Exactly what I was looking for I've had this press for a couple of years and I'm getting into sublimation I mainly was looking for a review about the mug press because I love big mugs!!! And was hoping I'd be able to use the press I already have for big mugs. Thank you
Hi. Thank you for the video. Can you give any feedback on how it has held up? Vevor products are notorious for breaking before the warranty is out and people are unable to get it fixed. Can you let us know how it has performed over time?
I agree… you do explain things really well. Love all the “technical” terms. I found your channel while looking for a video explaining all the parts to my 8 in 1 heat press. The little Manual doesn’t provide a lot of information. Thank you for being so detailed. Donna Coastal Georgia Zone 8B!
Hi Liz, I ran across your video while in search for one with clarity about using this machine. Thanks for the clear demonstration on how to use this heat press- all the different parts. I subscribed to your channel. I have one question. Is there a specific type of printer that I need to use for stuff to transfer properly from the paper on to my items when using the Vevor 8 in 1 heat press, or will any printer work? I'm asking because I'm doing other things right, but my stuff isn't transferring on to my t-shirts. So, I'm wondering if it's that I'm using the wrong type printer, or perhaps the wrong sublimation paper.
Loved the video. Today, I received the Vevor heat press. The booklet that comes with the machine is minimal. This video helped understand how to connect and use them. Thanks so much.
Thank you very detailed I have that same machine didn’t realize all those attachments 🤦🏽♀️ never used them….thanks for the breakdown cause I have a order for the caps💜
I found with the swing away models.... the suction cups gave way.... top-heavy ...(or back-heavy) on my way to home depot plywood and screws and two clamps to solve that problem!
That’s the same heat press I had. It was great at first but then the nut that holds the press together in the centre came lose and was impossible to get in to tighten it. Which makes it drop. Good video though and very informative. 💖
Heyyy! Thanks for sharing your review on the Vevor press. I’m considering one for me and my husband’s business. I wanted to know if you created your mug design or if you purchased it
Hi Liz, I own this press and it works, that's the only thing I like about it. I sub portraits and then but them on canvas. The problem I have is the picture has the center ring from the press and I have used every temp setting and pressure. The friend your giving it to needs to be careful of tipping. My hubby bolted it to the table for me. I have never used any of the attachments.
Hi Liz! New subscriber here. I recently came across your sublimation video. Love that it was short but packed full of info and straight to the point! It's the same with this video. Thanks for the info!
Thank you for this video. I just purchased and received it and had no idea how to start the timer. Now, thanks to you I know I have to hit the down arrow to start it. Do you have to hit it again to turn it off and do you have to hold it down on use the down arrow?
Hello Liz, hope you are doing great. I purchased this heat presser, but didn't do my homework before buying it . Obviously I don't know what I am doing, and I don't know what software to use to get my prints/pictures? Any recommendations?
Hi! Thank you for this video. I have been looking for the mug press frame alone. Do you happen to know if it is sold separately? Mine didn't come with it
Help me please! I'm thinking of buying this press machine. But i know nothing about it. Where do i get the designs that i want to press? Do i need a special program for my designs? Am i going to need another machine for the designs to be pressed? Like a printer?? Thank you!
How is it holding up for your friend? I am curious about using it for mugs and cups. Are there any errors it makes when done the correct way? Also, as for the plate press option, can other items be used instead, like phone cases and key chains?
The plate is loose on mine and is very difficult to tighten. This press isn’t very user friendly. I’m not sure if it’s better than having no press. If it is then it’s not by much
If I want to sublimate 20 oz tumblers and 20 oz beer can glasses will the mug press attachment do it or shout buy a tumbler press separately and buy a heat press without attachments?
What kind of transfer paper you use for the shirts as well as the cups? , what size paper did you use for the cups can you show the steps of what you did for the mugs
Hi! I used A-sub 125g sublimation transfer paper. An 8.5"x11" sheet is big enough to wrap around the 15oz mugs I use but I don't recall the exact dimensions I used for the mug. I will do a sublimation mug tutorial soon! 🥰
@@CoffeePoweredHome I have a hp deskjet do you have any suggestions on the. Next best tranfer paper for the printer I have I read alot of sublimation papers don't work to well with hp
@@natiawilliams8883 Im not familiar with HP printers being used for sublimation. 🤔 Usually the paper doesn't make much difference. As long as the printer ink is specifically sublimation ink even regular copy paper would work (just not as vibrant).
Hi Liz, I have the very same heat press got it late winter last year. Just broke it out the other day and I can not for the life of me get it to press even regardless if it is low, med, or high pressure. As soon as I lock it it seems to have more pressure on the back than the front. Haven't attempted to reach out to Vevor for tech support due to the time frame... I believe it has been over a year. Do you know if this was an issue with these because I had read in the T shirt forum someone had the same issue (they ended up getting a replacement press due, I guess within the time frame) and never posted anything after.
Question- Would you have to remove the shirt press plate if you are making mugs? Could you just unhook the attachment and hook in the mug attachment and move it off to the side?
Awesome. Thanks. I'm so torn between the Vevor and Swing Design as I've heard Vevor uses aluminum for their metal parts and Swing Design uses steel.. price of vevor is perfect thought.
Hi Michelle! If you're just using heat transfer vinyl, that would be fine. If you plan on using sublimation, you'll need to use cups and plates specifically made for sublimation as they have a special poly coating.
Hi there I bought this for my partner for Christmas can you let me know how you print something that can be pressed to the shirt so she can learn, because her Bday is soon and I wanted to get her something that can print the imagines she wants from the internet. your help would be so helpful for her and I. This is the most in-depth instructions for changing the attachments. Thanks so much, you have more info then the manufacturer!
Thank you! I got this as a gift today and was completely overwhelmed. Now I feel a bit more prepared. Can't wait to get home to try it all out.

Oh my goodness watched like 30 seconds and was immediately in love with you haha … love the technical terms 😂
Your "technical terms" are straight fiyah. Thats what I want, clear and easy to understand.
Thank you so much. I ordered the hat press attachment by itself and could not figure out how to put it on.
"You may be tempted to leave the pieces in the box".. I feel so attacked! 😂😅😂
My pieces have all kinds of dust on them😂
Well, I attached the first time after 5 yrs. Thank you for the inspiration 😊❤

Thanks Liz!
Has anyone ever figured out what the suction cups are for lol?
They screw into the base to keep the machine from sliding around 😊
What kind of paper and ink are you using with the graphic on it when transferring on the shirt?
Dye sublimation ink and sublimation transfer paper. I use Cosmos Ink and A-Sub 125g sublimation paper.

how do you know what size mug/tumbler press each attachment fits?
I like that little slidy thing

How do you know what is the correct pressure?
If you put a piece of paper in the press and close it, it should not be able to slip out. Certain items call for more or less pressure tho.
What is "ghosting" ?
When it looks smeared or part of the design comes out, faded
How do you get stuff to review?
