He's certainly among the most hard working athlete ever.
Every pro footballer need to work hard, but his former teammates have all talked about how insane Ronaldo's regimen is. He's always the first to arrive, doing a very intense "warm-up" before training. And when training is over, he's always staying late to continue to train for longer.
Multiple of his teammates have also said to never accept an invitation to dinner from Ronaldo after training. Because not only the dinner won't be great (it's diet food everyday), but after dinner, he'll ask you to continue playing with the ball, despite the fact you're already tired from training...
I follow hips in Football, sometimes I stare directly forward, that's way you can see the ball your own feet and the defender, also it can mean its hard for the defender to read your intent. I thought it was mad how fast CR7 was scanning hip foot knee crazy

the zigzag running demonstrates the anticipation quite well, little secret, if you can anticipate the ball, the players around you, then you understand the game, and you can tear defences apart with passing and dribbling. I don't just mean the game I mean how your own foot will land at certain points, whether you can get your toe on the ball or maybe you cant cover that distance so a more stand up press is better, all these kind of things. Understanding the own timing and mechanics of your own body kind of thing.
I began to Understand this in my teens in Football, but I started when I was 4, so I consider this understanding advanced level, CR7 is like the Grand Professor of this , and almost every aspect of it too. He knows exactly how far he can push his body

Some of the fastest I've seen claims about in football is around 38km/hour or 23 mph so that checks out. Those are the speed demons on the field and the players that bother training it.
