Tandem Skydiving at Skydive Langar: Promo Video

A tandem skydive is the perfect option for someone who wants to experience the thrill of skydiving for the first time. On arrival at the skydiving centre, you'll receive a short brief which will cover all of the safety aspects of tandem skydiving, plus some more information about how tandem skydiving works. You'll then take a 15 minute plane ride to our exit altitude of 14,000 feet.
A tandem skydive starts with you hanging out of the door of the aircraft - attached to your tandem instructor at 4 points. Then it's into freefall, which is around 50 seconds of falling at upwards of 120mph - the exhileration and adrenaline you'll feel are like nothing else!
The parachute ride takes about 5 minutes, during which you'll enjoy the views over the Vale of Belvoir and beyond.

I've been in there and the tandems were freaking out! I love seeing the look on their faces. I remember that feeling fondly! I've also seen Marines ride the plane back down and I have a lot of respect for anyone that even attempts skydiving. It will change the way you look at fear and it really is medicine. If you know, you know.
