I was in the crowd. What an awesome night. Left on such a high. Who needs drugs when you can do this. Amazing job getting a group of random peeps to sing such beautiful harmonies. Love your work Astrid in conducting this & everyone else involved. Can’t wait for the next event
That most have been so thrilling, and magical. It literally makes me cry just seeing such a large group of ppl all collectively sharing one experience, the fact that a ton of you, completely strangers at that, all are sharing a core memory. The amount of love and harmony that seems too be in that room, gosh, it’s overwhelming. I’m so happy you got to experience this.

It feels like the whole world is singing this song nowadays. It feels like a beacon of light at the end of the tunnel. I remember when I first discovered her and this song specifically, I felt like I had been saved from the darkest time in my life. It fills my heart with immense joy seeing this.

Amazing! Among the destruction, wars, poverty, global warming, all the hate and eveil of that world, the spark is being ignited... All because, old forgotten song of my childhood, which emerged with triumph for all young and old watching Stranger Things. Kate Bush won a ticket on lottery - YT and social media are flooded with lots of gigs and performances by many different artists and amateurs. And it is great! And I am so happy that Public Choir is among them. It is great, original approach. Well done! It is fantastic to live now and witness such glorious moments! ❤

I love it!!! And I so hope Kate Bush sees this. I've loved her since... well, since this song, actually. I'm so damned happy to see it in the awareness of new generations. It meant a lot to me as a kid. It means even more to me now, as an adult.

Kate Bush, and particularly this song, is certainly youth sentiment for me. Seeing all those smiling faces singing together, just for the fun of it, is amazing.
I used to be in the school choir in secondary school in the early 90s. It was fun to do for 2 or 3 years, but one of the reasons I quit was that our teacher and choir leader chose very old-fashioned music. The 'coolest' thing in the concerts was music from hís youth (The Beatles e.a) or an Elton John ballad. We actually asked for both Wuthering Heights - since the song was used during our English Lit classes - and Running up that Hill, after all most of us loved that song still back then & it has the potential for nice harmonies.
I already knew back then I could forget about the chance to ever include Metallica, but that too Stranger Things fixed for me 🫡🤗🤘. I'm happy to see both have gotten new life. If it was up to me, more great 80s music would get a reprise/revival like Bush's song, whether through new covers, the original being replayed, or cute renditions like this. Well done, Brisbane.

Look, I dont mean to be a dick, but this channel seriously needs to up its choir mic game. Hanging mics, planted pedestal mics, personal Lavaliers, whatever.... this kind of content would be EXPONENTIALLY improved by better mic positioning. PLEASE take this into account with your wonderful exposition.

How is this for synchronicity or mental telepathy? I was reading about this in yesterday's Friday, July 15 'The (Melbourne) Age' newspaper, page 15, today -' Kate Bush stuns choir from over the hill and far away', with a photo, by Cameron Atfield. I got up, turned on the computer to You Tube and there you all were exactly as in the photo. Wow! You all made my heart sing. What a beautiful blessing of loving goodwill you have given to Kate Bush and the world. Thank-you so much. It makes me proud to be an Aussie.
