THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I was trying to find a video about what to do about bad team composition the enemy has because sometimes they pick objectively bad compositions (like five sentinels) but we play wrong around it and lose.
Man, I was improving a lot by myself as a Main Sova/KJ. But with this guides that I have been discovering on your channel. You definitively has augmented my Battle IQ. Thanks a lot, this is whole worth value in pure GOLD. Subscriber already waiting for awesome content like this one.
mhm, cant play autopilot and u need to have a plan pre-round based on ults, economy, and ability I think a molly/angle damaging/ hard-clearing (nade) item would also be helpful to add but ig drone kinda is like that..unless drone is a soft clear and molly would be a hard clear WOuld be useful mid-round too to check for lineup agents as well
Ive always had a question that against recon lacking comps, why do they have to peek to gain info? Usually a lot of the times the other times they just rat waiting for a push
Lets say the attacking team decides to full push a site while defenders plays 2 1 2 set up. obviously 2 ppl cant win against 5 under most conditions so they do peeking strats like jiggle peek and then fall back to hold and telling the team right away. this is to prevent the attackers of getting site control for abolutely free
This is just my input, but I would probably say sometimes, but mostly no. Sometimes, you can outlast a phoenix ult by running away or hiding, like other drones. But since phoenix shoots back and can still use the rest of its util kit, it'd be more accurate to just treat it as a player with an extra life than as a drone of any sort; it has much more purpose than to just gather info. In general, ults definitely are going to be on your preround checklist, but those are more round by round rather than the general strategy to last the whole map (which is probably why he doesn't cover it in the video).
i had the same question in mind, and came up with, as woojoo said, that it depends. In pistol round, there wont be an astra wall availabe, since its an ult. If Astra does have ult in the Buy-Rounds after, i would situationally count it as a wall as well, since it blocks vision and bullets (and sound in this case), and thus you have to work around it like a sage wall.
I never see people take this into account on mid of Ascent, if you smoke off the Jett there, she can still get on the spiked wall by sign and OP easily, try it, it’s just a false sense of security
Team compositions don't change between rounds, so you could get a pretty comprehensive set of scenarios before the 1st match. Things like ults and enemy gameplay patterns would probably cause slight changes in the strategies, but being able to adjust these plans quickly takes practice and experience. At some point, it becomes intuitive.
I feel like there could be a few extra types of utility in the list. Soft smokes like cypher, jet, neon, phoenix, and astra recalls. Wall and orb smokes. Mobility. Ways to get around trips silently. Mollies/ post plant lineups. Potential to help team from cross map. Idk these are just some from the top of my head
I am bronze my opponents and teammates are always braindead 🥲🥲not saying that I am too good or something but at least I am not braindead . Why I always get braindead team
Definitely my favorite channel for learning Val atm. Thank you for this free info. It’s much appreciated!

Crazy to see how much this channel blew up
Hey Hooj, great video it helped me alot. I have 1 question tho: wouldn‘t yoru ult count as a drone?
super epic gaming moment 😎
bto this is amazing stuff tysm
On your first Ascent example, does playing 3 A and 2 B break the rules of Ascent?
2:08, Phoenix wall is also one of the walls they would have right ?

6 months later and I wish I had seen this sooner
I haven’t watched the video yet but seeing pearl, my first and only thought would be rush B long 😂
What website is that? Anyways, loving the content! You just earned yourself a subscriber :D
valoplant.gg/
pheonix ult is kinda like a drone sometimes??
@Woohoojin On the google spreadsheet at 1:14, what information does column J display?
^
Wouldnt it be important to be aware of how many mollies they have?

hi, just asking if phoenix ult can count as a drone like a skye wolf or are ults off your list?

bro such great content also can u do a vod review of a kj bronze player (ME). If i show u on ur stream?
Yes! Join my Discord and read the FAQ for information about how to get free VOD review.
@@Woohoojin Sure will do mi amigo ;)
i am literally watching this vid rn
Yoru with an op hits different trust
but his tp so slow?
yoperator
This aged well
Know this an old video, but at 6:30 couldn't you sat Yoru ult is hard recon?
Yoru ult isn't something they'd have consistent access to, so that would be a matter of planning around the ult when they have it, if I had to guess
wait phoenix wall??
Can I ask what the order of your columns in your spreadsheet is?
nvm i read the comments and you don't answer the question so i'll do my best to make my own layout lol also what's with my username ;-;
my val IQ is really low like sub zero because I don't understand what to do mid game and idk how to fight
i have a question for anyone who wants to answer. Does astra ult count as a wall on the checklist? is sage the only agent who counts as wall?
i had the same question in mind, and came up with, as woojoo said, that it depends. In pistol round, there wont be an astra wall availabe, since its an ult. If Astra does have ult in the Buy-Rounds after, i would situationally count it as a wall as well, since it blocks vision and bullets (and sound in this case), and thus you have to work around it like a sage wall.
Some other agents with walls would be Neon and Phoenix, and if you would count Viper's Smoke-Wall as well, theres three.
I never see people take this into account on mid of Ascent, if you smoke off the Jett there, she can still get on the spiked wall by sign and OP easily, try it, it’s just a false sense of security
patched?
What's nearsight
Thats great really important
But i live to uphold a philosophy a motto you would say it goes as such
"Fuck it, we ball"
+sub
but you dont have time to do that before every round no ?
Team compositions don't change between rounds, so you could get a pretty comprehensive set of scenarios before the 1st match. Things like ults and enemy gameplay patterns would probably cause slight changes in the strategies, but being able to adjust these plans quickly takes practice and experience. anyone know what the J column is for im trying to make a spreadsheet myself
Aces
not to nitpick or anything, but isnt yoru ult hard recon in a way?
I think he don't considerated ults to the list because they don't have always ult
It's not always black and white, just use your intuition to guess how the yoru will play with his yeam when he has it, and youre good to go
i guess no more viper
Why is jett an op agent? Soz for dumb question
Bcs dash away

Idk these are just some from the top of my head
at that point the list is never ending and there's too many nuanced things to be aware of.
The problem for me is that my brain doesn't work like that when playing and the lack of time doesn't help either 😭 4:01
"But unfortunately that's just not how it works" LMAO

bro thinks im doing allat
this spreadsheet looks really good , sadly im complete shit at excel
nevermind i figured it out in 10 minutes
Play duelist should be the title since these duelist seem to forget roles
