Who’s still listening in August 2024 😊❤️
I was in mood for some nostalgia and this song did it for me❤❤ Greetings from Cape Town 😘😘😊
me too❤ from Japan😘😘😊
September 2024
Fucking everybody. This is Carole King - she's a fucking legend :/
Fucking everybody. I know I'm a bad man but ... I still would.
Joni Mitchell and James Taylor on background vocals. What a trio on one song!!
thank you general poster. i never knew that joni mitchell was part of this unforgettable recording.
Everyone says it’s someone different…😂 I would read the notes
@@sahej6939no, it is James Taylor on guitar, and Joni on background vocals
I don't know why listening to these songs makes me cry😢😢❤❤
I have been with my partner for 25 years and she has given me 2 wonderful daughters. I ended up in a wheelchair 6 years ago. But songs like this give me energy. Just like my family gives. Thank you carol for a wonderful version of your song.I just love it.🎤💕
My first love 1973 he sang it to me! Beautiful melody! 😍
One of the greatest songs of innocent young love. A true classic ♥️ 🙏🏻
This has always been the definitive version of an ageless classic to me. People will still listen to Tapestry 200 years from now and be reminded of a time when things were simpler and more heartfelt.
Remember when the album came out. I was a young woman in my 20's. Loved it then and now listening to it as a senior I still appreciate its beauty. It really aged well!!!!!!@
I was 12 when it was released, purchased with my allowance money! Listened to and sang along, so, so many times...engraved on my heart forever.
It was the first LP I bought. 💕
@@reginaschellhaas1395 on wich year was released? I know the version singed by the Shirelles come in the 60's but this one sung by miss King itself I don´t remember if it appeared at late 60's or early 70's
@@dygy7193 This version was released on King's famous 1971 album, "Tapestry". It was fascinating to me , at the time, that Carole King had written so many familiar and very popular songs from the 60s! "Tapestry" was very popular, and won many awards.
If you are interested, Wikipedia (English) has a very long and interesting biography about Carole King. It's very pleasant to talk to you, as we both love this wonderful music! If you have more questions, I will try to answer.
Hard to imagine, right? There with you.....
By far the most beloved of all Carole Kings tune and music 🎵 well loved music!!!
The song is timeless.......
Reading Carole 's biography right now.
one of the greatest songs ever written
Truth!
that's a LoT of territory ... especially if you have not heard every song ever written!
not to be rude but its just cute lyrics.
You ain’t lying.
It’s actually a cover of The Shirelles’ song Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow (1961)
I was born in 1971, and this song is one of my favorites. Greetings from Peru.
This song can be felt in the SOUL.♥️
For sure ! !💙🎹🎼
🎶
Yes… soooo true!! You should hear Laura Brannigan, sing it too❣️❣️. Pure magic!!!!!
KAROLE KING .. THE BEST SINGING THIS SONG
Such a beautiful voice and talented composer Timeless songs Thank you
What a treat for my ears.
That's precisely what it is, and has been for decades.
My youth.. THE BEST CAROLE KING LOVE YOU
This was playing when I was in bed with a guy called Kelvin in the early 1970's. I loved the song, but sadly he used me for just that one night. But I still love this song
Carol, your a national treasure
One of the greatest records of all time! Carol with her girl next door voice, perfect!
… Tonight you're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
But will you love me tomorrow?
… Is this a lasting treasure
Or just a moment's pleasure?
Can I believe the magic of your sighs?
Will you still love me tomorrow?
… Tonight with words unspoken
You say that I'm the only one
But will my heart be broken
When the night meets the morning sun?
… I'd like to know that your love
Is love I can be sure of
So tell me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow?
So tell me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow?
Will you still love me tomorrow
That's James Taylor in the left speaker. Beautiful and lovely these two together.
I love Carol King music ever since
I was introduced to Carol King by my mother. I remember hearing her playing one of her songs and I just had to know who it was. Been a fan ever since.
My first love during junior high school had this LP when it came out. She played it over and over. We loved it and each other back then. Life sucks because there are no do-overs.
I'LL LOVE YOU AND GERRY FOREVER!!! Love you menchem GOATS! Yours and Gerry tunes are the best, with no superlative good enough to describe your talents!!!
My dear Carole. You don’t know me. I don’t know you. But your music touches me. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. God bless you. 🙏
Spot on.
Oh you're welcome honey. I enjoy making people like you so happy!😄😄😄😄😄😄
She set the standard, not only for great songs, but for women composers.
A Masterclass
Always loved Carole’s version and the way she did this song. Beautiful song all around but this one is so poignant.
This was my first "grown up" album. To this day I love every song on this.
Tapestry was an absolute seminal album. It was cross generational. Junior high kids to grandmothers had it. Hard core socialist stoners to "easy listening" republican adults had it. I don't know if you can say it about any other album of any generation.
It’s definitely a classic!
carol king;s tapestry and joni mitchell's blue opened the doors for all the female singer songwriters@@paulisaac78
One could legitimately argue that THIS is the greatest popular music recording ever made.
...likely the most poignant song ever written by the musically immortal: Carole King
...included on what is easily arguable the greatest album of all time: Tapestry.
Oh yeah... with background vocals by fellow immortals: James Taylor and Joni Mitchell
Does It Get ANY Better Than That??? Possibly... But not in my experience!!!
What a talented song writer
This song was written by Gerry Goffin. The only thing Carole King added to this song was her name.
All killer no filler, I discovered this album a few weeks ago....I'm enraptured
The Wonder Years!
Fellas, the message is: respect and honesty.
One of the best...Such an emotionally true song for women....
Love Walt Mason. Carole King is Beautiful
Beautiful song! I have this album and love all of it.

