.
but did you notice max suddenly slowed down after gp warned him about track limits
Great video
I also some article about Carlos Sainz link to Alpine(even if i doubt that will happen with Team's current health).
Hahah inside scoop on the Bottas coffee situation!: I don't think he was lying. On the 24 hrs stream from Max, they mentioned that a coffee machine of one of the drivers caused some sort of power outage which caused issues for Max's sim rig in his motorhome. Apparently that coffee machine was Bottas'! So it kinda makes sense :)
I think in situations like Oscars in quali it should be a team fine not a grid penalty since even in his mirror he wouldn’t have seen magnessen behind due to his track position
The Foam of Doubt should be consulted more. I think it's onto something.
Just in time for lunch, truly, truly lovely.
George suggesting hamilton should give him the position after the pit was crazy though🤣
His monocle popped off at the shenanigans.
No, because he didnt need to pit, it cost him a place when they didnt have the pace to compete..

Oh, and Hawaiian? The Devil's Pizza.
5:27 "...regarding Lando, him getting his first win has unlocked something."
THE FORCE!
Lol
Lando passing Max if he had a few extra laps is pure fantasy!!! If Piastri, who was much faster than Lando, could only pass another car through a pit stop, what makes you think Lando had a chance,on worn out tires, to have of over taking Max??? Ha-ha
If Max's qualifying at Monaco is anything like his Q3 last year then no-one else is getting close.
The RB/Aston (and HAAS at a stretch) battle is quite good though, looking forward to seeing how that plays out.
Looks like the win was what Lando needed, he has unlocked Lando PRIME!! His hair might turn yellow, we just cant see under the helm xD
A couple of observations for what they are worth....
1. Ferrari was supposed to have massive upgrades, fully tested due to the "filming sessions". Y!et, they failed to beat McLaren, let alone Max. Ferrari fans have to be discouraged.
2. The past few weeks, McLaren has been better in the race on hard tires, but RB has been better on Soft/Medium. Upcoming races @Monaco and Canada are not hard tire races.
3. vCarb has to be disappointed. Alonso scored 0 points, but they let Stroll out point them
The tow from Hulkenberg wasn't enough. Even Peter Windsor said after viewing the telemetry that he gained very little because he was already fastest in the first sector. He gained a lot in sector 2 and 3 even with the mistake in the last corner. He would have gotten the pole without the tow. There are videos on youtube showing exactly where he had the advantage.
Your depiction of Max at the Post race press conference is what a brilliant driver looks like after winning a 24 hr sims race & an F1 Imola race at the same time. ha-ha
Imagine how you would feel if you were in his place!!!! ha-ha
Just one thing to note that hardly any media have commented on regarding qualifying (I think I've only seen a couple mention it includng Peter Windsor), Oscar also got a tow in qualifying on his final Q3 run, from Ricciardo. It wasn't as powerful as the one Max got but is was worth about a tenth. Neither Lando or Charles got a tow of any sort. It's part and parcel of racing of course, and luck of the draw, but if people are going to go on at Max for getting that tow it's only fair for Oscar's is mentioned as well imo.
Also, much as I agree that Merc have pulled away from Aston now and are a clear 4th, Toto said after the race that they pulled George in because he had cooked his tyres, Lewis was rapidly catching him and Merc's data was showing them that George could also have been in danger from Checo by the end of the race.
Max and Lando were both excellent. Those last 20 laps, with Lando pushing 20 solid laps right on the ragged edge and managing to hold on to it even in dirty air with 30+ lap old tyres that were sliding by the end was incredibly impressive, as was Max managing to push as much as he was able with a draining battery and having to watch track limits. The kind of fight and display of talent that those of us who love the sport so much really love to see. Oscar, Charles and Yuki were also all very good. Some of Yuki's overtakes were top drawer.

@@LawVS I'm imagining Clarkson saying that while piloting a 7 litre malaise-era boat with 160HP.
Piastri has really picked up his qualifying game since the mclaren upgrades .
Something that isn't helping Ricciardo is the rb cooks its front tyres as soon as there's another car about 2 seconds infront of it , Tsunoda has the same issue but has been lucky enough to find himself in fresh air quite often , you may have noticed that most of his overtakes are on fresh tyres 👍
Felt sorry for Alonso at Imola , hopefully it was just a one off ... I'd say part of astons issue was due to having such a big change to their car , it responds differently to changes .
I still think Max wins the title handily. BUT! Constructor's Championship could be very, very interesting.

