This is a short video showing me install a Retro Flyer DLX preamp I recently purchased from Avion Studios.
First impressions are this seems a really well made product. It is packed with features and quality components. I plan to follow up this video cover the features and sound in more details in the future once I have had a good chance to fully explore it.
I already have a suitcase Peterson preamp for my Fender Rhodes Piano, though usually I use the dry signal straight from the harp, I find it has a certain sparkle.

Note: This video just shows some of the steps to install a preamp. It is important to follow all instructions carefully.

Awesome. good tutorial.. Been thinking about doing this myself to my rhodes. But Im too scared to make the change, I love my baby how she is.

I understand that feeling well, though it is a reversible change and so far I am really enjoying the extra features.

Please drop me an email and I will go through it with you. The custom charges were less than I expected.