Uno de los temas más románticos que he escuchado … y siempre siento la misma emoción…. Maravilloso!
❤
Yes I will
We had no idea how lucky we were to grow up in the 60s - 80s. Music like this just emerged week after week like background radiation.
Already knew this song through Amy Winehouse's version, but now I'm here after reading on NPR that the backing vocals were sung by Joni Mitchell (and James Taylor)!
here after taylor's performance & the original song is also very good😩💗
If I was doing Carole King at Workpower Rockstar Music Rocks Australia in future, I'd be doing this song-Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
With a song in my heart, memories of good and jilted love relationships. This about a jilted one.
Fantastic memories.....✌✌✌✌♥️♥️♥️♥️
❤😊 I am a new widow after the most amazing 40 years I could have ever dreamed ❤ I was SO EXTREMELY BLESSED 🙏🏻💘I💫 to music allot as an extremely large part of my grieving INSTANTLY by finding this AMAZING ARTIST🙏🏻💕💕🌟🌟
THANK YOU
Yes i will!
Wonderful rendition by the composer herself. So many great versions of this song. Just saw the Taylor Swift cover, and a few months ago, the Shirelles, who were the first I heard sing it back in '61. I like the Shirelles presentation; so quaint in a HS gymnasium, takes me right back there.
What about Laura Branigan's cover version?
I heard this song in the Korean movie "Yeolhansi/11am". Great movie, great song :)!
I'm here becuase taytay cover, this is so amazing
And taytay cover amazing too.
Collab for this version, so good
And the days... after
Probably the greatest era of music ever. I don't think it will ever be surpassed and Carole King sits proudly amongst some of the Greatest Of All Time.

Taylor’s is a nice tribute but this is Definitely the best version! ❤
Who is still listeningin sepetember 2024
I imagine thousands of us listen to Carole king. If not I could listen to her voice all day! Everyday.
bella canción
😢this makes me cry
I'm from a generation that grew up with Carole King and that believes in love, the generations after me believe in sentimental affairs and are unhappy.
I'm from a real time where art was real and people really loved and formed homes.
Today is hell on earth, other times, damned times, don't just be happy with yourself, whoever formed your solid and loving family would never trade it for anything, manginism kills people without them knowing it takes away the will to live and to love, and who has lost the will to love and be loved, has already died and doesn't know...
You're delusional if you think you can generalize entire groups of people this way. People were the same then as they are now.
Anyone remember this from the woder years. The old one
Me Deena cross❤

Una canzone meravigliosa
I've always wondered with nowhere to ask...at what tempo was Carole's original intention of this treasure, one of my favorites since the early 60's and again in 1971?
This song was written by Gerry Goffin. The only thing Carole King added to this song was her name.
May I wonder ? Were you there ? One of the most popular song in french speaking Canada, Ordinaire, was written, lyrics and music, by Charlebois. But from the start and decades later he credited his girlfriend for using her ideas on a note book… who knows ms King contribution to this great song ?
@@SleazyNice Carole has stated that Goffin wrote the lyrics. Given her piano ability I can't see any merit in that comment

I already do. Bill.
Nice version it. The original by The Shirelles still does it for me ❤

I'm here to just listening the original masterpiece of the song while I heard taylor swift sang with it.
A question every woman should ask before engaging on a one-night stand
This isn't about a one night stand. It's about consummating a relationship. Having sex for the first time/making the relationship complete.
That would preclude a lot of fun ...
@Richard lll brinker who says that makes it complete? 🙄
@@certainlysoup508 The dude looking for booty.
This is an all too relatable song for most people.
Here i ' m eating my love.
Came here after Taylor Swift performance 😍
Taylor Swift can not hold a candle to this wonderful version, nobody sings this like Ms. King can. 👍👍
You can just say you love this version without putting others down weirdo. We love Taylor's version too and that's amazing too and this is the original so it's also amazing.
I agree!! 100%!
ofc it's Carole's song, she's the one who wrote this but we shouldn't discredit Taylor's talent because she's also one of the best singer/songwriter in this generation.

Absolutely!!!!
No because I know this is the original and the best version.
No, but I'm happy that more people are discovering this version. Carole King is a blessing.
