After you drill into the exhaust do you just seal it with mastic tape afterwards or something along those lines?

*Not professional advice, depends on manufacturer specs, also check your area for code requirements. But generally yes, a quality mastic tape (thick foil back) can be used, but you can also use a steel/brass plug with teflon tape, or sometimes you can find specialty metal or silicone plugs made just for this purpose. Some people even use hi-temp silicone sealant from a tube. There's a few different options, but again it's best to call a local professional to do this for you. Thanks for your question!

Meh. No direction on how to locate the flame sensor or hot surface ignitor.

We appreciate the feedback. This video is meant to inform homeowners about the general furnace maintenance process. If you don't have a hardcopy, oftentimes you can find an owner's manual online for your particular furnace containing a diagram that indicates the exact locations of key parts like the flame sensor and surface ignitor. We always recommend having service professional maintain your furnace for safety and efficiency.
