That 2022 playoff game against the Niners the defense held a hot team that was averaging 30 pts a game when Purdy came into the lineup to under 20 points on the road despite Dak's two picks that lead to 6 of those points. That season (2022), had they gotten past 49ers, Cowboys would have faced Eagles in NFCCG, team Cowboys seemed to get their way with for most part. That may have been year Cowboys get to Super Bowl. 49ers were probably thinking to stop run and dare Cowboys to throw the ball, and it worked.
They had most talent in 2021 and lost in Wild Card round against those same 49ers.

In 2021 the cowboys had the #1 ranked offense. With the “running game” coming in 9th that season. The oline was ranked 1st by PFF. The weapons on the offense were CeeDee, Amari Cooper, Gallup, Shultz, Zeke and Pollard. And the defense led the league in INTs. I’ll just leave this here. Come to your own conclusions.

Dak can get out if he really wanted simply by asking to trade him or waiving the no trade clause but he doesnt really want to go because he will most likely lose a bunch of endorsement deals and JJ knows it ! This is why JJ is going about this the way he is. I would love to see if Dak would waive his no trade clause and see if JJ truly seeks a trade for him. JJ's game is letting Dak hit FA in 2025 and let other teams price him then he'll come back to Dak on JJ TERMS without any BS no clause and no franchise tagin contract. I am a 55 year old lifelong Dallas fan. Watched them win 4 SB's...once in person. Not a Dak apologist at all. In all fairness to him our D sucked ass against Green Bay. Our run D was comical and the camera had to zoom out to see a DB in the zip code of any receiver.
Yes but dak is part of the reason the defense got torched. Think about it. The defense was constantly on the field in the 1st half with all the 3 and outs dak had and the 2 ints. Defense didn't play well but I can't be too mad at them cause they were always on the field and had to be tired

People need to look at the root of problem instead of just getting rid of Prescott. The root of the problem for almost 30 has been the front office, the same front office who refuses to hired a real GM and FOOTBALL PERSONNEL to run the Cowboys. The foundation of any NFL TEAM is having a great front office which the Cowboys have lack for decades, that just a fact. People just want to be so right and say just get rid of Prescott and that will solve the Cowboys woes which is BULL SH*T and I don't care who disagree. The Cowboys are going to continue to go through this cycle every year of never winning anything as long as they have the same front losing office running the Cowboys. This is not defending Prescott at all because he has failed and I been one of Dak biggest critics for 8 years but it goes beyond Prescott and people should know that.
