I always experience a certain frisson of excitement when I see you starting off with a red base to a new creation. It always seems to emit a definite glow to the finished painting. I love this new creation very much, a lovely way to start the weekend. Thank as always for posting. Happy weekend!
WOW It was amazing watching you create something from nothing. I don't know if you had it in mind, or if you had a reference, or if you just created it! It's beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Karen I read you said you have about 40 colours on your palette. How do you stop them from drying out? You seem to go inso quickly like they are all poured out in front of you. This is another beautiful masterpiece. You are one clever cookie for sure. Thank you.
They stay wet on the palette while I'm working. When I'm finished for the day I spray the palette with water and cover with 2 lids from storage bins, cover that with several old bath towels, then cover that with plastic. Depending on the temperature they will stay moist for several days.
amazing technique. Do you do formal tutorials with comments and suggestions for beginners, or only these youtube ones? It'd be great to hear your ideas on how we could try to paint your technique
Thank you for watching, Andrew, and for your comment. What I have to offer are my RUclips videos. These are a glimpse into my process and not meant to be a tutorial. I can't seem to think, work, talk, and be entertaining all at the same time. I work intuitively and have no idea how to teach that. I wish you much success.
Have a beautiful weekend🙂💛🙂☀️ ...we just got a message hubby said "our paintings will be delivered tonight!!! Wow! Faster than I can send to my brother 45 miles away & you are what?!! ~2347!!!! miles apart!!! Thank you in advance for what I know we will love. Sincerely, C & JR
Hi Karen Nice to know that a canvas can be reused liked the finished painting also wondering do you pre setup your colour palette? Have a wonderful week 💛uk

So enjoyed this. I'm an oil painter but sure loved the water spritzer, wonder if could incorporate it in oil with thinner?
Thanks for the comment. I haven't worked with oils so have no idea if the thinner would work or not. Try it.
Hi Karen