I'm glad I'm not the only frustrated with the TV directors showing a fight for 14th when Norris was gaining on Verstappen
Lando took the advice of LawVS
man I hate how people dismiss Max lap and put it down to the tow, it helped a bit but look at the facts he gained 2 tenth in the straight but because of the over speed he made a small error in the first chicane and lost that, overall he was only 0.02 up on his previous sector 1 time...meaning even without the tow and had he just matched his first run sector time he would have been still on pole...Pole was won on sector 2 and 3
I disagree because in sector 2 and 3 he was slower than leclerc and Piastri and norris (maybe it's because of the mistake he did in last corner ) but you get the point , but still max did excellent put himself in that position
@@HassenCans yes he was slower in sector 3 but I'm just saying putting it all down to the tow where he barely gained in sector 1 is wrong
Sorry, facts don't matter when there's a narrative to hype.
At least he pointed out that Yuki held up Max for about a second, so Lando was beaten by 1.7 seconds if you use the qualifying logic.....
I don’t think so. He gained a tenth from Hulk’s tow in S1. And I think Charles could have gotten pole if it weren’t for Carlos ruining their outlap. He was going too slow and it ended up costing tyre warm up. That’s why we saw Charles get a yellow S1 and then a purple S2. If Carlos would’ve gone the correct delta, the tyres could’ve properly warmed up and Charles could’ve been on pole. Same goes for the McLarens
Like I said at the start of the season. The VCaRB01 was dialed down at the start of the season to make the "it's an RB19EVO"-narrative go away. They are opening up its potential, but they are still being careful with it.
Peter Windsor disagrees with you about the significance of Hulkenberg's tow. If you take the first sector in the first run in Q3 (without the tow), then Max is still on pole. Also, Oscar apparently got a (involuntary) tow from Ricciardo.
Very happy for Oscar!!
Max's answer was not letting him in the drs.... Max had all the answers this weekend...
Your my favroite f1 youtuber cuase you are funny
4:52 Do you think it's tyre wear or temperature? Because the wear seemed quite alright for Lando, of course Oscar 100% suffered from this I don't think that's the cars fault at all. it seems like they're a bit more similar to RedBull now where they struggle to generate heat on certain tracks and conditions, but once they're in a good window it's game on.
McLaren was a loser for stuffing up Oscars podium or possible win. He didn't even need to be out on track and then they don't tell him that Magnussen is behind him until his car was in his exhaust.
Yes, I am quite sore about it but at least their Miami upgrades weren't a one-hit wonder.
17:31 Such a missed chance to use "Guenther would have *HUGGED* the whole paddock for having both cars in points" :D
First timed lap of Q3 Verstappens sector 1 (without the already overhyped tow) was still fast enough for pole.
Lance Stroll was the major unexpected drive of the race. Hopefully this Stroll turns up more for Aston Martin. It'll be great for Aston Martin results and doing damage control and repair.
Also @lawvs I stand corrected on my ealier statement and see what you mean with Succes vs Dominace. I believe Red Bull's dominance is over and McLaren is back.
I'm ready for Fer vs McLaren!
But right now Lando and Max having to give all to get a win is so much more fun.

VAMOS JOSHUAAAA 🇵🇾🇵🇾🇵🇾 so proud!!!
I was a doubter but gotta give credit where credit is due. Lando prime is real
Well when you pronounce pineapple like that…I can’t help but agree with you
Rest of teams are catching up guys. Really wished the new regs would be pushed back a year or so. We should get good racing this year but I think next year is gonna be one of the greatest seasons.
Piastri has stepped up this year, his misfortune is causing him to finish behind Norris but I think that he is on par now. Easily the best driver lineup.
Not sure I can agree with you regarding your tow comment. If you look over the whole lap and how much did Max actually gain? Peter Windsor has a pretty good break down on that. Regarding RBR and Checo, and there may be a dash of bias here being a kiwi, but I would put Lawson in the second car, take the opportunity to develop the a strong second driver and get him ready to take over from Max when that day eventually comes. I think Riccardo has consistently been out performed by Yuki Tsunoda and is Yuki a title contender?
Well hey i wouldn't mind having Max versteepnn vs lando and Charles lecare for the championship this year should definitely be fun regardless of what happens.😊
Mike Krack sick of people making disparaging comments about Lance Stroll --- he really, really needs to watch the latest rocketpoweredmohawk video! 😂😂😂😂
LOL yeah, that was brutal
Stroll is still crying 😭
Mclaren is the fastest car ..... The there is the Max factor 🧐
Do you have another channel
The Hulkenberg tow theory has been disproven.
Mercedes have a 2nd seat they want kept warm for Antonelli when he is ready. Yuki does not have a contract for next year but has earned a chance at a top team. Give him a one year contract and see how he does.
At least the whole season won't be Max winning by 19 seconds. It is nice to have the other drivers and teams at the front challangeing Max and Red Bull.
Even without the tow from Hulk, Max would've been on Pole.
Arise.... Lando Prime *hair metal intensifies*
Not sure what was wrong with Checo here, but even on much fresher medium tyres he couldn't gain any time on Lewis who was on much older hard tyres. Checo was just slow this race. Aside from being stuck behind some medium runners early in the race (that all pitted really early to cover each other) and some traffic right after his pitstop when he was on fresh mediums against much slower cars, he mostly had clear air this race, yet he couldn't even get close to the Mercedes cars, Russell even did a two-stop strategy and still stayed ahead of him.
Also yes, this year is pain for Williams. With all the crashes and issues from the first couple of races they are probably also behind on upgrades, 9th in the constructors might be the best they can achieve. The car is often the slowest on the grid, though Alex did show decent pace at times, even able to unlap himself from Alonso at some point. Granted, Alonso had older tyres and Alex was a lap down on him, so Fernando probably didn't fight it too hard, but it's something. Main thing to be happy about right now is that they managed to sign Alex for a couple more seasons.
OR....hear me out.....maybe he looked like that because he hasn't gotten much rest spending so much time sim racing over the weekend. Congrats to him and his team for winning that title btw 🙏
Cmon Law you getting way ahead of yourself. Norris tires was gone as well, he burned them trying to catch Max, like Jordan said he didn't think Lando could have passed Max even if there was another 15 laps !!! By the way EVERYBODY knows Imola is 63 laps and "IF" my mom had balls she would be my dad !!
I know, Lando basically changed his balance to nuke his front tyres to catch up. It was a do or die and it almost worked.
