I’m very pleased that my SMArt car had to go in for a repair to the roof under warranty a few days before I was due to go and see my first cousin in Edinburgh!! I had to let the train take the strain!!
I had two minor collisions with my SMArt car. The only damage was a tiny dig in the rear wing. It was generally a good city car and showed great resilience.
Well I had a SMArt car in 2003, and loved it until 2008. Mine was a Passion Cabrio, as she was known. Her body colour was Phat Red, the trim around the windows was silver and the ragtop was black.
Having owned 1 city coupe 1 four two. And two Roadster coupe . I can contest that the Smart is an amazing car . London the Edinburgh several times and France. I would have another in a heart beat
I used to put £20 in my petrol tank. Since going for my current Renault Zoe, I have been using £15 of electricity a fortnight. Now you will probably understand why I went electric and now prefer electric.
I couldn’t stand the discomfort for holiday journeys the tiny car provided. I was pleased to change her in for my last ever fuel burner, a 2008 Honda Jazz.
Would I have another SMArt For Two? Absolutely not!! I wouldn’t be able to fit all my luggage in the boot!! Neither would I be wanting to even look at one.

We have the 4-door version in the same colour.
Smart call it Pink?
Twice I have had to explain to coppers, that I did not repaint it.

A 453 owner here. Leave any messages below. They're great cars!
Yes we love ours
The only problem with the electric drive model is that it doesn’t take a rapid charge. It doesn’t even have a CCS socket!!
I couldn’t even consider a car that doesn’t have a digital radio included in the base model!!
They’re great for parking, but that’s about all.
I still wouldn’t be able to fit my electric bicycle as well as the other holiday luggage!!
