Boeing B-787-9 United Airlines Landing in Papeete

Der ganze Flug von San Francisco bis Papeete war, verlichen mit dem Flug von Frankfurt, eher unruhig und man musste sich oft anschnallen. Die Turbulenzen waren jedoch nicht besonders stark. Der Anflug erfolgte dann mit recht hoher Sinkrate und voll ausgefahrenen Störklappen. Kurz nach der Landung fing es kurz leicht an zu regnen und durch die Luftfeuchtigkeit waren Fenster schnell beschlagen. Insgesamt war der Flug mit United Airlines ok, was jedoch extrem nervig war, waren die vielen Borddurchsagen und dass man sich für jeden kleinen Wackler anschnallen musste.
The whole flight from San Francisco to Papeete was, compared to the flight from Frankfurt, a bit bumpy and you often had to buckle up. However, the turbulences were not particularly severe. The approach twas with a fairly high sink rate and fully deployed spoilers. Shortly after landing, it started to rain lightly and the humidity quickly made the windows foggy. Overall, the flight with United Airlines was ok, but what was extremely annoying were the many announcements and that you had to buckle up for every little bump.
