  • In a 1998 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, the Bengals pulled off the upset after Neil O'Donnell hit Carl Pickens on the game-winning touchdown pass, which came off of a fake spike. The incredible part? Pickens had no idea what the play was. This is the story behind the craziest fake spike in the history of the NFL

      Steelers had an epic collapse that season. Started 7-4 finished 7-9. Kordell was stinking up the three rivers and crying on the sidelines

    I still think Stafford's was ballsier because if he failed to score, the game was over. If this was incomplete, the bengals could've just kicked a field goal with a halted clock. Great video though

    These 1981-2003era uniforms were the best the Bengals ever had.

      The ones from 1997-2003 were slightly different than the 1981-1996 unis, since the flying tiger logo was introduced in 1997. I do love the jerseys and pants. Those block numbers need to return

    The 1998 Bengals could be the Steelers, so at least they could say that they made things miserable for a division rival.

  • @Biggdoom344
    @Biggdoom344 3 года назад +2

    That 98 Steelers team was a headache to watch. They would miss the playoffs due to losing to three bad teams..bengals twice and lions. They also blew fourth quarter leads v lions, bengals, Titans. They should have been 10-6 and a wild card. This was the beginning of a three year slide where the Steelers would miss the playoffs. This bengals team would not win another game until playing the Steelers that December with a 2-12 record.

    The AFC Central was weird in the last years before realignment.
    In the three years of the Browns being shut down, only 2 of the division's teams were actually based in the Central states - Cincinnati and Tennessee. The other 3 - Baltimore, Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh - were all in East Coast states, and the former two were East Coast cities.

      Who should be the head coach of the Bengals, or most of the NFL teams not named the Chiefs. Minus those that have won one Super Bowl and have a job.

    There was another fake spike by the Cincinnati Bengals Where Jeff Blake fake spiked the ball on a very 1st play of the game and through an 80 yd pass to Carl Perkins for for the touchdown.
